There is a hidden message from Wargaming here. It says: "Go ahead and enjoy your summer. Like you are supposed to. Outside, in the sun. Not with some weird a*s summer tokens in a computer game."

Well, co-op is certainly the preferred choice. No way you'll have that session with 20% wins and 15 losses in a row. But it does not really pay very well if you have big economic bonuses to spend. So you have to look elsewhere. Random Operations seems sort of dependable but is obviously restricted it terms of available tiers. Losses do seem to happen quite frequently and to spend 15-20 minutes for 300 XP is a real downer. Random games is dead last for me. A painful, drawn out experience with no rewards and pitiful XP. Brawl is an option but risky as the 8000 coal only is awarded at the end of the reward chain. Might be worth it when the active tier(s) is more profitable than the active tier(s) for Ranked. Ranked does seem the best choice overall though. You'll still have those disgusting sessions which will last as long as your big economic boosters but at least you'll lose faster than in Randoms or so it seems. Also Ranked will provide rewards continually so it's not big deal if you don't have time to reach the final reward.

The Inca Trail: Almirante Grau in the Armory
Ulodwor replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
Ok... so I had 125 tokens from the missions. Decided to go for the random bundle instead of credits. When I selected 1 bundle the Almirante Grau icon was shown. When I selected 2 bundles a dice icon was shown instead. I selected 1 bundle and bought it. Then I was shown the Almirante Grau icon again but a larger version and congratulated on my purchase. Was a bit worried I had made a mistake and there would be a massive deduction of resources from my account. Maybe I had bought every bundle somehow even though that should not be possible. No, turns out the Almirante Grau was the only random bundle credited to my account. It's supposed to be a random draw so I guess it could happen. Still seemed a bit odd, maybe some sort of bug? So I figured I'd buy a second bundle. This time I was shown the "Ancestral Knowledge" icon before I bought the bundle and the "Ancestral Knowledge" bundle was then credited to my account. Which makes sense in retrospect. While it's quite the surprise you apparently can see exactly what random bundle you'll get next it's of course a welcome one. Lesson being that it might pay off to at least check what bundle you've been allocated. If it's the Almirante Grau then maybe make sure to clear some of those Inca missions to get the tokens needed. This may be obvious to the more experienced players but it would be an unfortunate noob mistake to make, especially since a newer player is unlikely to have very many premium ships. -
Supercontainer changes - Closed test 12.4 (DB 442)
Ulodwor replied to YabbaCoe's topic in Development Blog
For a number of campaign missions the rewards is two Supercontainers. Will these rewards be updated to four Supercontainers or remain at two Supercontainers? Will the number of of Supercontainers a player need to open before the bad luck prevention mechanism is applied stay the same or will this number be doubled? If the number of Supercontainers needed to activate the bad luck prevention mechanism is doubled, will the progress towards this number a player has accrued with old Supercontainers also be doubled so that each old Supercontainer opened will count as two new Supercontainers opened under the new system? -
Please do. Seems there are several cases where people did not get the last reward they were entitled to, whether it be coal or supercontainer. I was credited on the website with the points which got me past 400 fairly late, maybe an hour or at most a few hours before the deadline if memory serves me correctly. If other not being credited with their last reward also got their last points fairly late then perhaps the server state used to decide the reward was not the correct one but an earlier version which did not properly acknowledge late points achievements. Or something else to that effect.

Same here. Maybe it's a translation issue. It says "guaranteed reward" but actually it means "possible reward". Maybe you get it, maybe you don't. It's like of a lottery with hidden probabilities. Very exciting.
