Do Basics of survivability and India Yankee and Juliet Yankee Bissotwo stack?
Starchy_Tuber posted a question in Q&A Section
As per the title: Do Basics of survivability and India Yankee and Juliet Yankee Bissotwo stack? Or can one drop the two flags if one chooses BoS? -
0.7.9 pts Flooding Effects & Ship Spotting Technology

Server load - some bean-counter worked out it would cost more processor time resulting in needing more servers.... or resources on each server... so radar stays as dumb and broken as it currently is until the bean-counter runs out of beans. -
They don't care.
-
its 23 pages long, life is too short
-
Have they stated the reason why?

Radar shouldn't see through islands. Radar shouldn't illuminate other ships on your team outside of a set radius i.e. your radar illuminates anything within 10km and also alerts anything within 10km - no friendly ship outside of that receives the radar data. PS: I'm a poor DD player even though I like playing them.... since the radar-fest I don't think I've played any mid-tier+ DD.

Pink on the subject...

Storms are excellent.... I'd also quite like to see multiple small, faster-moving Squalls, rather than a single large "storm". And can the Storm and Snowstorm effects be made darker? I've always had an issue over the game looking a bit too "bright and sunny" .. darker, foreboding skies, please!

So you finish the Brit arc and.... you get a "coming soon" display with no way to check where you stand in the hall of fame... just that lonely sad, no-info piece of crap message. Utterly pathetic "Arc", really, really, really low-effort, poor-design, zero-engagement PoC. I really hope you change this before putting it out live as it is ruddy awful.
-
The scenario is set up to be successful if you have good AA ... which no UK DDs have.... so regardless of it being a Yank-fest on PT it's a pretty weird choice. Surprised that there isn't also a UK Cruiser portion that requires you to set fires... British shafted once again for Hollywood-History and Russian revisionism.

Very enjoyable game mode, radically different, purists will hate it. My only advice would be to slap a large text warning and siren sound the moment a team starts to capture the main Cap point..... as you have very little time to react to it being captured otherwise.... and so many people don't watch the mini-map that you are going to have entire tribes of mashed potato wondering why the game ended. Oh PS: PLEASE give it a rest with Tier X on everything fcol.

Having played more of this I have to say that this is least immersive, completely uninteresting "mission arc" I've ever seen on WoWs. There is zero sense of engagement with zero interactivity... you just play games as normal and "magically" you will complete things. It's utterly boring, lacks any engagement and feels like it's been slapped together in 5 minutes with the attitude of "whatever, that will do". Seriously sucks Donkey Balls I'm afraid WG. Even the very worst arc has the engagement of being able to select a mission and know what you are aiming to achieve... this, this is bland beyond belief.
-
It isnt obvious what you are supposed to do in terms of what qualifying ships needed and if the objectives are restricted to set missions or can be completed *free* during normal gameplay within any game... needs making clearer.

London Port is pretty poor with or without fog... would prefer Scapa Flow tbph, or Portsmouth or Southampton....

Finally, the 200% is over. Now I can go back to winning.

I think Valrond plays in the higher Tiers Yo, he doesn't concentrate on one ship type only for seal clubbing only at tier 5 and 6 like you do.... where you CV "l33tn3ss" can regularly wipe out the plebs on his own, over and over, with little challenge or skill. -
I do wonder why you have to be so mean to other people, it's not a flattering quality... and the game will be changed to suit the majority income source..and I'll put money on that NOT being the top couple per cent Unicums, but the "potatoes". Some "top players" can't seem to even grasp that others play for fun and just for fun.... so their complaints of "it isn't fun" cannot be squashed by stat-shaming arrogance and is a perfectly valid standpoint. One that doesn't deserve to be shat upon by people who could be little more than aim-aid using oikes who think that because their stats are better their viewpoint carries more weight. It doesn't.

It means you cant buy another one, with the same bonuses, as a gift for another person. its "only for you".

or gave up on the game... Remind me? Whats the current customer retention rate like? ¬_¬ -
The game has a massive problem with customer retention and churn... but, as you can see from many replies "there's nothing wrong with the game, u just need to git gud!" Customer retention and churn rate say otherwise... but you won't get anything balanced from this forum as too many people have too much committed to allow themselves to be critical - so long as the top X per cent perceive themselves to be happy - "The game is fine!". I just stopped playing a few days ago .... and I really don't see any reason to come back: it may be a game, but currently, it isn't a fun game... (And now watch lots of invested players tell me that it IS...I just don't understand what fun is!")

Signal flags and Camo are amazingly astoundingly incredibly breathtakingly over-priced.
-
Prices for signals in the arsenal need adjusting
Starchy_Tuber replied to dCK_Ad_Hominem's topic in General Discussion
yup, signal flags are stupidly expensive -
I've blacklisted a few players, in particular, a CV player who consistently does nothing for his team - and yet this is the fourth time he's been present on my team over the last couple of months. Is blacklisting supposed to actually do anything or is it just a cosmetic "feel better button"?
