I didn't get to try any of the other maps. Kinda disappointed especially since I was really going for it and I got none...

The collection is nice and all, but I was mostly looking forward to playing these crazy maps in randoms, so I played almost exclusively tiers 9 and 10 in order to get one of these maps (especially the one with 9 caps, so I sailed a lot of DDs). And out of all my tries, this here was literally all my experience with these new maps: The only match in which I get to see one of these maps happens to be the one where I tried out my tier 8 rental, a ship for which I didn't even know the gun caliber (and it also doesn't show the gun caliber anymore when hovering over the shells). I basically got deleted outright by the 1st salvo that hit me. Fun. And literally ALL other games I got none of these maps, so I probably won't get to see them. Nice! Not! Was looking forward to these and now I feel like an idiot for doing even more gambling just to get to play these maps! I basically wasted 3 evenings for these maps which simply seemed to not even exist.

Till I read this post, I thought the OP was trying to pull my leg So we get first another branch of railgunners with 12km radar and then we get even more carriers? These 2 we really don't need more of.

If playing a game is not fun, why play it?

I know. But it is less efficient for satisfying my operations itch. It is less satisfying when I need to turn down a div request from a clanny or a friend. It is less efficient if I want to complete some of the KotS quests which need a tier 10 to complete and same thing can be said about the directives. And also it is less efficient to spam tier 5 DD in coop if I want to see any of the 1st april versions of the maps. I have already practically given up on the clan brawl because it would require so much time in so few days to get more then just the ramming flags. So sure, if I spam coop, it will be more efficient. But only for those collection crates, you see? I don't have time for all of this. I barely watch twitch these days even though I like that platform. And I have more in my life then just WoWS.

I am playing mostly ops and randoms. Randoms because I wanna experience the 9 caps maps, but still, not having had any of those and many battles drag out for quite a long time in which I don't get a kill (I'm not used to Daring yet and I always try to go for the caps and my 1st battle today was a bad one with the enemy CV focussing me non-stop (quite literally so) and my own CV giving no support whatsoever so that game I was slowly eaten alive, fun and engaging you know). But this way it takes more time as well. I don't have time to do everything WG throws at me

My first was the Mo, which is literally the ship I have played the most battles in. Still the idea of rentals is nice. But the gambling is not. Or at least, not for me.

Yes, I get that. This wasn't even an answer to my original question btw. Will people be able to keep collecting these collection items post 9th april?

So I have this one Dasha captain. I don't remember exactly what event she was part of but all major nations had one available, all using the same (Russian) voiceover. I really like how Dasha did the voiceover, I think hers is really one of the best ones out there I would like to pick up a couple more. Will they be made available again some point in the future? (and on another note, I wonder if the halloween captains will ever be made available and whether they can get a customised voiceover at some point, if only to add some of the halloween jitter through the voices or something)

I don't think Dasha speaks any English (no idea about any other additional languages) and most weeb captains also speak Japanese (like my Nelson anime chick who is a RN captain). The Dasha was from a limited temporary resource and I opted to get only 1 and use the remaining temporary resources on something else (iirc I spend it on the Edin very cool camo but I could be mistaking).

I never do report someone when someone apologizes and thankfully many do I always prefer the peaceful solution usually

I have the same thing. Noticed one of my recruits is now suddenly a re-engaged recruit. So what does it mean? I'm fairly sure this player hasn't been away from the game for 90 days or so? @TheWarJaC

Each drops just the collection item, but they also drop from daily crates. I'm not sure how much time I'd need to spend to complete the collection, but limiting it till the 9th of april (though afaics, this relates only to the missions) would require me to spend more time or I won't be able to complete it in time.

Benaulim Beta Tester With all the silly mistakes Wargaming made, one of them would be the inability of their beta testers to actually read questions correctly.

So we can't finish the collection by daily crates from 9th of april?

Don't forget that we need Fish as a captain now, if only for completionist's sake

It doesn't appear like these maps spawn that often anyway, or at least not for me. I am looking forward to trying out the cap cap! Would be even cooler if he could be put on other nations though, like on a Bismarck or something

The first random draws I got were the Missouri (already got her) and the Bayard! So I took out the Bayard! I got deleted real quick! I approve of this idea of rental ships! I don't really need the captains though. I don't see why we won't get to keep the captains from these ships and they can be nice for people who don't have a better captain of that nation yet.

I think that was it. I also don't always turn pink right away, even with some shells, but with torps usually I do get pink but the EU torps do relatively little damage. Yes, I was backing up to get a better shot and was doing the secondary mission. Usually I report people who teamtorp me, but since you did apologize, I didn't, lucky you I am indiscriminate against any evil doers! But you're not one of them, so all good. And it's not like it never happens, I got torped by another teammate later today and he ended up blaming me for it. May the next match prove to be a bit less unlucky Sir

Worked fine for me when I logged back in about an hour ago, seems to work now

I ran into @YabbaCoe in his Småland in coop just now while playing my GK for the secondaries. It went something like this: He didn't turn pink? I was kinda like so I didn't even respond when he apologized for the torps. I mean 2 torp salvoes? Now I have seen myself not get pink right away when I do teamdamage, but never seen someone not turning pink after having torped a teammate on 2 separate occasions during one battle (3 torps total). Is this some april fools thing or something? Or are devs etc simply immune from getting pink? Or is the damage too low to get pink right away for these EU torps?

Even though I tried and tried, I didn't get a single one
