Only played one game in her shortly after finishing the grind. Should probably play her more, because at least in that game she performed hilariously well. I just don't play that much T5. I suspect she's one of those ships that's overpowered in the right hands. If you have the situational awareness to put her guns to work while avoiding return fire, she's absolute murder. But she's also as squishy as any other RN cruiser and without a smoke screen to hide in, so she'll get spanked easily enough if anything with large calibre guns sneezes in her general direction. If you can play IJN CAs well, you can probably play the Exeter well.

Same for me. I would have picked up the T-61 and possibly also Vanguard if they hadn't been bundled with containers. As it is, I haven't bothered to buy anything so far this year.

I thought the 8 km torps were a nod to Siegfried basically being a Super-Spee. I don't really see the need for her to be in line with the more conventional tech tree cruisers in that regard.

The T10 economy is designed to be restrictive, to make you play other tiers to finance it, or pay for premium camos/premium time. That said, it's fairly easy to at least break even in T10 with some clan bonuses and a moderate use of signal flags. Slap on a Zulu and India Bravo Terrathree and combine that with the relevant bonuses from even a moderately upgraded clan base, and you should normally not lose a significant amount of credits at least. Depends on your use of premium consumables of course, but in my experience a lot of premium consumables can be had for free as rewards. I rarely have to pay for more than one type of premium consumable in a high tier match. I don't know if I can say I enjoy coop. For me it's a means to an end, e.g. lots of secondary battery hits, quick wins, torpedo hits/floodings etc.

Today's offer: Meh/10. If it had been just the T-61 at 50% discount I probably would have picked it up, but there are too many T6 premiums I'm just not interested in for me to bother with the containers.

Eh. There aren't any other coal ships really appealing to me at the moment, though. Might change if our legendary Germanic hero turns out to be a coal ship. Yoshino might be one of the first ships where I skip Concealment upgrade for the second rudder shift, though. That's with drunk gunners, though

Considering how much he bent over and lifted his skirt, I'm surprised Flambass didn't see that paddling coming a mile away, though. I mean, she's a cruiser, she's not going to be tanking broadside shots from a battleship. From Notser's vid, she looks interesting. I don't know if I can say she's well balanced, but I suspect she'll be a ship that I'll feel comfortable playing. She looks more interesting than e.g. the Alaska. If she's released for free exp, I suspect I'll pick her up over the Alaska. If coal.... eeeeh, we'll see. I'm still interested in the Yoshino.

If you have the coal, there's a better option, though.

She can bowtank in a pinch, but it's not really her forté. She's fast, got excellent AA and can really dish out the hurt in a short space of time with main battery reload: In short, she's a flanker. Yes, she's a bit of a cruiser killer, but those high velocity French guns have good armour penetration at close and medium ranges despite the smallish caliber, so if you can work your way around to the flank of an enemy BB she can do stupid amounts of damage. Her over the shoulder firing angles also aren't that bad, so she can kite reasonably well for a ship that's all front turrets. You basically just need to wiggle enough to unmask both turrets, fire and then turn out again. Time it reasonably well, and you'll bounce most of the return fire. Also, I would definitely go with expert marksman. She's the kind of ship that fairly often needs to switch her turrets from one side to the other, at least the way I tend to play her.

I vote no. I occasionally like to banter with the opponent who killed me, or just generally joke around a bit after I'm killed. On the rare occasion where someone abuses this, replays are enabled by default and you can submit a ticket. The advantage of doing that is that it has actual consequences that are isolated to the individual who's being a wanker, rather than just blanket making the game worse for everyone.

Probably just to not make the list look so small. The list of T5 premiums is pretty small since a lot of them are consigned to the vault of overpowered ships that WG would rather you just forgot about. I mean, they obviously don't want to include the Hill, since it's part of the current grind. Then you have the Kamikaze sisters, Giulio Cesare and Gremyashchy. The list of ships in these containers is basically what's left.

Including two versions of the same ship certainly doesn't help to make this offer attractive...

Took the Jean Bart out for a spin and bumped into @NothingButTheRain being an HE spamming noob in the Conqueror on the other team I spawned on a flank, and decided to use the Jean Bart for what she does best, namely flank and spank. Unfortunately, pretty much all of my team decided to flank around with me so yeah... that didn't work out too well Also, while looking over my screenshots I was reminded that I'd bumped into @sgtmarple a week ago, sailing the Lyon while I was in the Akatsuki. I seem to recall it was a pretty decent game
