    Of course not, because Lyon is really super easy to counter. Slow and yuge dispersion, very situational, fairly squishy, not the best concealment and the guns are not even that big. So all you need to do is just keep a little distance.

    What is actually needed is a massive rocket plane nerf. It is impossible to miss with these things and it is impossible for the target to dodge. Why do carriers have the godgiven right to always hit and never miss?! (What's actually needed is of course the removal of carriers as a playable class but hey.)

    It's also in the Aslain mod pack. But that is beside the point. Players have been asking for this feature literally for years. I've made it my mission to be a pain about things like these.

    Currently, in port, I can either zoom or turn the camera around the ship but not both. By default, it's only zoom. When clicking on a feature from the spec list, like a turret or what have you, and it zooms in, then I can rotate but no longer zoom back out. If that's intentional, I like it less than before. Although once you go through the dance, the camera movements seems to return.

    The game reset my lootbox Jaguar to the A Hull and stock GFCS. I only noticed when trying to sell them from the inventory.

    Also the fact that WG makes players OPT IN to enjoy a week of free Captain skill reset is the single pettiest, greediest, predator capitalist move ever.     UI is devastatingly sluggish. The worst ever. When the pre-battle team list comes up, it's slow like rolling down a window blind. In Port, the carousel takes several seconds to scroll to a ship selected from the tech tree. Seriously it gets worse with each "improvement". Disappointingly, also still no demount all signals button flag profiles / ship profiles decent contacts management and the more free commander resets we get, the more I think about how great it would be if you could reset individual skills instead of having to reset the whole build every time. It wouldn't even impact WG's bottom line, or if anything, increase doubloon spending because people would just do it so much more often. On the plus side, the howling of my chassis fan in port stopped yesterday, but that was before the patch and after my GPU driver update.

    No no no, to the contrary, it saves a bunch of credits since you don't have to buy the ships five times over. What people don't get is that this research thing is not for normal 15K battles potatoes but for the whales that just have all kinds of resources coming out of every orifice in thick, gloopy streams.

    Had this really good Iowa game, and right after a really poor Iowa game, too. One of these defeats that makes you question your whole existence and everything. Some good long range shooting, citadelling a Roon across the map. A fantastic brawl against a Musashi at the end. Possibly my personal Iowa damage record, besides a slew of achievements. Not only wasn't it enough for the Twitch mission. It wouldn't even have been enough for that @ducatibandit Ibuki on my team who did even better.

    https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/game-updates/research-bureau/ It says So what you do is, you click reset and the branch is completely rolled back all the way to Tier I. Now, to get the Research Points, you need one win on each ship of the line. But if you have a few tens of millions of Free XP lying around burning a hole in your account, you just Free-XP all the ships of the line, but you don't buy them. Instead, you immediately hit reset again. This time around, you would get twice the number of Research Points for one win. If you were to buy them already and start playing. But what you do instead is, you repeat this another four times so you get five times the number of Research Points for that one win with each ship of the line. Only then you re-buy the ships, play until you get one win in each of them, and presto! You now have enough Research points for your brand spanking new Colbert.

    Pro Tip: If you're swimming in millions of Free XP and plan to just Free-XP all the way to the Colbert anyway, you can just reset five times in a row without buying the ships, and then you get the quintuple bonus for just one single win with each ship. As just demonstrated on the Flamu stream.

    What the change has done is sent out CV players in force again. At the same time when they 1) extended the deadline for the Marine National combat missions into the regular French DD grind and 2) put really good things to buy with Republic tokens in the Armory. When 3) CVs are THE hard counter for smokeless French DDs. Sadism? Yep.

    As of course was know long beforehand, the AA changes do nothing about the fundamental problem with the CVs, which is that they are completely incompatible with the game's core concept. You still can't flank, you still can't take any kind of risky position, you still can't probe for an opening as soon as a semi-competent CV is in the game, all you can do is still blobb up. But now we once again get a super annoying message in the middle of the screen. This time it tells us to Push O for AA sector. ARE YOU *Edited* KIDDING ME?!

    Those Marine Nationale Combat Missions, that you can only do with the French DDs and that give 250 Republic tokens. Was it always clear that the deadline ended a week after the new patch, where you could grind the ships instead of praying for a ship drop? Or did they even extend the deadline? Because that is the feeling that I'm getting. You see, WG are singularly adept at ticking off their players. First they give them this exhausting grind, even after lots of complaints about the past few grinds being too grindy. They of course get more complaints about this latest grind being too grindy and them being too stingy with the ship drops. Which of course doesn't keep lots of users from grinding for the rewards because they think they only have until today. Then WG extend the deadline, and the rewards - you can now buy loads of silver, French Riviera camos and even Premium days for Republic tokensm beside the previously offered Permanent camos - thus creating another, even more brutal five-day grind. And all that of course at the same time WG release another AA update, so the CVs are out en masse to try and see if they can once again blap everybody without risk. When CVs are of course the main hard counter to French DDs, making this grind completely crazy. Sadism is really the only logical explanation.

    Yoshino is missing from the Tech Tree. Even though it is currently offered in the Armory. Also Marblehead,, Emden, Campbelltown, Duke of York, Gallant, Aigle, Prinz Eugen, Bourgogne, Jean Bart and I've probably missed some. All of which are currently sold through the Armory and should show up in the Tech Tree without any mods if I'm not mistaken.

    Well they did give Yoshino (and Azuma?) accidentally the wrong caliber AP shells. On the live server. Which was only rectified today. https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/game-updates/update-087-french-destroyers-part-2/#misc I'm more than ever convinced that there's still something wrong with the Missouri dispersion upgrade. Look at all the other shtuff they either didn't find or don't bother to fix, like when you get "turned around" while using RMB free look. At least the incessant clinking from the broken collision avoidance should be gone, if the PTS is any measure to go by.
