    Dragon ship - wonky concealment

Is it with the same skipper? All three should have the same detection range given the same captain skills. And I think they only got the concealment and dispersion bonus, not the economic advantages.

    New black camo ships.

Gives a bit of a different meaning to the expression "that's a paddlin' " EDIT: Heh heh. You said "hooter". Heh. Anyway, I would like to put forward this as an alternative suggestion:

    Where are the balance changes?

Aside from CVs which are a complete trainwreck and a few premiums that they probably don't want to change for financial reasons, the game balance isn't that bad. To be honest, I'd rather they left things mostly alone, because WG's balancing changes tend to just wreck completely.
  4. As the topic says: How is Błyskawica after the reload buff? Considering picking her up for doubloons mostly just because I have nothing better to spend them or the coupon on, and it'd be nice to have a Pan-European ship available for occasional objectives.

    Sinop AP

It was actually way back in 0.8.5. https://wiki.wargaming.net/en/Ship:Update_0.8.5#Improvements_to_the_Game_Mechanics

I think penetrations on modules (turrets, secondaries etc.) now do 10% of shell damage to the main HP pool in addition to the module damage. Before you'd have penetrations that didn't deal any main HP pool damage at all. *goes to check patch notes*

Post-buff Błyskawica, is she worth it?

    Today, I think. https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/game-updates/update-0810-resolute-and-rapid/#armory
  8. This thread is about the new year's event (Puerto Rico construction directives) though
  9. Since it's based on directives you can at least to some extent complete it on your own time, unlike the Benham grind which basically required you to have the time to play on a daily basis. Of course, the directives might be absolutely horrible, but for now I'm keeping my torch-and-pitchfork collection in the closet.

How does a Shimakaze deal with a CV attack?

Leave it to the mods to take the fun out of everything Erm... except, in your game of rock-paper-scissors, which one counters the CV? The simple fact of it is that CVs can on any other class. They don't have anything remotely like a direct counter, since (unlike the other classes) they don't actually have to put themselves at risk to perform their role.

3-5-7 from wot is coming to wows

I've had a couple of all-T10 games lately, and quite frankly they've been fairly enjoyable. I can definitely see the point of limiting the number of top-tier ships when there is a bottom tier, but I think all-T10 matches are perfectly viable, and a good solution if there's overpopulation at that tier.

    ST - New Year's celebration.

Oh, I have no doubt in my mind that WG can easily turn this event to if they so please. I'm just keeping my torch-and-pitchfork collection in the closet for now.

ST - new German commander and test ships.

You're getting it wrong. It's not yet revealed how many ribbons you will need to get to activate the different talents, but I think we can be sure it's more than one.

    ST - New Year's celebration.

Since it's based on directives, it might be doable. The problem with the Benham grind was that it required playing on basically a daily basis, whereas directives can at least to some extent be completed on your own time. We'll see just how massive the directives are...

Your favourite T9 and T10 BBs

The only ones I have are the Yamato, Musashi and Jean Bart. They're good BBs, Brent.
  16. It's different, and thanks to the containers more random. Whether it's better or worse... well, that depends on (your luck with) the content of the containers.

    Now that you mention it...

Shoots teammate with HE -> turns pink -> Teammate keeps burning, but damage is reflected -> profitsuicide

Petition to remove the "provide antiaircraft cover"

Also, most semi-competent CV drivers have learned to avoid other CVs' fighter consumables. Usually if my planes get killed by fighters, it's by well-timed catapult fighters. CV fighter consumables are easy to avoid for anyone who hasn't completely turned off their minimap.

Petition to remove the "provide antiaircraft cover"

While OP probably could work a bit on general game knowledge, I do agree that the quick command might as well be deleted. It's a waste of time to actually move your squadron over to a friendly ship and then drop a fighter consumable on them, so just consider it a bonus if you happen to be in the right place anyway and you get some support that's actually useful. I mean, I'll some times dump a fighter squadron on top of a friendly if I see that they're about to come under attack anyway and I happen to be going that way. But any more than that is just a waste of time.

"Back to port" button - why does it exist?

I didn't even know you could go back to port while alive. I don't have a problem with this suggestion.
