    A clanmates saying based on a statement of you about griefing players by playing CV that us two could become good buddies. I was sceptical and wanted to see if you have DE skilled. And you don't so you aren't disappointing. Your build is alright for a high dpm max. dmg focused midway. I disagree with air supremacy but it's just a 1 point skill so not dramatic.

    FDR is a meme anyway. And even then DE and 5% faster regen is a waste thanks to huge squadron size. better to take squadron speed and speed for dive bombers instead because they need that.

    Many builds presented here are terrible choices, waste of points all over the place. Increased fire chance on already high chance bombs is.... and then the 5% faster regen of air supremacy is also a point waste. Can't believe people aren't taking the 2point skill that increases squadron speed. Just shows how many there actually are that don't understand how to play CV right. The cherry on top is players actually taking that useless skill that reduces flak dmg. Just dodge the flak, easiest thing in the world and you'll realize that you just wasted 4 points

    sometimes there is to many long range auras around a ship you just got a drop off and if you F boost in long/mid range AA flak can spawn on the exit boost killing those last 3 planes which is an unnecessary loss. With last gasp your boost fully refills to max meaning you can boost away from the target you dropped and bring at least 2 of those 2 planes back home. Also about the longer boost and why you should take it. If you feel like you have plenty most times... that means you aren't using your boost efficiently enough. Practice using your boost often and a lot.

    don't take air supremacy. 5% faster regen translates to at best 2 more planes regenerated per squad type per game it's not worth it. Take 5% longer engine boost time instead. More engine boost means you reach targets faster = more dpm = more dmg

    don't take torp speed increase, take the skill that decreases arming distance. Take the skill that gives you one more heal charge for torp bombers. The rest you should easily be able to get together yourself. The fighter skills don't make any sense on Kaga so don't touch them. Also the 4point skill that reduces dmg of flak clouds absolute nonsense and a Noob trap don't take

    I see, because I even safely waited until the planes after entering 6km AA got as close to 5km before enabling sector because I'm aware of the to early thing and it still didn't show. I also did use it with AA initially disabled to only check for the instant damage and only thing it showed me was consistent tick hit. Maybe WG managed to mess things up again

  18. I always assume that most enemy players will be super unicums so I play around that. I don't like to hope for a potat to not understand what it means. If I can understand that when I'm rpfed while I'm second line that a DD has passed the front line and is now closest to me so can anyone else. This little information can ruin important torp runs Usually I can easily figure out if there are sneaky flanker without that skill and in a Shima even if I knew it's usually not something I would be able to solve it guns because Shima guns win while kiting not while engaging.

    Does it only have one aura too? I might have mixed dmg numbers because of planes entering long to mid to short range too after a while. The tick speed might be a valid theory

    I'm not interested in checking which has no flak xD it would be easier to ask a cv player to roam in Long range aa and dodge flak however

    yeah its hard to tell but yes it appears it does additional damage only after a few ticks (seconds) went past. Because bits didn't dodge flak sudden 7k numbers popping up in between ticks doesn't help to determine it perfectly. The huge dmg hit that came when activating sector that was happening before cpt rework is definetly gone however which is very sad
  22. remove radiolocation, it gives away your position (enemy can smartly triangulate by checking if he has the mark or not and determine if you are closer to him or one of his teammates) and take Survivability expert. The extra HP is very important

    I believe the suggested skills are chosen depending on what your captain was previously skilled for. If you had bft or aft on it before for some memes then it might choose depending on that who knows.

    After testing this skill in Repu against Midway in training room it shows that the AA during sector running does more damage per tick after it reaches 100% effectiveness than without. The initial hit after sector activation is not affected and stays at a consistent 710.It seems the huge dmg hit overall was removed.
