Not really. AA can be stronger now on individual captain builds so feeling of how many planes can usually survive against a petro can vary from "easy AA isn't that strong" to "[edited]my torps are melting and second run is impossible". rockets with having not only more lead but minimal engagement distance also got bigger so its no longer possible to really predict an unspotted DD well since they simply render to late to get a good aim on them. TiTs on Midway got a much smaller reticle than before when fully aimed and their mechanics of how attack run is initiated gives them more survivability in return making Midway the Supreme farming tool in randoms again (broke my dmg record in Midway recently with a 312k game). Overall what changed the most is AA inconsistency. Sometimes it's just as weak as it usually was and other times a full AA Zao will melt your planes as effectively as a standard Wooster with DFAA enabled. So surprises will be happening for sure. Flak spawns closer to your planes than usual meaning your old dodging rythm needs slight adjustment and the new German DD line has their own flak rythm too. Besides that same priority to influence games as before. Midway currently being the best CV in t10 to take for influence.

I get to use TiTs though
-
I try but I'm bad
-
guys im just kidding. come on
-
exactly. finally you agree

CVs are oppressed and to weak. Yes we don't lose HP to your puny counterplay we lose much more we lose games because RNG screws us CVs You lose ship HP? boohoo we lose the game because sometimes the bomb that needs to land doesn't land. CVs are to weak currently and need buff.

Why should we still play your game ?

Why don't you just stop playing? -
I also shy away from spending money. I want to buy goods without lootbox rng all around them is why. Premium time... okay I do spend for that because it's quality of life improvement Ingame and I can afford to but I don't spend for other things anymore. add to that a busy irl currently and yeah, WoWs under given circumstances not only can't be that important for me anymore it also isn't as fun so yeah, burning out but it's a good thing. I just hope that I can enjoy it again as I did during my active times eventually.

Guys I regularly play surface ships too btw. Nah I'm just to much it a try hard. Nothing to do with CVs, feelings of pve/pvp or whatever. I enjoy games that are barely won of course but the level of energy I sometimes have to put into them be it surface ship or CV is to much and tiring. I wish I was a potat again and could just mindlessly enjoy the explosions :D

Yeah. Biggest issue for me personally is that I don't feel the game as a game anymore. Might aswell be red and blue pixels fighting each other. It lost the magic so to say to me. I care to much about winning and reading the game flow than just enjoying playing. Need to stop and some refreshing things and new grinding motivation
-
Nah not willing to switch games. Rather going to take a break from wows soonish until new interesting stuff or better changes happen
-
I also want RTS back. Had more enjoyment back then too. But very unlikely to happen sadly
-
Well reality is that there are still shitton of other unicums around that continue playing. Game is going strong for a reason. And if CVs were truly that easy to play why is it then that most CV players are absolute trash and a non factor with 0 influence in most games? Whatever we had this same discussion already 2 years ago and nothing changed. Yes I noticed. You are still here. What would we do without each other. What would the forum be if CV haters and lovers wouldn't clash once in a while?
-
Well it's good that some of them leave. What I'm interested in is how healthy that anti CV discord is by now
-
I only see the same few names discussing. Amount of posts of the same people /= nothing to do with more complains about CVs
-
You make it sound like it could ever get better. This is just how online games are and wows by concept of absolute random will always pair you with drooling potats. No matter how much you balance this game, no matter CVs or who quits and continues playing. Pepegas will always be pepegas and throw their ship and you will lose and rage because of them. At least CV gives us CV mains a way around those pepegas and I gladly ruin the game of others for my own enjoyment especially if the means are totally fine and provided by WG in the form of CV. There is no hope here. Nothing will ever get better
-
Tbh there are as sunleader pointed out less CV haters currently active on the forum than before. But that might also be because some of them might have quit. Good for them and for the forum I would say :D
-
I actually want to see more people sniping CVs. I always find it exciting even though I curse at first when I get sniped myself. It makes the match less dull. If I don't actively dodge the enemy CV and the shots coming my way from BBs who pay attention I might die to quickly. At the same time sniping myself when the CV made a positional mistake is very rewarding. If I lose 4 - 5 planes striking a Petro then doing unrepairable damage to a CV with the same plane losses is more rewarding tbh.
-
Do we need to beg community members now to participate in hating CVs more actively? Is your anti CV camp getting smaller :0?
-
well yes of course. That's why they do
-
well if there is 2 Shima on your team and one Shima on the enemy team and the enemy team loses then the Shima win rate after the match is 66% because 2 shimakaze win and one loses. Then this will just be added to the total battles of shimakaze.

Azur lane PR4 Ships collab with WOWS

who asked for a female daredevil though.... -
no they increase arming distance so that makes it harder to hit DDs.
-
A lot of practice and reading their mind basically. It's easy to hit them when torping from behind. Also paying close attention to how they accelerate when torping their broadside and leading correctly. Basic rule for leading a torp is always lead more than you think you need to lead
