I always try to give away all of my karma each day. I usually don't succeed but forumites usually get a +1 from me and also opponents who turned out to try and be as big as a pain in the rear as they could also receive a +1 from me because I believe they deserved it. I also always try to give more +1 than give negreps, but sometimes a group of people deserve the negreps

I actually sued to do this with some people I played often with in the past, mostly to compensate for negreps we had received earlier in the day. You do make a good point about not letting people know that gaining more karma gives a slighly elevated chance at receiving a super container

Correct. This time I will get the short end of the stick as I could have 10k more steel by now if I had not gotten Black about a year ago. But you know what? The same thing I saw with the most recent arp event, several people were not as pleased as I was about finally being able to GRAB MEH SAM! !!!! (link to topic) I understand perfectly well where this is coming from and what emotion it is. It is some form of disappointment, having worked for much more and later others can get it cheaper (but I will state that this grind I pulled off was far from trivial). Same thing now, with the main difference being that this time I am on the opposite side of the fence. Am I pissed? Well yes, kinda. Mostly because of the steel I have a harder time collecting which will now be somewhat wasted. But I understand the other side perfectly, getting a unique ship for some resource that is much easier to get (particularly for the more casual players out there). I can accept this. But obviously, if I had known this beforehand, I would have gone for Stalingrad or Bourgogne. EDIT: also just look at the polish tier 7 DD with name that is impossible to remember for most human being It was sold for cold hard cash and I didn't get it. Now it's available for coal and I could get it if I wanted to and I can understand someone who bought it previously would be somewhat vexed because of this. We can't always all be lucky, but I also understand where this is coming from. So I can accept this.

Which color did you pick?

I think WG did it right this time. I even recommended my friends to press the button or at the least purchase at least 1 of the Kongos as there probably won't be an opportunity to get a premium version of it post-arp event (or at least not for a while to come) and to then simply pick the one with their favorite color . One seemed somewhat uninterested as his interest in warships has been waning for a while now. One other doesn't have a lot of time and may choose to not start this commitment, but he may at least purchase one of the Kongos as he also liked this ship. I even send screenshots of my arp ships to them as I am, yes I am biased in this regard! But in the end I let them choose for themselves because I prefer them making up their own minds.

Reading stats is one thing, but correctly interprating is a whole other ballgame I don't think they need a tip on how to create surveys. I get surveys on a somewhat regular basis. I also recently received one which was asking a lot from me (and I mean literally) but I ended up not completing it as I was at the time worn down for the PR event and simply not motivated enough to help out. Usually I do fill them in completely.

Exactly this here Makes these missions and directives completable in operations and more people will swarm the operations channel, as wargaming should be able to detect on their own already. Many people play for the rewards. For wargaming it should be relatively trivial to increase operations rewards, there we go. Think of all the Scharnhorst sales they get for 'free' due to narai for instance. I got Sims and Cossack for operations. I barely ever play Scharnhorst in randoms nor in coop but for ops it's a staple. Wargaming sold 2 extra Scharnhorsts at the very least because I recommended them and mostly because they are so good for farming tier 7 operations. I don't think operations supposedly being not popular enough is the entire story here.

Much better to get rid of it quickly as not everybody who has cv duty proves to be up for the task Or at least damage it as it can be citadelled and dispatched more easily once it emerges when having left the harbor. It's all about teamwork

And of course nobody who plays ranked does it only for the steel

Got only 6 of the factories. My teammates kept shooting them from under me . Carpet bombers work much better then the (slow) rocket planes. They must have thought I had gone nuts when they saw me totally ignore those transport ships

And even if you don't go for the grind, it may be worth to buy one of the Kongos as there typically is not a premium version of.

The operations channel is teeming with life. But in the end it's not our decision alas.

My favorites were in no particular order: Sunray (halloween ops), Narai, Hermes, Dynamo, Killerwhale and Cherry. Especially since most of the removed ones were some of the newer ones in the first place, operations that were introduced when the tier 6 operations were already being played for a while. I'm not sure how uptiering would work, but downtiering could also be interesting for some kind of hacked hardmode whatever thingy

I have always liked the Colossus class aircraft carrier. But with the current state of carriers and a significant portion of the old tech tree carriers still missing, I doubt it will be a good idea to introduce more new ships of these types.

Most people who play more often will typically play with set-up teams and not with random plebs anymore. The ability to do the missions (like setting fires) in ops was nice though, but when it's the weekly I often just do stuff like trying to torp that cartoon ship and basically totally abandoning Raptor or trying to see how many fires I can set in killer whale without even considering stuff like it costing me damage. Perhaps this evening will try to focus the factories before we get a new weekly tomorrow. Or rushing the 2 BBs that spawn at 12m and 8m top left and see if I can kill it with secondaries with my Graf Lidelin (furious, lol). It's just all routine by now, I can 5 star narai drunk lmao. People don't need to be serious all the time

Same thing here. I mostly am active again due to the ARP ships, the 200% we had last week and because I got some free premium time. But randoms? What for? It's just the same poop over and over again. Coop? That also gets boring. Operations is the most interesting as it involves much more interaction between players, esepcially if they start getting to know each other. I can barely stomach ranked and clanbattle is nice mostly because of my clanmates. And ops not being as popular anymore may also be due to it becoming boring after having half of them be removed a jear ago now.

Btw, I'm ok with them trying to prevent these long range shell jukes by first sitting stationary till some shells are on the way, then speedboosting either forward or backward to completely dodge these shells. This was kinda weird. But they should at least keep its movement characteristics at full speed, like how much speed it bleeds when making a turn. But why did you think it needed a nerf to begin with?

Getting a 5-star win in narai 3 times in a row with just 4 random people in total at 3am. lol
