    im not the one who brings things as complex as that into the comparison. Believe it or not but balancing is done after skilled players discover gamebreaking ways to play with what is given to them. It'`s for this reason why in fighting games for example certain characters get banned from tournaments. It`s not because the developers intended those characters to be broken but because the top performers of said characters continuously provide proof of the meta only revolving around this one character as he beats all others. This has nothing to do with nukes or RL motivations or politics so fix your skewed way of reading other players posts. Similiar to this It`s not true that me or El2a or other excellent CV players are discarded anomalies. There are quite a few now who are able to play CV on another level in comparison to the average players, enough of them actually that WG had to remove CV from CBs because the difference in skill was so big that it didn't matter anymore what the surface plebs did. So WG is clearly reacting to players like El2a. The rocket changes by themselves are also proof. WG reacted instantly after we pointed out planes being immune to flak under certain conditions too. Just look at this gif and the rocket strike. Regardless of the detonation striking rockets this close to a DD in a 90° angle with a perfect reticle like that would have done at least 10k. This move probably only at most 3 players could perform like that on EU. It involves precise mouse movements, "Swinging" of the reticle all while controlling the boost to slow the planes down and refreshing and recognizing the need of the boost consumable with only minimal A and D usage to make such a tight aim possible. On top of all that you need to predict the targets speed and turns to lead it correctly to get this result Now there is quite a bit more hidden here. For example one might ask: Why isnt the middle of the reticle alligned with the DD? You aimed badly? No, it's because that way more rockets will hit as they get stuck on the hull and superstructure due to the flat angle from which they are fired. Can this be done the same way today? No, as the rockets have been adjusted to be fired from a higher angle and you need significantly more lead to perfrom this attack now. Due to the higher rocket firing angles you also need to make the attack from further away not allowing for such tight techniques anymore. If that isnt WG reacting to players like El2a and me then what is?

    I never said anywhere that the game is perfect. I play CV because not only is it fun but without players like me CVs would likely be buffed. You always need players who excell at them to show to the devs how good they are and where they need tweaks. CVs don't get nerfed when looking at the average plaers

  11. I need to be able to test them thoroughly to get a better idea in why some have the easiest time dodging homing torps and others don't. At the same time I want to test destroyer vs sub interaction more thoroughly as that is nearly impossible to truly analyze in randoms. The behavior of most players is to "random" to truly draw a conclusion of who does it wrong or right and the circumstances there are to diverse. You allow superships so why not subs there? It would also be interesting to see how well a single BB can chain depth charge strikes before the sub can escape as currently its nearly impossible for a sub to escape a chain strike since BBs have very fast reload and the subs oil is visible for long enough for such a reload to finish. I have killed subs in randoms that way before and it felt like it was impossible for the sub to escape once it hit it once. So allow the option to play them in training room please. Even if you make future changes to them at least I and others who are interested can get a better idea and maybe even work on guides on how to correctly interact with subs

    i think you are missing the fact that it has Midways most improtant squadrons that behave exactly like midways do... HE bombs and rckets. Therefore it has the same if not more influence thanks to the additionally endless super planes. Its literally midway on steroids and with the boosters on takeoff for every squadron even if you are border hugging in your spawn your planes arrive more than fast enough.

    Not really. I don't hide mine and of course one would have the best results in CVs as they are the most influential class it's only natural. Sad however is that most who cry about CVs can't even go above 60% in CVs which just shows the utter non understanding and incompetence of those whiners at both understanding how they work and lack of understanding how to make such a powerful class work. Says a lot about the player

    fact is that we don't know how wide the span of success is but what can be said about their monetary success is that it is very big. Players buy everything up. T10 Italian DDs are all over the place, to play those you need to spend at least 200€. Everyone buys lootboxrs and early access. And monetary success is one of the most important successes to achieve and keep which they not only keep but steadily increase on. So why does it matter to release new maps? Monetary success is going up after all even with mediocircy. So who cares if CVs are OP if people still spend money with an upwards trend? Who cares about maps not being released if people spend money on every inch of early access stuff? Who cares? What does this have to do with being a shill? I'm not spending any money recently on WG. I haven't spend for quite a while except for the occasional name change. So I'm not part of WGs success im just playing the game. But at least I'm not the type of pepega to deny what is there to be seen. Yes CVs are still op, yes submarines still need more work. Yes it would be nice to have more maps. But regardless of that I personally don't care as I have fun, just not enough to feel the need to spend money at the moment. I plan to get myself a premium sub in the future though! and I will likely spend money on support CVs as I love to see my favorite ship return. Does it make me a shill for liking and still playing this game though?

And now we got a super ship Midway which is probably the strongest CV in the game since they changed it last but no one talks about it. As always just clueless potatoes complaining about CVs. And they wonder why WG don't take them seriously

    guys. Minimap spotting wouldn't solve anything. The issue is not the spotting. The main issue is the ability of the CV to hold a flank alone and threaten pushes. The camping in CBs doesn't happen because of the spotting. Ships who shoot each other automatically spot each other and there really isn't stealthy Gameplay. Unicums don't waste their time to spot "stealthy" ships on purpose ever unless it's a real priority. WG needs to somehow reduce the accuracy of strikes or the striking players capability to strike accurately instead because that is the true issue with CVs. A unicum CV player doesn't care about their team shooting at what he spots because in randoms it just doesn't happen reliably. What a unicum CV player does is finish the job himself. WG needs to find a way to limit that kill capability.

WG already hinted at those possibilities when they in the beginning of the CV rework announced their ideas on what they would do In the future with the removed CVs Also remember, the DevBlog says it's an early concept test. They are not going to introduce anything like they written in the DevBlog live. it will be tested and changed until its live multiple times
