For some reason I have noticed that russian ships don't have any of the weaknesses like getting your torp tubes disabled or (for battleships) having your gun turrets disabled. Even sub_octavian mentioned on reddit a little while ago that they may have gone a little bit overboard with the russian bias thing. It seems to be going in a similar direction to WoT: The russian tanks being the easiest and most braindead units to play, just yolo in and brawl. Or at least none of the other nations seem to be this easy and straightforward to play. To me this is a bit of a letdown tbh.

No ARP Yamato or ARP Musashi? :| I hope there will at least be some of the ships for free (or for a grind) as right now it will be ... difficult for me to spare any money on anything that does not have to do with any of my primary livingneeds like paying my rent and getting enough food and upkeep for a basic internet connection BUT at least WG did it

I know it won't be popular to say it, but personally I like Epicenter. I don't like the newer version with the independent rings though. I like the old map a little bit more (with the 2 larger islands to the right side of the minimap) as it involved thinking, whether or not to go there and with whatever you would find, try to make the best of it. I do like the snowstorm on this map, even if it looks a bit unnatural. But most of all, stating that your teammates are dumb is the dumbest reason to delete a gamemode. It will not solve their stupidity. This mode is different, and this will actually make people think. Sorry that not everybody likes to think but as a human being we are supposed to think. The human species has thinking in it's name even, so lets not dumb things further down.

How does this despawning exactly work anyway? You aggro the enemy fighters and then fly out of their combat zone and they magically disappear or something?

Yes, and now you have to play for 10 months and get all 3 of the daily mission reward thingies instead of just buying 30 slots for a whopping 2250 doubloons

I have never noticed the aiming-dispersion get worse once someone touches the border. I hardly ever see anyone do this. And if someone does, the movements are pretty predictable anyway. If my teammate doesn't know how to hit a target then they either have to smarten up or let me farm all of it alone but either way I don't really care if someone else lacks this kind of 'skill'

So how many BBs and how many CCs actually have a catapult fighter according to you? Because there are lots of ships with and without regardless of which of the 2 classes. I still think your point is moot as it has everything to do with the consumables and nothing to do with the ship class unless WG starts making BB AA mounts artificially much worse by for example giving the same mounts on BBs vastly lower hp or something like that. By nerfing DefAA, WG made DDs basically defenseless against carrier attack. When the rework started, I could at least spec for an AA role but this is now absolutely not worth the tradeoff.

There is only one single PTS server and it is Russian.

Wrong. It makes every ship with a cata fighter (including cruisers) more effective at the AA role than any ship with DefAA. But this has everything to do with DefAA being kinda terrible now and has nothing to do with BBs. It's the consumables.

So you were talking about only the cv fighters and not the surface combatant cata fighters even though these themselves remain unchanged? Wouldn't hurt to talk about this anyway

This could be solved by creating a similar mechanic like the DefAA one, where you can manually shut it down before its timer runs out, so the cooldown runs out earlier as well. So one could also 'retract' their cata fighters if there's only 1 or 2 left. The 1 or 2 surviving cata fighters will make a small difference in the end and any positive difference is a good difference imo. Perhaps the suggestion to make the fighters ignore eachother is the way to go? Or at least make surface combatant fighters and carrier fighters ignore eachother.

On the flipside, perhaps it will make BBs push a bit more, thereby aleviating some of the "BB camp inthe back cowaahds!!" flak they get. Personally I would actually like a premium CM, but at this time my financial situation is not so good and I have to literally scrape everything together so I can at least get enough food on the table (quite literally). And for me, CM is all about dodging incoming (mostly BB) shells and the speedboost really helps there. CM torps are basically just for show and the MBRB is definitely nice, but imo not as critical as the speedboost is.

This one here: The icon that normally indicates there is something waiting for you, usually the recruitment station or a daily crate. But now the PR in the dockyard icon is doing the same thing. And I really liked this icon as it indicated something useful to me. But this here is just annoying as there doesn't appear to be any way to, well, click it away or something. And I sure as hell am not gonna let wargaming annoy me into spending 25k doubloons to purchase this thing. But really, if this is some kind of psychological trick to try and coherse me into spending 25k doubloons for a ship I already decided was not worth it to me by using a port ui component which is usually used for a different purpose (some kind of "good news" conditioning, or whatever), then in my opinion this is really starting to move into pathetic territory. Because I already been in the dockyard and claimed everything that I had waiting for me. or is there some way to disable this here now? Perhaps I missed something?

I think Zheng He would really be deserving of a ship named after him. His 7 voyages (especially the ones towards afrika) are a real treat to any explorer's imagination
