And so does Bearn. Ok. But literally every ship in this game can be played as a support ship. Dd's can just spot and smoke, cruisers also and then can screen Bb's with Hydro and Radar. No doubt about it. But, they will occupy the same spot as the other cv's therefore, could put teams at, sometimes, marked disadvantage. Those are good ideas if they don't rise the arcadery and gimmickery of this game. Still they involve a LOT of work and a) CVs still have gazillion of problems, which needs to be solved b) I doubt that Wedgie will devote too much work, let alone quality work into them. Yo no. Yes, but as I explained a purely support cv is not possible in wows. 1)you "need" some form of offensive capability, because economy reasons.2) people don't play Cv's because they can "support". People play Cv's to frakk other ships up.3) a specialized ( i.e like ASW) Cv has no basis because it is dependent on MM to deliver a target AND it could be and will be cast against a regular Cv. And then what? Bearn has the most legitimacy in this regard, but is problematic because it reiterate the problem with RTS cv's tho on a smaller scale. The only other variant is a "spotting" Cv. That what IRL the Tone class was in the IJN. Well..... we are not short of that sh%t mechanic in wows right? And still could be cast against a strike Cv and again, then what? A true support Cv is possible only if the rooster is expanded. But they can create an absolute retardness and then wait for people to ask for two cv's of different kind. Imagine how many people will ask for an additional slot if they will proceed with that sh%t.

Well.... the problem is with the basic settings of wows. Which is that of a tactical shooter, ergo to deal damage, to 'hurt" as much possible, while staying alive, as much as possible. So... a class which does not deal damage.........doesn't fit. Simply put, it is not possible to introduce such a class, in wows, without that stun idiocy. They tested the waters for that with Bearn, with probably disappointing results, in terms of sales. So.....support cv's will be dead on arrival without that retardness. And also the introduction of such class will require the reeework of the whole economy of wows and it will require an additional slot for them. Which means TWO cv's...... I'm very pissed, because they promised that they will look into the problems related to Cv's and they are breaking that promise. I kindly suggest to check up the firehoses.....

Good point. But wows don't have religious symbols nor references embedded in game, at least not directly. That being said, nobody wants to insult you or your religious beliefs Please take it as a form of....humor along the lines of other references like slaves, minions and gulags

The forward firing ASW's range. It is quite literally unusable. Also homing/not torpedo range should be more or less swapped. And ping defeating needs a separate consumable. Badly.

No. Indeed DFAA doesn't ramp up, however it ramps up AA which otherwise has a ramp up period. That's what actually does. If a consumable has no meaningful skill based impact than what is its purpose? Lol, autowin,? Otherwise the playstyle difference ( i.e planes) is not an issue if it is balanced out, by relevant factors. There are a number of ways to do it. The willingness is the problem.
