With Torp Tubes Mod 1 and torpedo acceleration you get 68knots with 9.6 km range I´d say 68 knots is pretty good Your concealment is 9.9 with conceal expert Surely you should be able to fire torps at some (enemy) ship sailing your way (while you are sailing out of harms way/kiting (yes, I know the angles are s__t)) Look around (not zoomed in with scope) before firing the damn torps so as not to damage friendly ships Just saying Some sort of more visual/audible warning would be useful, I agree on that, you would need to click on his ship on minimap, no time for typing names and stuff, quick warn or something and the player getting torped would need a large visual warning mid screen, good luck getting them to implement that in game Cant comment on that.. IMO, game is as it is so you need to adjust and adapt, you deserve the penalty, hopefully it will teach you to look around and see what is happening before using torps

Yes IHFE with 100mm jap guns (37 mm pen) and the 32 mm on tier 8-10 BB:s not to mention the insane damage they do to lighter armoured ships One could argue that a fire is a good followup to a torp hit (potential flooding) or vice versa but the IHFE is more useful

I dont see the problem, it has good and bad sides, play with its good sides and it should work

I was in that situation when I grinded my first line, BB:s all the way.. British line.. got to the Lion.. I was prepared.. superheal, flags etc.. had even viewed Flamu playing Lion on YT Torps, CV:s, radars, HE spam, not to mention the multitude of unknown ships touching me all over.. Was losing creds every game.. Horrorshow winrate.. Even now my total winrate is classified (JK, you can look it up) I will probably never recover.. With a bit of hindsight it would have be better to play all types of ships and stay around tier 6 for at least a thousand battles before slowly moving up in the tiers

You could always buy a Pommern which is a much better BB except for speed however... It doesnt work like.. I got killed by a Gneisenau I must get one, My Gneisenau got murdered by that Tirpitz (must get one) (great secondaries) My Tirpitz is useless against that Pommern.... etc... You dont know the strengths and weaknesses of your opponents You have no idea how to position You need more games and experience

T5 decent AA ? Texas, König,? Yeah being the punch bag and taking pressure off the team can pay off but is a bit boring Only cruiser with a tad of AA is Hawkins and it is total crap It would for sure (or nerf it into oblivion instead)

I used to play PT (cos CC:s recommended it) but swapped to PM and found I did way better with it However taking into account the : " it can tell you how hard the enemy has reinforced that flank before most of it has been spotted (you get spotted either by the enemy DD, radar, or planes, there's a difference to you being targeted by 3 or 6 people). When you combine this information with the enemy lineup and experience, you can usually already tell where their certain key ships probably are (radars, most of all) and play accordingly. It's way more than just knowing how many are trying to kill you at any particular time " I may be on a different level now and possibly make more use of PT so I will be giving it a try

Yeah for sure the protection module but I always use PM and skip the PT, find that if I am spotted and not behind some island pretty much everyone is shooting at me anyway (at least they should be) To me its a wasted point if it isnt the last one available Survivability expert is also a must have skill (2100 extra HP ) This is my Hatsu

I dunno, CE is a no brainer you must use your excellent concealment. RPF is useful (so as not to get into gunfights/detected) Do you have Last stand ? Rudder shift is also a useful uppgrade AA is better than most but still useless (better leave it off until you get spotted and turn off as soon as he goes away) Somehow I have 7% better winrate in Hatsuharu than I have in Fubuki (that is with 228 battles in in Fubuki and 218 in Hatsuharu) When you get to tier 8 Akizuki all your grinding begins to pay off

It would also affect skilled players, but why not Bigger problem tho is high tier premium ships, noob players with 65 battles of game experience in a tier 9 ? Pommern, Ägir, Azuma, Friesland, Alaska and Georgia can all be bought (not to mention a load of tier 8)
