I only really play coop now, but this mode was a lot of fun. was able to get 4 lines to tier X and used the red boosters to help get 3 commanders up to 21 points. would like to see the mode return at some point

HMAS Vampire was obtainable in 2020 in the "summer sale": https://worldofwarships.com/en/news/sales-and-events/summer-sale-2020/ But, yes - it does seem an odd, throwaway prize and the Scrap Iron Flotilla do deserve something grander than that, really, in this game.

it looks like you can get it for free: "They are also rewarded for completing combat missions, and the number of containers you can earn this way will be sufficient to complete the entire collection." Probably a grind and a half, though?

The addition of a new cat commander is a surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.

The commander skill rework made me stop playing randoms (dead eye made playing cruisers very unfun). Play co-op now. I would be counted in some of the charts (the ones that count random battles) as leaving. interesting but discouraging charts, those.

Voted for BENSON because it’s the only real ship.

Grinding through the final 36k XP mission - should do easily with 2 weeks to go. Not sure whether to blow resources on the 30 token bundles to get the ship rather than get the captain.

Last two parts of the final mission to go. Two weeks left, so should be easy to get Tilly Kelly. Co-op’s been less civil than normal this week - got reported 3 times in 2 days. People chasing kills and de-caps etc, I guess...

I've not played submarines yet Don't enjoy playing against them in co-op, so've not wanted to inflict subs on anyone else But bought a submarine with the tokens to try in the sub-only Op, which seems the only gentlemanly way to play them?

I can't see that we can move captains to different tech tree ships for free? That would be handy. Oh well

None of the new batch are particularly memorable. Roon is a lot of fun - total psycho, mind - as is Yukikaze (Haa, haa, haaah!) Prinz Eugen and Admiral Hipper both stand out, too, as do Cleveland, Hood and Nelson.

In fairness to WG, there is a UK-themed event coming up -- a dockyard competition (but without Devonport or Portsmouth).

The web campaign is a nice surprise :)
