This. You can't sneak on your enemy's broadsides. Can't position yourself safely in the middle. Trying to flank is a bad idea. Playing on the edge of the concealment doesn't work either. Finally you often can't even run away to heal if you are low hp. But potatoes like it, no nasty surprises, clear vision, lots of inteligentne data and less torps from those little sneaky dd . And since those are the target customers things are going this way more and more.

WG should keep T4 cvs in queue for 4-5 minutes and then drop 12 vs 12 games once in a while, just for lols.

Best is goes into cap smokes denying any vision, then sits there broadside, finally eating torps, famous last words: noob team, no support. Last game I had one that was evolving, he has even left smoke, just to turn and go back there broadside right in time to eat torps and die. There is no other way, if you need a decent DD you have to play it yourself.

If I want to spam 12km torps TRB Yugumo is the best, If I want to play aggressively around caps and kill any DD in a few 1vs1s Neustra is the best. -
I am DD main and yet I have never managed to deal 80k hp damage to a BB with guns only within his 2 salvos, especially to the one covered in a such balansed armour nor any DD did this to me when I was playing BB. Probably some other ships were shooting as well at you.

Because why not? Aren't DDs a counter to BBs? Were you shooting AP? Next time switch to HE. Besides haragumo can outgun even his natural counter - a cruiser.

It depends what is more important for you, carrying games or farming damage. Anyway I will try. T8 Hipper or Tallin. T9 Seattle. T10 Zao and for me personally Wooster (I am potato with it much worse then with Seattle) I likeed Italians from t8. I haven't played yet British heavies but those seem to be good at farming at least but poor at carrying so maybe Goliath would be second close. But for me it's Zao, she has been really badly power crept and has no survivability with pathetic health pool., it really needs to be buffed after nerf to the UU.

This. I play aggressively for a win, if my team decides to die I will not be bothered to farm damage and XP. I will die quickly too and let one of my team mates to keep the star (if anyone manages to beat me) and play another game.

I have a solution for you OP. Just play shima yourself, do nothing every game and keep the star anyway. Simple.

As a DD main I would rather dislike it if radar and hydro wouldn't work through islands. Now I can simply anticipate it, wait it out in cover or bait it. I would hate to go out of island cover straight into radar without the clue how much longer it will last or when it is on a cooldown. Fully agree on WG profit driven dirty milking ways.- 109 replies

Początkowo grałem z dymem, ale zbyt często ktoś mnie na ślepo w nim psuł mocno, (dzięki WG za aimbot na minimapie) więc zacząłem grać na radar, tak jak gram Edinburghiem. Mino co prawda jest jeszcze miększy, ale po to są w końcu wyspy, a radar pozwala polować na deski i wygrywać bitwy. Wkrótce dead eye będzie wywalone, to będzie trochę mniej stresująco. Fakt, że ostatnio mniej gram solo, więc radar się bardziej przydaje niż dym, bo jest komu strzelać w wysportowane niszczarki. Gra na radar wymaga dobrej znajomości map i zwracania uwagi na pozycje okrętów przeciwnika, oraz czytania i przewidywania przebiegu bitwy, ale dostarcza dużo frajdy, a nie jest to duża różnica względem innych radarowych krążowników, które też potrafią zebrać od pancka z 20km pod każdym kątem (no może sovieckie nie, bo balans).

Siłę Worka najlepiej widać w klanowkach i KOTSach, tyle tego pływa, że aż musieli go zbanować i teraz nie widać ich dlatego 🤣

W tej grze od jakiegoś czasu, już tylko ciemny lud wydaje kasę, więc oferta taka byłaby świetnie przygotowana pod klienta docelowego, rzekłbym.

The whole line is very good and strong with the only exemption being Neptune due to appalling concealment and smoke firing penalty. I mean not BB level good but very good for silver cruisers with AP only and glass hulls. Not good for farming huge damage numbers but able to win games by supporting DD close to the cap with hydro and radar at higher tiers. It's my favourite line and a few small nerfs will not change it.

Why comparing DPM to Haru but concealment and manoeuvrability to Kita? It's a bit cherry-picking.

But before you'll get that close to be able to shoot something in a current snipers meta you will be most likely spotted by DDs/radar/CVs (because AA cruiser meme) and dead before you'll stop, even if not, when smoked still you can be spotted by them or flushed out of smoke by torps and don't get me started on how easy is to blind fire into smoke that you need double cover in a form of a smoke and island especially that after your smoke runs out you are in a big trouble if you had to go farer from islands (and on some maps you must to be able to hit anything with that range). But the worst of all is to be on a pushing flank, when all enemies are running away from your pathetic range, smoke and islands are most time of no use in this situation and you can either do nothing or chase them and try to farm a bit of damage (that is if your shells are faster then they're running away) and be obliterated in next 10 seconds because all will focus dumb cruiser leading the charge and being the closest spotted target.. You need good Mm and special kind of stupid on enemy team to do well nowadays in Flint and even if there is never-ending supply of speshuls it's a poor shadow of a former glory and frankly I wouldn't spend now steel or even coal on this boat unless mainly for T7 operation where she still is a very stronk ship with a heal from repair boat. Also Atlanta has radar, not the best range and duration but enough to kill or cripple a DD plus extra turret, till now somehow smoke/radar were balanced against each other with obviously Flint performing better due to availability limited to good players only.

Leander is good but far from being OP, Fiji is a bit more than good so maybe it's deserved nerf, but Edin? Not that I care much as I play her with radar anyway. All this is typical spreadsheet balancing, UK CLs are very hard to play well and most players will not touch them before they git gut as playing glass canons with AP only requires skill. That probably makes them look better than the others. This and BBabies crying about smoked cowards with torps farming their broadsides.

It's indirect reload nerf. WG knows that potatoes will take range mod. HE should be nerfed but it is bread and butter for all 45%WR I DID 100k DAMAGE! (no matter that enemy healed 75k out of it). -
Percentage based it is still more then 0.5s for Petro and range buff is still less then it was with old AFT. Add AA nerf since cv rework. IFHE rework nerf and it's like beating of a dead horse. Not that I care as with current MM Flint is just a port queen like most of my T7s. All those OP special T9s are just laughing when seeing Flint on the opposite team. Edit : Cash ship Atlanta got 13.3 range without reload nerfs. But some will say it's raining when being spat in a face
