I have thought about this. My guess would be that this way WG leaves randoms unaffected, except from being able to mount more economic signals. This should have the adverse effect of getting newbs into high tiers more quickly as they play more high tier ships (and not just their Tirpitz or Friesland anymore while they are still busy grinding through tiers 4 and 5 and stuff ). It is also apparent WG wanted to specifically target the more skilled farmers and at least somewhat leave the more casual farmers alone a bit more. And it seems kinda apparent WG thinks there's too much economic boosters in the game and too many people with too much FXP and XP boosters. I may arguably be one of them, though I think my stash of FXP is fairly limited these days. I don't have like 6m FXP anymore or how much I had back then.

Telling him to grow a pair won't help though. Btw, if he was sending you post battle 'fan'-mail, you can send those to customer support and he might get a chat ban. And these chatbans do work as I see people complain about them all the time. Chapa is not a stronk OP ship. Chapa is quite squishy actually. But for DDs, its radar is kinda nasty, so obviously it would have to go before you can push in without any risk getting radared. I can't really comment about the game you had btw. There's plenty people who stay in the back and farm damage all the time and I see them play any class.

Most radar isn't much of an issue to me, if that's what you meant. The only radar I find nasty is the 12km one from tanky ships that take forever to dislodge. Ships like DM and Wooster need more actual skill to play well vs DD and are easier to outplay for me because they have no 12km FoW removers nor any instagibcannons.

A friend of mine got them from buying the Yamamoto or Bismarck containers. Btw, narai has also been nerfed several times and the tier 6 op's were never that profitable to begin with. Most events that can be profitable are less so due to the inability to mount a custom camo (like the halloween scenarios, 1st of april, twilight and filth battlemodes).

When do resets get the 2x again? Wasn't this to happen very soon if one hadn't done this yet?

Well, looking at your stats you are certainly a good player. And you have 7 of the freemiums, so I wonder how you are having trouble getting FXP anyway. But you were also trying to make a point to Sehales and I kinda have something to add: It's now much harder to gain FXP compared to 1 or 2 years ago, back when these FXP ships were a lot cheaper (and also arguably better).

These torps can be very effective vs other DDs btw. I noticed mostly from being on the receiving end of them

So how about we dumb down DD gameplay enough so every DDegenerate can do 150k damage average each battle at tier 8 EZ We'd get a flood of DDegenerates every battle with 4,5,6, maybe more DDs each and every game and this will make the game inherently unfun for too many players. Imo the only thing holding DDs back, are the (imo too large amounts of) carriers. Especially tier 4 carriers are too common. If it weren't for carriers, DDs would already be OP (in my opinion of course). The main thing holding me back when playing ships like Vladi and the ARP Kongos, are DDs (especially when it's 2x4DD matches). I agree btw that DDs feel like a job. And I like them that way. I don't see how this could be made easier except in PvE scenarios like Sunray, Dunkirk and the twilight-something gamemodes where playing DD was very easy and kinda very forgiving. I don't agree with you that playing DD being harder is the problem. The problem is that too many potatos who perhaps don't deserve to play top tier DD, keep playing top tier DDs (and keep blaming their teammates for "WHY U NO SUPPORTZ!!!111!!11" after he gets himself 4-minute recked). When putting in the effort, I outperform in DDs compared to when I play BBs, regardless of how much effort I put into playing BB. DDs require a brain. Not everybody will like this but that's the way it is and it should stay that way, if only because making DDs EZ mode will damage the game too much.

I made about 200k FXP in about 6 weeks, but I have also not been farming that much anyway (mostly just ESCL + Papa papa + camo bonus and daily crates). Didn't even have premium account some of the time I'm not sure I would like Hayate, mostly due to its somewhat poor conceilment as I like DDs that are able to contest caps.

It is fun in coop. I can't say whether it will also be fun in randoms.

Friend of mine recently started playing the Bismarck and he is really hating it. He thinks it's cursed I played Bismarck before the line got buffed and I ended up throwing in the towel and using fxp to get the tier 10 (which is actually fun! In coop).

Well, important reason for me to keep playing is my recruits (and the recruits cashbacks I should keep receiving) and my clanmates (including playing cb with them). My recruits are enjoying wows right now, but me less so atm. But part of this is of course me having introduced them to wows. Once I quit, they are likely to quit themselves sooner or later because playing together is part of the fun. But I'm not enjoying randoms that much anyway so why keep playing? I rather have control over my own fun, the slot machine was never really my thing. The completionism I can relate to. But don't forget that there's tons of other games in which one can work to complete stuff. In GW I haven't completed all I ever wanted to complete, though I did reach one of my personal milestones there about a month ago. What does it cost? And what will you gain from it? And how much fun will this bring you? In the end, games are supposed to be about having fun. I got other stuff fulfilling my "I need to do this stuff"-needs, I don't need a game for this And randoms sure don't bring me all the fun that I desire (and ranked even less so).

At one time (I think it was like 3 or 4 months ago or so?) I received a survey consisting of about 6 or 7 pages. They asked questions like "what games have you played during the last 2 weeks" and all sorts of personal questions. I think this was too invasive. And due to how much focus randoms and cb/ranked is getting where PvE is basically getting neglected, at page 2 or so I just clicked it away and never bothered to fill in another one again. Because lately I have been getting the feeling WG just wants to use this information to get me as addicted as possible while -seemingly- not being as motivated to make me have as much fun in the process. I'm really not liking where randoms are going. I don't like getting eaten alive slowly but surely by aircraft carriers like I have today when playing my Vladi. I was 1st, 1st and 2nd in my team today, loss loss loss. Yeah...fun. Not really though. And after 20 wins inr andoms, my SC contained 100 of the meh signals. Friend of mine received 1500 steel, which he has no use for and intends to use as 15k coal. His 2nd SC was 100 wyverns, which he is really happy with. But why waste time playing a gamemode I don't really like if I can spend this same time playing GW and enjoying its awesome anniversary event which will be running for the next week. I'd be crazy to relinquish that in exchange for more randoms pain lol.

I'm not very happy with the battles I played today. I could explain but WG is well aware of these issues for a long time now, so why bother.

In the end, for me it is about having it fun when ingame. Playing only randoms won't be enough to keep me busy. I also like to play coop, operations and clan battles. But if these modes become more unfun, I'll be less likely to play. If I liked ranked battles more, I would have had a lot more coalsteel by now. The ships I get are an extra incentive to keep playing. In the end to me this is a game about warships

Wargaming also said that some of the tanks were going to become reward tanks. So I spend days and most of my credits and part of my fxp unlocking these, only to learn they were not gonna make these reward tanks with switchable commanders. Thanks wargaming. But at least WoT hasn't made me rage-uninstall this year and I've gotten only a single post-battle hatemessage in the garage the roughly 1 week I played it.

But regardless, I wouldn't mind if owners of the Moskva permacamo got to keep the type 2o techg tree camo on its replacement (which would probably be the new heavy cruiser). I don't mind. It would effectively be the same as the old Cleveland camo being copypasted onto the Pensacola (so also from light to heavy cruiser).

If he has a winrate of 45%, he is also probably not gonna be good playing any tier 8 premium ship. I didn't bother to check his stats tbh. Only included a disclaimer at the very end

Voted no, mostly because I am really happy with the breather as I was kinda burned out of the game. And I really like having a new campaign, even if it's only for 6 months
