Did you not notice them changing subs between last randoms test and now? These changes came because of suggestions -

You can spare me with your useless apologies. CV rework is also still broken Subs will be released in a likely broken state and that's just how it's going to be and your lack of involvement in attempting to make them at least somewhat fit will lead to your own miserable experience once they are released and I seriously hope you after they release in such an impossible to balance state that you just leave this game and the community for good as players like you are both useless in the game and their teams but also as a member of this community. Then you and all the others who dislike the development so much can gather together again and comfort each other in their very own community. -

So what is your purpose in all of this? Why tell me this? Do you want me to stop suggesting things and repeat like you to "just delete subs"? -

I don't care how much you think that they just can't work because this train of thought is completely useless in the case of WG implementing them anyway. So tell me simply if you have ideas on how you can lessen the impact of them and their release with a suggestion and not an explanation. If you can't suggest anything and don't want to then whatever. I suggested several significant changes that will completely turn submarines on their head making them far more difficult to play. Those are real and in my opinion reasonable changes already. Griefing simply won't be possible in the way I want to implement them. Nothing of the things subs can currently do that you might consider griefing is possible after my suggestions take place and if you have an Idea of how they can still be annoying then point that out please? This nonsense of "its all meaningless they are crap no matter how you make them" is not helping you, me or WG. Again... WG will release subs no matter how much you repeat your views. So let's work out how to make them the least toxic without removing them or making them impossible to play. -

You are missing the point. Its not about them being a failure. This topic is about them being implemented anyway and suggesting ways to make them at least weaker than they currently are without crippling them completely. If you don't have suggestions then don't post them. But your criticism towards WGs decisions to implement them is better used in all the other topics already existing as thisnone is not the place for it. You feel they cant be balanced? Even after i provided you with so many ideas you still think they would be to strong? Then I think you are overestimating them a bit to much. -

i dont need to show one post as you created one whole topic where you show yourself that you have no idea about the whole subject. -

Exactly, these are suggestions after all, it doesn't all need to be exactly as I say -

getting within 6km of any DD / lightcruiser. They will be where the sub wants to pass for example and they dont need hydro active to detect the sub. They will always be able to detect it without hydro as per class as a new trait if the sub goes above 1/2 speed -

read carefully again (sorry if this comes over the wrong way no idea how to say it differently) of how I think to balance that out the detection of the sub will be much easier if it goes fast underwater therefore while it can remain underwater for longer it needs to move slow as to not be detected and easily killed) I solved this buff by bringing it downsides as if you dont increase the underwater duration the downsides I add would outright kill the class In the old testing t10 subs could dive for 10minutes with 30kts. In my suggestion they can dive for 10minutes but need to reduce speed significantly as to not be detected covering only half the distance in those 10min. Therefore they dive for long but barely cover ground -

There it is quite easy for everyone to see. That and your past post history that is all over the place. You are putting those words out everywhere by yourself and the way you talk about subs and WG. -

I understand this and I thought about it a lot but with simple design subs will always stay broken. WG needs to take the plunge and make them harder to play otherwise there is no way I could see them being implemented in a healthy way. Players who are truly interested in playing them will then educate themselves. The ones who try them once and notice they are to difficult will still play the game and the other classes but at least it will be a healthier game. WG won't attract many sub players this way but it's the same for CVs and thats just the fate of such niche classes -
Yes for this reason I tend to compliment mostly and stopped reporting. I notice how I get a bit happier every time I see how my karma increased so I like to give that little happiness myself to people I think did well. It makes everyone feel better about their performance

I agreee completely, what do you think about my suggestion of removing the aoe damage limiter and the increase in alpha strike and giving all cruisers access to the planes? Combined with my newly suggested detection methods this should punish subs far more easily. -
Its to give the players who are currently complaining ingame chat about submarines to release their anger more often via reports

I am because WG clearly reacted to some of the suggestions. You can deny it however much you want but it's a fact. Just because they don't do it exactly to the last detail as you or others imagine it doesn't mean they didn't change subs from the first test to this one. I bet you don't even understand any of the differences between the testing now and the previous one as far as I can see all you do is talk badly of the whole thing while being completely uninformed. I actually pointed out the effect of the changes in my big opening post too, they are rather significant. How can you possibly deny that happened when it's something you can experience yourself. Well you probably can't relate because you likely did no in depth testing or spend any thoughts on how any of this works. So why do you think you can say that what I suggest doesn't matter? You don't put any work into suggesting anything, understanding how it works, understanding the changes made but believe you can dismiss other players experiences and even outright try to lie about facts? Sorry but you deserve every bit of unenjoyable sub gameplay you receive with their implementation -

It's not about what is possible but rather what WG is doing and as it stands they are going to implement those subs no matter how often you repeat that it's futile. So you have three choices until that happens. You either try to give suggestions as to how to make the gameplay at least somewhat more enjoyable as to what we have now, you ignore the whole thing and play the game or you quit after they are implemented. You can see for yourself what happened with CVs after the rework three years ago. Players complained without ever stopping and now we have SuperCVs. It's going to be the same for subs. And as it was with CVs barely enough players will quit playing. -
It likely serves as tool for players to blow off steam. If they feel like they can report more and because of it it somehow calms them WG achieves the objective of making players who report others happier that they had a way (even if it does nothing which they probably dont understand) to get back at that player for whatever reason they deemed fit to report them. So overall karma itself serves no purpose. It's just a made up and meaningless system for some while others deem it important enough. Fact is it does nothing so it doesn't really matter unless it for some made up reason it matters to you or others
-
You have no idea
-
it is usualy related to the amount of your Karma. If you have high enough karma your reports/compliments increase
-
When CVs were first introduced after the rework they were compared to now, much easier to play and perform in. I bet you myself, Nov_A and El2a if given the chance to play as they were first released would be able to get 100% winrates no questions asked with the knowledge and skill we developed since they were released. That's the difference and if you picked them up now and I dare you to play Haku that you wouldn't even get past 60% without investing time in learning how they work and get a feel for how AA works and how to bait flak. You have no clue and yet you say they are easy mode
-
I still don't understand what you are trying to say with this. It's well known that this is the case for most players who pick up CVs and who can perform in them as funny enough... not everyone can. A more important question therefore would be why you are incapable to increase your CV winrate by at least 10% in relation to your other stats if they were so easy to play? Not so easy mode in your case i guess? So what's the point in pointing at me and my stats and their relations to my other classes stats? Are you trying to discredit me? Then do it by explaining what part of what I say is wrong instead of pointing at my CV stats
-
And my Yukikaze winrate is 83%. We can go on with this nonsense continuously or you can just stop pointing water is wet facts out 24/7. I agree that CVs have to much influence. That is once of the reasons I achieve higher winrates in them compared to other classes. They also happen to be my main class which enables me to play them much better than the other ships this however doesn't invalidate my understanding of the game and how CVs tie into that. Also it's quite funny how you argue that you played this ship years ago that he mentioned but when it comes to my stats you don't care that those might be influenced by stats from years ago going as far to dismiss my "recent" solo runs for the sake of years old data. So if you point at my stats its not important how long ago that was but in your case it matters? Literally moving the goalposts as you need it

Is Béarn worth to get for operations?
Yosha_AtaIante replied to CaravellaCaravan's topic in General Discussion
No, bearn is not a good ship for PVE content. Try Ark Royal instead -
I appreciate you trying to point out the problem with how they view this game but it doesn't really work against the level of tribalism on this forum. If you don't completely and utterly hate on CVs and don't blame solely them and subs on all the problems and how dare you blame the playerbase for not getting some understanding on how things work then you either don't know what you talk about, your stats are to bad to have a word in any of this or you are a WG shill
