After playing the hotfixed Haku a few games, heres what's up:
I will now get around 50k dmg at best. I could do more dmg playing a tier 3 - 4 ship. All squadrons feel like they only have 1 drop. You get one chance, then you get 10-planed (new term). After a few minutes you will see your reserves at 5/16 3/20 5/20 and you will think to yourself.. "k".
The hakuryu already had the most unfun squadron in game, the ap-bombers. The aiming reticule is not even close to being accurate, and dmg-wise it is a complete hit or miss either you do 0 dmg or you do 5k dmg, with no chance of damage over time effects.
Now with the fix, the torpedo bombers join hand in hand with the ap bombers as the garbage tier squadron, the attack run "loading time" is so immense, the torps so slow, that if you get hit by one of those torpedos you are afk. Also how are you supposed to dodge flak, when the aiming goes out of control so easily? Also I have yet to see a flood effect since the hotfix.
This leaves the Hakuryu with only the rocket attack planes with any sort of fun value. Which is also the type most despised by dd's I'd assume. But they die super fast now anyways so I guess it doesn't matter.
All in all, Hakuryu now has rocket planes for the first couple of minutes, you derp away your torp and ap bombers after one drop each. Now you are cruising around the map racking up distance traveled experience.
