Why aren't you questioning what this magical "Sea Ice" that instantly freezes the ocean surface so fast and thick is supposed to be or how it's supposed to work? Instantly jumping on ridiculing CVs... tststs :D
-
CVs aren't popular, the CV population is decreasing.
-
fun over all else as long as you aren't killing the fun of your teammates by purposefully throwing
-
You are finally collecting it too. Now if you get gooder you will collect even more... keep on going
-
Yeah FDR rockets are crap. Bombs also (against DDs). FDR overall is... well play it the way you see fit but it's not good against DDs with a brain sadly
-
Well yes but actually no not defending... killing

PQ's The CV problem - discussion with skilled players only
Yosha_AtaIante replied to LemonadeWarriorITA's topic in General Discussion
Had a Shiratsuyu yesterday on the enemy team in my enterprise game with trb. He made mistake thinking counterplay (angling) works against a Superunicum CV player. He was first blood. You meet the wrong CV player you die. Thats just normal. The screenshot was the single solo Enterprise match I had yesterday after a 2week break from the game. CVs are as powerful as usual. -
FDR rockets are perfect for sniping CVs. They do at least 16k dmg on a broadside CV.
-
Don't take my shoukaku rockets away please
-
It would make the game unnecessarily more complicated

welcome to free 2 play game that aims to make money first

Thought about doing a few videos like that as crap posts, improved my voice quite a bit too.
-
No thanks LOL No one is going to read it in the first place. Also what will I do at work when I get bored and no one is circlejerking about CV's anymore?
-
still 240 to go though. We are repeating ourselves already again thanks to Farheim. It's like every new guy who joins this topic gets Wololo (aoe2 reference) until they are converted into CVs are flawed narrative.
-
Usually its enough to take a look at the minimap and recognize that in the screenshot there is no indicator of the CV being the issue of the enemy team still camping. And then thetr is question why if CVs affect all. equally the green team is pushing and the enemy team isn't? Isn't the enemy CV affecting green to and giving a reason not to move up? This is just a clear case of rofl stomp. Certainly neither of the CVs fault.

Cleveland do it need survivability buff or not?
Yosha_AtaIante replied to VedranSeaWolf359's topic in General Discussion
I'm pretty confident in my counterplay skills. But when an implacable once focused my Cleveland for the whole match (and inplac planes are tanky day what you want) I also felt the 5minutes in 5k hp left struggle (because I'm pepega in positioning and probably shouldn't have pushed into such position with CV around so partially my fault) But yes. What I do to enemy Cleveland also happens to me when I play Cleveland. But when it happens against an implacable it's even more sad q_Q -
Implying this is the CV players fault and not just usual random player behavior
-
Telling you without knowing how you play, what you are good in and what mistakes you make, basically telling you without seeing you play is basically impossible and I'm sorry to say but I currently don't have time to teach another person or help or write a guide. Haku is complicated to play effectively. The best you can do is try learning it yourself. I also learn by myself without help.

Cleveland do it need survivability buff or not?
Yosha_AtaIante replied to VedranSeaWolf359's topic in General Discussion
Even Halland AA won't help it. With all the exploits that reduce planelosses you literally need 800dps or more to hurt a CV player for striking a Cleveland and no CV player will cry about losing 6 rocket planes in the first 2 minutes for easy 10k damage on a Cleve -
I agree with you on this. But I don't agree with the rest. That's fine however right? You have your reasons why you think Midway has a higher skill ceiling. I just believe the fact that Midway has easier target selection alone makes it way easier to master.
-
skill ceiling means the way to be really good with a certain ship is either long or easy to reach. So for example midway skill ceiling being low means it's easier to be good in Midway. While on Haku you need more practice and time because the skill ceiling is higher. FDR for example has the lowest skill ceiling, mostly anyone can be good in that ship with very little or basic knowledge. Haku vs Midway? Midway is the safest pick for competetive. But I believe Haku is better overall
-
I have 900 battles in Midway and am pretty sure I can do all and every little thing that can be done. Haku however (Shoukaku) the more I play those two the more I notice that I still improve and learn new things, striking techniques, target prioritization and torpedo mastery. There seems to be no end yet for me in improvement in both of those. Haku also has much stronger tools to influence the match instantly while midway needs a bit more time to truly have impact. Midway being universal and not caring for who you target automatically reduces the skill ceiling massively while in Haku you really need to know what to strike and when/how. Haku has far more tools and approaches while Midway are very linear (but effective) Basically Midway to me feels like easy mode compared to Haku

Cleveland do it need survivability buff or not?
Yosha_AtaIante replied to VedranSeaWolf359's topic in General Discussion
Cleveland definetly needs some kind of help. As soon as there is a CV in the game a Cleveland is pretty much food and a very easy target. All cruisers without a heal are easy targets but Cleveland tend to eat CV dmg much easier. It's not rate for me to get 10k+ rocket salvos in them. For a cruiser without a heal... That is rather bad especially in the first 2 minutes. -
to get better with it. Haku has incredibly high skill ceiling. If only Midway is played then one will never be able to use and understand Haku fully. Regular practice is very important on Haku.
