lol, yes you di you only changed it when I pointed out it was BS ...... and that was only after having to force you to try to explain why the server active user numbers were only maxing at 25k at the time...and you couldnt. nice try though.
-
he tried it last year with m.. "there are MILLIONS of WoWs players".... nope, there are not. Not even close.
-
yeah, nope. the vast majority of those accounts are defunct... dead, gone, unused. Just look at active server numbers then compare to total accounts, its very simple. Odd that I was right last time on this and nothing has changed though.... If you want something to REALLY chew over, just consider that there are VASTLY higher number of ex-WoWs players than current WoWs players.... vastly more. Churn-rate is a [edited] eh and it gets worse when you regularly crap on your player base.
-
Colonel Giuliani misinformation stream is in full flow again as usual... a tiny fraction of those accounts are active. Hes showing you total accounts ever and thinking they are mostly still active, its kinda cute in a way, the level of idolisation.

Here is why WG won't do anything about the Santa Crates scam
Starchy_Tuber replied to viceadmiral123's topic in General Discussion
As it happens, they quite possibly have. Their advertising states that a crate can result in 1 of 107 ships, however, if it transpires that there is a "shortlist" that actually limits what you can initially get to a subset of those 107, then the advertising is "false", and false advertising is illegal in many countries. Whilst it is not possibly to state with absolute certainty that this is what has happened, the evidence too date is disturbing. I have yet to see any substantiated evidence to the contrary of the "shortlist first" theory, that supposedly put forward so far by Col Giuliani and others has been from 2019 youtube or unsubstantiated claims of "i got this so there!" or people mistaking a SC roll for a crate gift etc. Heres some VERY convincing argument: New account, 5 ships from tech tree, 1 premium - a tirpitz. Owner Buys crates, get a Makarov. Santa Crate rolls another ship - gets California. Santa Crate rolls another ship - gets an SC. Just think about that - he has a total of now 3 premium ships at the point that he rolls a repeat premium to get that SC. The odds are rather large. It isnt just rigged so the house wins, its blatantly fake advertising as you do NOT get a chance of 107 ships... you have to first jump through the hoop of this retarded "Shortlist"... which is mentioned NOWHERE. And that, my duderooney, is false advertising and illegal in many, many places. -

I think some of these people entirely forget that what ships they get on their account gets tracked in other places... So, yeah, call BS on this guys claim, coz, its ...well... "unsubstantiated" FYI Logan Mountstuart - your WOWs account details/data get sent out to a lot of websites that track accounts for stats and new ships etc.... so every new ship you get gets recorded and, well, lots of stuff gets tracked you know? Just worth bearing in mind. -
Im not a WoT player so I dont know - do they rip off their customers also with lies about how you can win premium ships but forget to tell you the bit about "but only after you trawl through 5 crap ships first"..?

your screen needs to be focused on the twtich stream, if you run it int he background it often doesnt register. for some reason when i watch on my ipad it totally ignores it...had it on the ipad all day today - nothing.... 75 mins yesterday focused on pc, got it right away -
Preliminary look at Santa's crates statistics collected by our Forumite "Black_Falcon120"...
Starchy_Tuber replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
which means you rolled ships that you already had - so got an SC which rolls off the full list. -

Hypothesis about the Makarov / Satan Crates shitstorm
Starchy_Tuber replied to FixCVs_Nautical_Metaphor's topic in General Discussion
No, it hasnt. Many are missing the important fact that this time they have really screwed up because what they have advertised is patently NOT what is occurring - there is an undocumented pre-list of ships that you have to bypass before you actually get to the full list of ships that they tell you are available in any crate. That is bad juju, lots of rules and regs broken by doing this... which makes it substantially different than any previous year. -
now, you say that with levity ...but.... Im not buying any crates as I know I will get Makarov or Yudachi and I dont want either, ever.... and with them being "guaranteed", F-that. but with 20+ Tier 10s there a chance of a ship in a SC.... odds on most of those ships from an SC this year rolling Makarov first up are looking pretty frakkin high right now ... on a positive note at least that means that getting XXX pumpkin Halloween camos wont be the shi(f)tiest reward this year...

Well, if you like "truth" perhaps you & pete might want to wait for more data to be presented before calling "fake news" as if that is a certainty supported by some other evidence .... ???? Or is that other "evidence" just your faith in WeeGee being "honest" in its ads? If it is, I'd suggest "truth" is more like "gullibility" as their history is not replete with openness and honesty is it? -

Are you suggesting that they artificially increased the value of the item by making it virtually unobtainable and then milked that almost instantly by making it suddenly re-available but only for filthy cash... even though they just removed it for being "too popular"...? GOSH! Im SHOCKED! Shocked I tell you! -

So, it is only wrong if it affects lots of people, if it only affects a few people it isnt wrong.... and the 1 frikking minute of typing new text to fix it, is not worth it because those people deserve it... No1 Lesson in Life: Some people are King Canutes just because they can be. No 2 Lesson In Life: The internet enables people to be Canutes -

Maybe, perhaps, the issue is with how it is being played, not its colour.- 58 replies
