Nie możesz tak sobie przenieść pd. WG co prawdę daje opcję zmiany ich w wolne pd za kasę (cebuliony) ale to dla frajerów opcja. Po za tym to dobrze, nie chciałbym w teamie Minotaura za pd z niemieckich panckow. Źle by się to skończyło . Po za tym to nie ten dział na pytania, @Dark_Havoc można by to przenieść?

It's deserved nerf to Thunderer even if not the best one. HE or fire chances should be looked at instead. Why cruisers have to choose between fires and pen when that BB has both and in absurd quantity? On the top of the range, concealment, hp pool, devastating overmatching AP, Def AA, fire fighting skills etc.

I play Neustra with torp build and I am OK with her but those torps are really stealthy while Kagero torps could use a bit of spot range reduction. Still I think that OP has made a mistake by not exploring joys of TRB Yugumo after poor experience with Kagero. It's so satisfying to blow 2 bbs for double strike with devstike on the top. It's not as poor as Kagero, it's much better (still not gunboat but guns do hit hard) we even play one in current clan battles and it's working surprisingly well. To be fair I play usually in a division as I am tired of random useless teams but even if I have to go to the other flank I am usually OK there on my own. You need a lot of situational awareness to play them with TRB. Even more if played without RL. And T9 mm is the sweetest now for dds.

That said you can of course successfully fight DDs if you are careful with whom, when and where you fight but better then Kagero guns are just an icing on the cake which is 16x 24k of damage in 12 km radius every few minutes ( although the closer you will get to launch the more you will hit).

Fight them only on your terms, with better support, closer to your team, kitting away, pick only unfair fights, then torp when they'll smoke, use RL to pretorp, use TRB to surprise with 3rd and 4th set of torps. Spot and survive. Cap only if you are safe to do so and if you know that team will be able to defend this cap, no point in loosing 75% of HP for a cap that will be lost in a minute. Ask for support in chat, spot and tag DDs and radars. Kagero needs all the help that team can muster. You have very low air spot, be where CV will not expect you at the beginning, later they will go after bigger targets, sometimes use your teammates AA, you also really, really should play CVs yourself to get what they can and what not to do to lolibotes, how to counter them or at least make them waste maximum of time on finding and killing you as sometimes you will die regardless like any other DD against CV. No, aki hasn't it. She has 1x4 = TRB that you should have too not useless smoke. Aki is OP a bit and gunboat -Kagero is ninja but Kagero with smoke is a turd, you need to play with TRB. For other DDs to bully you they need to see you - you have spot advantage so it shouldn't be the case untill some mistakes/bad luck. Guns do hit hard - shoot only once before breaking visual contact, do not go into prolonged fights. You nned to get your team to support you vs DDs - F3 them all the time when you will spot them, then steal the kill in a last second You have low gun bloom so you will go dark immediately. The only really bad situation is with good CV on the other side, but then all T8 DDs suffer from fun police. Learn to play very good with TRB then Yugumo will be a blast and a keeper, IMHO she's better then Shima and has nice T9 no CV MM.

Shima, Yugumo are still the best torpedo boats in game for torping fun in randoms with a torps that hit like a truck and great concealment. I play both often and I have a lot of fun and successful games. Especially recently with cruiser and radar population down. Unless there is a very good red CV - then EUs are better. Just from last week: But I don't see myself playing clumsy DDs with so slow torps like this new DOA for me line. They are in no way competitive against IJN torp line with those mines.

No, it isn;t. 11.1km range without on option to increase it vs T9 ships is a bad joke. Russian radars have longer range so yours smoke is useless as an open water farming cover and you can't farm from behind islands as well as nothing spotted will be in your range 90% of the time. As a top tier it's Ok but T7 are very rarely top tier nowadays. Edit: Forgotten to add that AA has been butchered as well with CV rework so you will be CV food in your AA escort cruiser

They sold me Sims as an AA platform perfect for farming XP in Operation Dynamo. And then they removed this operation together with Sims AA strength. So now I am left with very weak T7 DD facing T9 OP ships all day long, farmed by T6 CVs when not. Not nice WG, not nice at all. Why would I buy anything from them again?
