I'm not so sure about that. It seems that people keep on playing despite these forest fires we've had since a year or so. ^this. Exactly this. In games such as these, I tend to set my own goals and see what --> I <-- can get out of this game. If I can get certain ships that I want (like Yamato and some ARP ships) then I will use the opportunities that are given to me. I really wanted Alaska badly and I managed to get her, even without having paid anything for her and I'm thankfull for that. Obviously WG wants money and I'm fine with that, but I want to be able to have some fun in any game that I play and for this having lost most operations (or half, as things stand right now) has made the game more stale for me. One of my friend's interest in the game was already wavering lately but he was really disappointed about narai having been removed. One other friend though doesn't really care much for operations so he keeps on playing for now but he otoh plays less if I also play less. For me operations was a fun way to also have a goal to work for, but 2m fxp? Ehm....that is a bit steep imo. Now if it were some Black at tier 10, then I would have seriously considered getting her once she got released even though I already have Friesland. So this is where my line currently resides and I think each person should decide for themselves whether they want to pick up what wows has to offer or to pass and maybe wait for the next treasureship to come along to board.

When they added the 1m fxp ships we had operations like dynamo and cherry and we already had the chinese camos and supersignals back then. Now even narai is gone and the prices (if rumor is correct here) have doubled. JB and Georgia were already significantly more expensive in coal cost compared to Musashi (which was around 176k coal without coupon iirc). Perhaps WG didn't want to pricehike too much as 228k coal is already pushing it, as well as the much easier to fabricate supercommanders which will also drain the playerbase from their coal. I suspect WG purposefully had added all the extra operations-able directive missions with the previous patch so they could monitor operations, after which 4 weeks later they suddenly pulled narai after what must have been a serverside change making the bots in narai go backwards and the main convoy ship stop moving when nobody was in the healing circle, this was serverside and must have been an active change. My guestimate would be that this was done on purpose to remove narai and help prevent rioting by stating it was to fix the narai bots. But they forgot that the Raptor bots had the same pathfinding issue and wasn't pulled, so I think it has to do with narai being (in their eyes) an unwanted addition to the game. Perhaps WG wants us to play random battles more often, as well as making it harder (so it takes longer!! == we play more often) to gather resources to get the new ships. Then there's some more stuff which I will keep for myself for the time being.

Aslains doesn't even appear to function on PTS though. I tried both copy+paste and installing it directly from the installer despite it not being able to find a client there. There's also 2 different tech tree mods in the aslains installer. Perhaps I am trying with the wrong one? My guess is you are right about the price being preliminary, but this doesn't assure that this price is random.

Same thing here. Personally I think it's a lot but in the end this is not why I am in this topic right now. Btw, ftr, on live server it also doesn't list these new prices so chances are it was from PTS from someone more adept at modding then yours truely here

On PTS the infernal camos seem to work properly and I can mount the tier 8 infernal permacamo on a CV when looking in the preview. Unfortunately I had already mounted the tier 10 one on another ship on PTS so couldn't check there. But it appears that the tier 8 New Year camos are missing on PTS (have 3 ones that I haven't put on a ship yet) and when I started scrolling through the list of camos from within the Inventory, the inventory window locked up without having displayed the New Year permacamos yet, which might indicate there is an error with the New Year camos which causes them to either not 'spawn' or lock-up the Inventory window when trying to view them from within the Inventory. I did forget to check to see if they are displayed properly from within the logbook thingy, will do once I log back into PTS again. Could anyone else please check these New Year camos in case you have them and see if they still work for you guys?

Isn't this just the extended tech tree for the live server btw? I haven't checked there yet. The new Fjords port looks gorgeous btw

It's very well possible that I simply didn't do this modding correctly (it's often also trial&error and I'm basically only doing some quick-n-dirty editing for like a couple minutes at best) and the information is correct. Personally I can see why 2m fxp would be real but it would be an insane price. Even 1m will take a long while and that was with narai still around.

Your reply to me doesn't make any sense anyway. I already explained why. I want to know where this information is coming from before making up my mind. FOr all I know this information is fake or from a supertest server and not PTS or whatever. I dunno if the price would be too high for you, this is a personal decision and I can't judge that. Lets hope for you the price gets lowered. or something.

It doesn't appear to be able to install on a different version though. How did you get this installed on PTS anyway? And where did you download it from? It doesn't appear to be on Aslains website, it only states the 9.1.1 version for live. And which installer did he use? because this information and mod package appears to be nowhere to be found.

So where is this screenshot taken from? If this is from PTS then it's not visible to me. There's no tech tree with the ships in the screenshot you posted. @Leo_Apollo11 same for you with your topic. This is not from PTS?

Chapayev? The only ship in which I fear the Chapa is when I'm in a DD. Use it as a long range fire spammer and later in the game you can go do the radar support role more often. It can be done at the start, but you will need to have good map awareness for this to work effectively. The radar range is OP though (at 12km) and the radar duration is really good ever since these ships got their radar durations buffed during the radar rework. I haven't played Chapa in a while though so I may be a lil rusty on this

Tschapaew? And btw you forgot to add to always play in a division which will significantly change how you play certain ships. Because your stats aren't solo but most people do play solo so your advice won't always work for them. I tried the radar support with the russian cruisers but it often won't work (because of your team. haha. hahahaha) partially because it will be more challenging to find an angle at which to lob shells over.

I removed virtually all 3rd slot AA upgrades from my ships. The turret traverse upgrade is pretty good on particularly the larger ships, but I ended up putting them mostly on cruisers because I think battleships need the improved dispersion way more.

Play normal times, problem solved This is way more common between,say, 2am and 6am (as I know from personal experience )
