I personally feel that rerolls are pointless. They clearly establish that you care what others think of your stats - which is actually fine, why not focus on metric of improvement? The problem is, the only people whose opinion you should care about are the good players. Y'know, the same people who can sniff a reroll from miles away... also the same people who can see the level you've been playing for the last few months, and won't care how you did 2 years ago if you're doing good now. Keep your stuff, and just keep playing. Take it from someone who's had plenty to fix - 11k random battles now - it takes time, but it's way more satisfying to see real progress on your one and only account, when it took a lot of effort to fix, than just doing a reroll that everyone will spot regardless. People with 1k battles, 60+% wr, 60k damage, lol.. we totally didn't see what you did there
  2. I think that they're not helping themselves with what looks like a classic case of double standards when it comes to balancing russian ships vs. those of other nations. A good example is radar range - USN CL's had their radar range nerfed to 9km because WG said that stealth radar + that DPM is just toxic against DD's (which they were quite correct about). How is it ok, then, that russian CL's with 180mm, hard hitting, accurate, great DPM-for-the-caliber railguns are ok with stealth radar, then? Stealth radar on CL's is either ok or it isn't, this shouldn't be nation-dependent. I think nerfing the radar range on russian CL's to 10km would go a long way towards placating everyone screaming about russian bias. This is still a full km longer than USN CL's, which is fine as russian radar is typically longer reaching with a shorter duration. She had reach, I had flexibility.

    Yamato Scorpioid Camouflage Needs Buff

Yamato, the most powerful Jedi Master of them all. Until Darth Kremlin comes along and executes order 66
  4. The question is, can you farm additional coal from them, or is it just a visual bug? If you can get more coal, I for one welcome our new UI bug overlords...

    Yamato Scorpioid Camouflage Needs Buff

For the smolensk, maybe one of the pincer arms ignites a lightsaber and deflects the shells back at it? I'm fairly sure this would be historically accurate

    Here we go again

Since each directive has around 6 missions that are doable in coop, and you need only 4 for each, I'm not quite sure how you arrived at this conclusion.

    Yamato Scorpioid Camouflage Needs Buff

I think that, if a DD gets to 1km distance of a Yamato with that camo, the pincers should grab it, lift it out of the water, and break it in half. Also, can we have one pincer arm hold a giant fly swatter as a new form of AA?

So, nothing to cry about here about literally any of the directives. Plenty of choice on which to do and you can still get the London fairly easily. I'd like to stress that not complaining when there's nothing to cry about is just as important as voicing concerns when there is. If we cry all the time regardless of what they do, the community is just easy to ignore as they whine 24/7 anyway. We'll be worse off, please apply some filters before deciding to complain.

I don't think the module incapacitations have a single battle requirement though, so it might take longer, but it's doable, if for example someone doesn't want to play CV's in randoms.

Exactly, I was pointing out you can do it in coop just to illustrate how easy one can make this for themselves.

    Here we go again

My pleasure. I'll happily criticize you lot when I think you're doing something questionable, but this isn't one of those times, these directives seem doable for pretty much anyone who has t5+ ships in port. Thanks in advance for the London, I'm looking forward to adding her to my port!

    Here we go again

Thanks a lot! So, let's see what can a normal player without the optimal ships for it do to obtain London: Directive 1. - 25 fires (plenty of tech tree CV's that can do this). - 15 citadels (you can even do this in coop, take something with high dpm, maybe a DM, park broadside to a Mino, Neptune, etc. and spam away). - 7 cap / cap assists (gg ez) - 17 kills (just play, ez) - 65k xp (ditto) That's directive 1 done with 1 more than you needed. Directive 2. - 11.5m potential in BB (easy enough) - 15 torp hits (farmable in coop, so laughably easy even if restricted to cruisers) - 24 fires in DD (same) - 130k commander xp (easy, just play) - 15x top 5 xp (if you can't consistently score at least among the top 5, you have bigger problems than not getting the London) - 2k base in one battle (any decent player can pull this off at least once in a few battles). That's 6 out of 4 required. Not feeling the Puerto Rico grind levels so far, boys, gotta be honest... moving on. Directive 3. - 60 torps hits in a CV (again grindable in coop, so it could be 120 and it'd still be easy). - 1200 sec hits (if you don't have something like a Massa or Georgia, just take a german BB into coop and farm it quick and easy) - 20 module incapacitations (any he spammer will do this easily) - 24 kills (just play) - 5 mil credits (the credit missions don't look at your profit, as in earnings minus service costs, it just looks at earnings so the mission advances even if you lost money, making this very easy to do). - 6500 xp / 1 battle (if you have a few flags and camos this is incredibly easy. If you don't, I'd like to know your method of running out of them, I can't seem to manage this). Again at 6 out of 4 easily done directives. Totally a reason for a panic, the sky is falling, boys. Directive 4. - 45 modules in a CV (again, just play in coop until you get it). - 60 fire / cita in BB (just play until it unlocks, french or massa/georgia would do well here, but this can be done in any BB that's t5 or above). - 60 fire in cruisers (hopefully you don't only have italian and RN cruisers in your port?) - 50 torp in DD (farmable in coop, so yet again, laughably easy). - 30 mil potential (just keeps unlocking as you're doing everything else) - 30k base (if you play you'll do this anyway). - 1 confederate in 1 battle (if you don't get this in a single battle while farming the other directives above you're probably doing something wrong). - 180k in one battle (ditto). That's 8 out of 4 required. There is literally nothing to cry about here. If all directives were like the 3 dev strikes in one battle one, I could see your point, but this is very doable. I selected missions that are easy to do even if you don't have specialized premium ships that make it faster. TBH I'm surprised WG hasn't crammed "must be done in pan asian BB's" kind of requirements. There is nothing to cry about here, save your tears for sub release... edit: when I got home I realized there's no directive that requires you to get 3 dev strikes in one battle, you can just farm them one at a time, and getting dreadnaughts instead also counts.

My thoughts exactly, and the reason why I asked for a full list of directives. It's not like you need to complete them all, I for sure won't be focusing on 3 dev strikes in one battle, that one is under the "if it happens, it was one lucky meme of a battle" thing. Maybe if they let me do it in a Nikolai (but it's usually t5 and up).

    Here we go again

The only one that can be problematic are the credit earning ones for people who don't have the high tier premiums with camos and flags, but other than that, none of them seem particularly difficult. 20 fires or cits + 150k damage in one battle, just take a Smolensk out, that's 2 directives done. Also, these aren't all the directives, can someone screenshot them all? You just listed the ones you found problematic, but it's not like you need to complete them all... edit: yea the 3 dev strikes in one battle one is wg memeing hard. Can someone post the full directive list (not at home, can't look at it myself)?

So Many Needless Failed Raptor Missions.

Assuming they're planning on working on them at all, which is far from certain. Taking WG at their word is a shortcut to disappointment, so, my stance on this - I expect them to never return, and I'll be positively surprised if I'm proven wrong on this one. I'm just glad I managed to farm the hidden achievements in them before they nuked them.

    Bering Sea map

Speaking of convoys, something including them would be a good separate game mode for when subs come out. Perhaps have one team of DD's tasked with protecting a convoy, the other team of wolfpack subs tasked with destroying it.. Kind of like a PvP operation. I'd suggest just a normal operation as well but we know how WG feels about those...

Get Alaska or wait for Siegfreid

I personally find the Alaska boring so I rarely play her, but there's plenty of people that love the ship, so it's difficult to tell if you'd like her or not. That being said, WG has an excellent track record of gently nerfing german ships with a sledgehammer, so if and when the Siegfried comes out, who knows how strong it'll actually be. I'm personally not bothered waiting for it. If you're not convinced about any of the fxp ships currently on offer, just don't get them, there's new stuff coming, both Smaland and Hayate will be fxp ships, and will likely cost 1.5 million or more.

    British Heavy Cruisers: Branch Review

Ah yes, the good old soviet designs, the Battlestar Stalinia and the world famous battlecruiser Kalinjingrad. They would have been the best in the universe if only they had been able to build them, which is, coincidentally, the official motto of the Soviet Navy.

    British Heavy Cruisers: Branch Review

Don't worry, WG has a long term plan that will help you realize the new RU cruisers aren't OP at all. It's called "Soviet CV's".
