This operation is probably my favorite operation to play, the one I enjoy the most. I can do well in any ship but I like this one with carrier the most. Been playing KW with carrier from long before the rework. A win is not guaranteed. 5 stars is probable provided you do get a win (often it will be a 4 star due to exiting too early or a ship entering the port) but this one is actually carryable as a solo player as long as the rest of the team is at least decent. Ryujo and Ranger are my favorites here, but Furious can also have some nice games though usually I don't perform this well with her. All my teammates here received a +1 from me except the prematurely exploded Nürnberg

The 200% camos are quite useful. And I think they also look pretty good. These free boxes virtually never contain any ships. Sometimes they will contain some other useful stuff. I'm still running on premium time I received from my xmas gift boxes that I got from last xmas event. Otherwise I would probably have played a whole lot less right now, especially since these camos + premium time + narai make such a lovely combo

I remember a similar thing being said about Musashi around its release time. It was supposedly just a worse Yamato. But what they missed was that Musashi being a tier lower also makes the enemy team have 1 ship be a tier 9 instead of a tier 10 and this is where the major differense lies. And also you will still get the occasional (and not quite unoften very unoccasional) tier 9 game where you can get to be the top dog in the rabbithole

I think this assumption and this conclusion are both correct. I went with SMB1 in the 3rd slot for the 20% extra secondary range and all the rest I'm using a tanking build on the ship along with Halsey or Doe with a standard tanking build. I decided to go with DCSM1 instead of the 50% extra speedboost upgrade as I find the extra tanking ability more useful provided I use my speedboosts a bit more selectively (like I have done with Rich and JB in the past, so I am already used to this playstyle).

For me the chat function is vital for my ingame experience. If there were no chat at all, then I might as well play a singleplayer game as I prefer to spend my time in PvE anyway

I have been reported by someone in the operations channel (the person even mentioned this and no he was no friend of mine) but I had checked and I didn't even loose any karma for this. To me it seems likely that some types of words would have to be included for the "report for bad chat" report function to well, function The latter thing may be true actually, especially if the div chat is used to 'debate the potatoness of certain teammates' which ends up being the cause of some of the divmembers to call out the potato in the open. I can imagine that in such cases div chat does count? But I don't know whether or not this is the case at all. I don't know how their chat function works except for some bits of information.

Same thing here. But I usually don't loose my composure anyway and just report+blacklist them so they need not bother me again. Tbf, yours isn't all that great either. Or at least on the forums it isn't.

Potatoes who tryhard to be obnoxious will simply end on my blacklist (like someone who got blapped by the Mo because he apparently took too much risk or did not read the warning sign the Mo was targetting him and started accusing the BBs for hiding in the back while the BBs were actually literally to the left and the right of the Mo when he got killed). And I don't even put everyone who is being a nuisance on my bl. Can also block ingame messages like I did with some Tirpitz in my coop match yesterday who was apparently testing out his pingspam keys. Still did not put him on my bl but I did block his ingame messages. Potatoes usually won't listen, so it's better to not try and argue with them. They are dumb for a reason and if they hadn't been as dumb as they are, they probably wouldn't have been playing dumb in the first place And besides, in the middle of a battle is a bad time to start an argument anyway.

Can't report someone who is in your own div and also nobody else can read it. So seems unlikely these were reported by anyone

It's actually very useful to use the cxp signals on ships with 19pt captains as this way you will generate more ecxp

SOme good tips have already been given. My personal tips to add in addition to (or to complement the) tips alraedy here, I'd advice you to watch some vids of some of the best streamers in a language you can understand (which in your case should at least be English). Flamu is a favorite of mine as he is a good player and he is known to speak his mind when he plays. If he has a speciality which most other streamers (and certainly most players) seem to lack, it would be Flamu's great positioning. He knows where to be and when. And he knows how to read the minimap. Obviously it will help if you know which exact ships can overmatch which other exact ships. But this is not needed to become >50%. I don't even know which ships can overmatch which ships and my winrate has basically never been below 50% (except once it dropped below 50% when I had like 50 or 100 battles in total lol). Flamu has some good vids on youtube. Personally I like the Iowa one but it is kinda dated by now. There are some other good streamers out there and Flamu certainly has his own quirks (he can be a bit salty at some times, but overall he is very reasonable and he will seek mistakes within his onw gameplay instead of trying to blame something else and imo this shows character. And stuff like this you can also learn from. Another tip is to div up! Especially with 1 or 2 reasonably good players, it will make your winrate go up. This may not necessarily be THE best tip ever for to increase your winrate, but you tried for a long time and have played almost as many battles as I have, so at some point you need to try something new. Divving up will help your winrate go up in a perhaps somewhat artificial way BUT it will also help improve your gameplay as you have people with you that you can learn stuff from Anyway, here are 2 of my humble suggestions
