I don't tend to look so much at these, since a) I myself got me a year's worth of premium account at the last discount for around 60 Euros, where there is still no end in sight, and b) it would require more thinking to factor in some equivalent value for the different packaged items. That said though, I don't think there were any really appealing premium time bundles for the past six, eight months or so. There is bound to be one for Christmas, but what good is that if you want one now...

OK, time for another quick posting since Wargaming have dropped another discount on super short notice, this weekend only, adding up to 4,000 bonus doubloons to any purchase in the premium shop, depending on the amount you spend in the first place. https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/sales-and-deals/opportune-doubloon/ So, as you do, I keep trying to conceive of ways to tell myself this is a good offer ;-) although on the face of it, as with most incentives, if you blow 40 Euros on stuff you wouldn't have bought otherwise, just to get the 4,000 bonus doubloons, that would be a very expensive load of doubloons, at an exchange rate of a full Euro Cent per doubloon, when the regular rate is just about a third of that if you buy them by the (small or large) chestfull. And the first way that comes to mind is obviously to buy doubloons. If you enjoy this game and play it "seriously", you probably want to have at least a small stash of those to use for any number of things. Now if you buy 11280 doubloons, which would cost you exactly 40 Euros, you get another 4,000 doubloons into the bargain, so the exchange rate drops from 0.355 Cent per doubloon to a mere 0.262 Cent, which is a 26% discount. Sadly, ones that I currently find especially interesting like the Atago or Krasny Krim (don't ask), are not among them at this time. But others are. I've added an extra column to the "Gold for Ships" table of the spreadsheet, labelled "October doubloon discount", and will be filling those in by and by. Edit: The next obvious idea would of course be to now stock up on doubloons, then convert them into Free XP when the next conversion discount comes up, and use it toward a Musashi, Konshtadt, Nelson or whatever Free XP premium ship is available then and takes your fancy. At 35 Free XP per doubloon, the 15280 doubloons from this weekend would get you 534,800 Free XP.

All I know is I wasted a Benson in a knife fight in my Jervis as though it wasn't there, and any ship that players of my 'calibre' can do that in, is OP af. Do have a harder time making Acasta and Icarus work though.

For a week or two, I seem to notice lots and lots of people in mid and even high tier games driving around without camos. What's up with that? Now my mod pack has been acting up for about that long, so i triple checked, but unless something is completely screwed there, I shoulnd't have a mod installed that hides any camos.

You might also want to take it on the belt when damage con is on cooldown, since a bow hit is a guaranteed flood, which you could then not repair for the duration.

Another idea for Training Rooms: Make it possible to select premium ships (ideally all there ever were) as bots in the training rooms. At least as enemy bots.

Even with the premiums, I do not get the impression of any great imbalance on the Tier. Thinking about it, the only ships I'd feel somewhat uncomfortable about are Bretagne and Jianwei. Also I haven't really gotten the hang of Okhotnik yet. Probably will be using all the ships I have at some point.

Hi, as of the current update 0.7.9., a number of mods from the Aslain mod pack i use have just stopped working. initially I thought they had just not been added to the early versions of the pack but apparently that was not the cause, i got all the mod pack updates and the ones I am missing the most (Badobest Side Panels V.2 and Minimap by Autospy) still refuse to work. I already asked in the Aslain thread but all he could do was try my specific mod combination to see if they maybe interfere with each other, which apparently they don't. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the complete pack, having the installer delete the cached mod pack files, and performing a WGCheck a few times. If anybody has other suggestions this side of a complete game re-install, I'd appreciate it. Other mods that were always a bit flakey and currently don't work include "Navigator left side" and "Smoke counter centered". Disable login video, Dogtag Remover and the Score timer also broke but have simply started working again as of the mini patch to 0.7.9.1.

I agree. Kirov is underrated because she is especially weak when uptiered in Random, but in Ranked, with fewer ships overall to flank her, and only rank same tier opponents, Kirov could be brutal in the hands of somebody other than me, who is not positionally challenged. Even has very good AA for the tier. Personally, I shall make it my mission to ruin all the Kamikaze players' days in my sweet lil Emerald.

Also it definitely doesn't help that certain very well known CCs / Youtubers seem to be suspiciously lucky at the draw. I don't even mean to suggest there are shenannigans going on but it's just not a good look.
