The thing is, most of the patches are fine. I have like 4 updates running fine, but the 5. is messed up just like this. This begin to happen in the last 2 years, and i didnt changed PC parts or internet provider in this time interval. So i am pretty sure its WG's fault. Oh, before i forget, my PC specs are Ryzen 1600AF, Asrock B450M Pro motherboard, Asus Rog Strix 1660 Super, 16 GB of Crucial Ballistix 3000, and i run the game from a Kingston SSD, in Full HD resolution.

Just a few thing what caught my interrest : So they dont plan to bring back Dynamo. Well, at least we get some back. Changing spawns : i would be happy with, that on some maps, i dont spawn with a damn island in front of me. Especially infuriating when in a slower battleship, takes eternity to get around. I wish they change that. Dirigable Derby : i, even as a PVE player, tried out and enjoyed it. I'd like to see it coming back again, only thing i would change is the T10 only restriction. Tier variety could be nice there. Just my 2 cents

I keep all T5+ ships for snowflakes. The more coal, the better, at least for me.

As you keep playing the game, you gonna get alot of commanders from events for different nations. Like the current web campaign had a 12 pointer as reward. Sometimes WG even has discounts on 10 pointer captains, 300 dubs instead of 1500. That can be worth it. Azur Lane ? Not that much. Oh, and you can get 10 pointers from Operations too.

75k coal. Rolled a thousand dubs, that gave me 13 tokens. If i think about how much time i need to gather 75k coal (82,5 with clan bonus ), and with the 90token i can get from the shop, i probably go for it, then i forget about the rest.

Probably Adrenaline rush and Halsey commander (his Talent is -20 % reload when you get Confederate, if I remember right ).

I wanted the flag too, estimated it around 15 mill, but seems it was a much wanted item.

Dont buy the AL commanders, try to save up coal and buy Gunther Lutjens from the Armory later. He is a very powerful commander, his talents can be activated very easily, and useful on all class of German ships ( idk about submarines, tough ). I use him on almost all of my German premiums. Since you have Scharny, you can play Narai Operation , ( Scharny one of the best ships there ) you can collect free XP there, and maybe get the Agir, which is a good T9 cruiser for free. You can also earn the normal Azuma for 1m FXP, so no need for the AL one. Besides, the Yoshino for coal is an stronger Azuma one tier higher with torps. I personally like the Pommern too, free for coal., lots of guns ( bit inaccurate ), torps, hydro, very good secondary battery, with Lutjens she's like a vulcano spitting out secondary shells. Here are the ( premium ) BB's with torps i remember : Germany : Gneisenau, Battlecruiser line from t7 up, Scharn normal and B, Tirpitz normal and B, Pommern normal and B, Odin ( not available ), Brandenburg, Mecklenburg ( steel only ) Japan : Mutsu, Kii ( great for credit farming with her Kobayashi camouflage ), upcoming Iwami USA : Constellation UK : Incomparable, i think the upcoming UK battlecruisers gonna have torps too If i forgot something, any one feel free to correct me. You can buy some premiums much cheaper at the Black Friday event, the B ones ( some of them not available anymore normally, like Asashio and Massachusets ). If you want to play PVP, then you wont learn anything against bots. I recommend you to have a few hundred battles in lower tier PVP for learning, many people bought T8+ premiums as a beginner and got their a**es handed to them in high tiers. Using them in Coop is completely okay though. Last advice : if you wanna spend money, best way to use is to only buy premium time . Yes, but some people like to charge head-first to a brick wall. Too lazy to read about the game, lazy to learn mechanics, etc. Was a thread few days ago where someone spent 25k dubs on AL commanders. Probably didnt read the description on them, since he thought they were special captains with enhanced skills. Half minute of reading, and he could have saved 25k dubs. On the other hand, sometimes WG's " misscommunication " or " translation errors " can mislead people too, see the Godzilla vs Kong collab. Myself, with the current global events going on, i fear a new global recession is coming, like in 2008. Maybe other here people gonna think this way too, and saving up money instead spending on heavily overpriced pixel boats, which gonna cease to exists one day anyway. Probably helps that i'm 40 and i'm left the " Want ! Now ! " mentality behind me long ago. But, and this is WG's only luck, there always gonna be impulse buyers with poor self control. I'm not against people spending their own money on whatever they want. But i saw examples many time when a money spent on something unnecessary was very needed later.

Most veteran players gonna spend less money in WG's thinking, since they accumulated alot of stuff through the year. On the other hand, a fresh player who doesnt know about " the golden times ", is more likely to spend money , especially if (s)he does not have knowledge about WG's monetizing strategies and schemes. And if the player is buying a T9 then got his stern kicked due inexperience, then leaves because of frustration, who cares ? Next one, please. But one day gonna be no " next one ". Auction house is a warning sign for me, selling old OP premiums for a fast buck. As for the old players, seems for me that WG actively try to diminish their * insert any resource here * reserve, to make them spend money again, which they less likely to do now. Thats why we probably got rework after rework lately. I personally would spend more money* if the game were closer to its 2017 state when i started playing, i really enjoyed it back then. But that wont happen, with the game took a trip downhill for me since a certain rework in 2019. Even more unlikely to spend alot now with subs added. I buy games on GoG, Steam, have Xbox Game Pass, etc. I dont mind spending money on games if i think its worth it.

We had these years ago already. They were in Operation Dynamo. Their speed was like Kleber on Speed Boost. Was a bit tricky to hit them with my Sims's 127 mm ballistic mortars

Convertable, yes, but i suggest to save your steel. Coal is much easier to get. Dailys, Supercontainers, Snowflake events, easy to gather coal. I'd personally would only convert steel if a coal ship is removed and i could not get enough coal in time. Edit :Sorry, misread, steel is convertible to coal, not the other way.
