This position used to be good, but nowdays most ships pass along the other side of the elongated island so now I think something roughly G8 would be better. And totally play agressive there when ina BB. Agressive and smart Only play more passive as a BB when your team already had many casualties and you need to play conservatively in order to just get a win when things turn to shat

Just now noticed it was a div. My guess is that whoever was on tp duty got sunk and the div amongst themselves decided for the scharnhorst to (even though it will usually be too late by that time) use his speed to try and catch St Clair. I doubt this was just a standard potato. And the original one on CV duty was sunk at D8, so this is probably why the Lazo was so late to go after the CV. And if the F5 wreck is from the Mo, it was sunk very late. It was probably a bad team. It seems the Akatsuki was sunk at E7?

Did the Lazo at the least managed to get rid of the Phoenix before it comes scratching all of your backs?

Seems like a failed chase to catch St Clair to me. Can go full speed provided you know when to dodge the torps.

It's very common for the 1st DD to launch its torps. You just gotta not be at that spot around right before the 2nd set of ships spawn (the brit BB, 1st Emerald and the 2nd DD). Yes, I've seen worse. Even seen one of our transports get stuck at J1/I1 Usually when playing BB, I will hold my fire till the first enemy BB shows his citadel and shoot him and leave the cruiser for the others. If I get the chance to fire a good salvo on a DD witha BB (even with AP loaded), it usually pays off to shoot the DD. These DDs are very low tier so you will still cause a lot of damage to them.

Of the tier 6 ops, I find KW the most enjoyable. Raptor I actually find fun as well but it's hard to succesfully complete it with a group of random plebs (especially if the exit spawns south). Aegis is definitely not hard, but I don't enjoy it as much as I do KW or Raptor (though I do like how doable it is). Defense is kinda like what Ultimate Frontier was at tier 7, hard and very succespable to fail due to overpotatoing. Of the tier 7 ops I liked Hermes and Narai the most. Dynamo was awesome partially because it was so action packed and because it could be done with smaller groups, making it easier to succesfully communicate and more comfortable to create a 'full' group. This almost felt like calling a bunch of best friends to go hang out at the bar together Having a group of 4 is (and I know this is very easy to get in a wrong or funny way, hue hue) a bit more intimate compared to a group of 6 and playing something that is repeatable makes for more higher quality chat during the very brief 'pauses' during a round of ops. It was not just the rewards or the economical benefits, it was also about building something more then just another 19pt commander.

I'll give you some xamples of this. For instance a BB eating all the torps from the 1st DD (easily avoidable). A Fiji eating the torps from the 2nd Emerald (and not even bothering to activate hydro or at the very least be aware of the torps when trying to rush the Mo). 3 DDs rushing the enemy transport ships (yes all of them). Staying behind our transport ships the entire time (especially when you're a BB or DD). Going broadside to the Mo, getting deleted by the Mo and then accusing the BBs of hiding behind an island while they are at that very moment literally within 500m of the Mo (one was a Scharn who was torping the Mo as he crossed between the small island and large island with the turret, before making the final turn to ram our transports). When being the last ship alive (especially when in a BB) in the team but with full hp, ramming the last Colorado when its at like 5hp and causing a loss because all teammembers died. Going for CV but then ignoring the DD and Phoenix who then come bite us from behind When during the final battle, dakka ships who focus BBs and ignore the DDs who then procede to torp our BBs A DD going to torp Mo and then missing with his torps because he doesn't know how Mo moves. It's not about fracking up, but about being totally ignorant (and bonus if this potato tries to start a post mortum flame barrage).

And to add a little bit to this, there was an increasing amount of people who would afk for the 5 stars or steal transports or try to well, take command and order us around or people who would just be overall toxic and ruin it for everybody else. Why would we want to play with these luggables if we can easily exclude them? This game is kinda made for divisioning so why not make use of this? It's just uncarryable with this many potatoes out there and a waste of my precious time

If things will be like with for instance the US cruiser split, chances are that you will get a permacamo for both new tier 10 ships. But don't quote me on this, I have no way of knowing for sure.

The funny thing is that this did remind me of what WG did in WoT a couple times, removing a tech tree tier 10 and making it an (otherwise now unavailable) premium tank and replacing it with a new tank. Though Moskva will (according to what I have understood of this situation) stay available for coal in the armory instead of becomming totally unavailable.

I like both ships. They tend to have very similar mobility. JB seems to be a bit easier to catch fire with and its dispersion seems to be a bit worse compared to Georgia. Georgia is also a liiiitle bit faster, but JB otoh has the MBRB. Both have seemingly similar secondaries and AA, though Georgia also has a cata plane which is of otherwise limited use imo. But what imo makes the Georgia sliiightly better then JB is the fact that Georgia heal has a shorter cooldown, so it's harder to spike a Georgia to death. But all in all, I can recommend the JB, it's a fun ship to play! JB definitely gets my thumbsup!

The new map is interesting in a way, lots of small island near 1 of the caps. I haven't played the left side of the map yet (always spawned right side of the map the times I got that map). What I do kinda miss is that what makes the lower tier maps so unique: They tend to have at least 1 larger landmass, or 2 larger landmasses.

It is! I had great fun playing through the remaining grind of Fletcher recently! It took a little while before I gitted gut, but I got gut in the end!

You can thank the outcries of the DD main community for crying BB masterrace bias when it comes to FXP and coal ships having been mostly BBs and CBs. And now we get a flood of FXP DDs which imo isn't actually a bad thing by itself btw. And btw, I'm more surprised they aren't removing Alaska yet

Try Richelieu and if you like the Rich, you will most probably like the JB
