Tier 7, I dunno. I seem to have good luck with the Atlanta but imo if you want to go for credits, tier 8 (and 9) are where it's at I've had good luck with Cossack btw for tier 8, but DD is not the easiest class to play.

I think it was just some kind of forum bug which was bugging us The forum did more funny stuff btw, like when I clicked on my old notifications, it wouldn't actually take me to the post where I got the quote alert from and other odd stuff like that. Even though what you say is kinda true, WG is missing the point when it comes to (at the very least) showing their appreciation to the people who did PAY for that camo. What I could gather from this debate is that it wasn't just about the money, but also about that.

They are making the tech tree that we do have, into a coal ship. We'll even geta free permacamo if we don't already have one. Heck, we don't even need to have the ship in port! Only need to unlock it. I don't know about Kotovsky (wth is that ship anyway?) but Kirov is barely worth selling prior to the switch as she is so cheap anyway. And Donskoi is a fine ship, though she may not be for everyone. What I personally don't fully agree with is the way they handled the "I already have the permacamo for moskva!"-thingy. WG could have at least given them some token reward, if only to show their appreciation to the people that spend MONEY to PAY for that camo. Even if it's just some extra alternative color scheme or whatever. Personally I think they handled that a bit poorly. Even just giving those people some color scheme that nobody else will ever have. Perhaps it's not like a full refund but at least they will still get something out of it. I don't intend to rake up this debate again btw, just throwing in what's on my mind here.

I don't see why tier 4 carriers needed to get buffed about half a year ago anyway, yet WG did it which caused tier 4 carriers (and tier 6 carriers to a lesser extent) to 'flood the market' But personally I wouldn't know either why WG would want to stop this. It prevents a lot of complaining (though the latest addition did get some complaints about the sextupling of the crate prices (from 1k to 6k). Even though I get your point, I wouldn't put it as extreme as you have. But I can certainly feel your disappointment with how the game has been developing lately. For me (as a mainly PvE dude), this game is kinda half of what it used to be.

Perhaps you should consider to thread carefully. This forum isn't about politics and personally I prefer it that way I kinda agree with you about the latter thing you stated here though, as explained above in my previous post.

Personally I somewhat fail to see what is so proud about sinking your own fleet, just because of politics. The German fleet performed pretty good considering they went toe-to-toe with the strongest and arguably most experienced fleet in the world while having much less naval tradition in the military sense. I'm pretty sure WG could think of something more...proud...to honor these ships with. Or at least that's what I personally think. And of course these ships look gorgeous and have nothing to do with nazis whatsoever.

I had assumed these crates were available in the armory, but I just checked and they aren't. Apparently that collection was released around august last year or so? So it should be put in the armory around a year after that (presumably).

Stalingrad and Smolensk aren't even real premiums and WG can nerf them at any time they want to. They aren't nerfing them because for whatever reason, WG chooses to not do so. But tier 10 'premiums' are not real premiums. Agreed on you regarding DoY, but the changes to brit BBs was a very bad idea which I voiced to WG from the very beginning when these plans were revealed. Yet WG pressed on with it, DoY was a fine ship. Balanced even!

When taking the list of who played Venezia the most on EU and then looking at their stats, like their winrate, of all these players who play Venezia the most and who also own the stalingrad, 4 out of 5 outperform their own Venezia when playing stalingrad. I checked the top 30 or so, since I'm not actually that motivated to dig through all that anyway. But feel free to have a go at it. If there's any tier 10 ship that deserves a nerf, it could be stalingrad especially when considering certain people argue that stalingrad performance is relatively worse in randoms as opposed to clan battle and according to certain individuals stalingrad is not OP anyway. If stalingrad is not OP and outperforms Venezia, then Venezia also doesn't deserve a nerf as that would make no sense. It is quite a chore to go through such a list and I really don't bother with these stats that much since it is a lot of work digging through dozens of pages when wargaming has all the data viewable in a much more convenient way, though since wargaming doesn't really seem to care (just like tier 4 carrier buffs which caused them to flood the lower tiers), there's no incentive for them to make any such statements. Venezia doesn't have any utility, except for the smoke of course and its smoke firing penalty is quite hefty. Its smokefiring conceilment is also incomparable to that of other ships which have smoke. Venezia can frack destroyers good, but usually the DD in question had made a mistake and thus should be punished like anyone who makes a bad play. I also read something about carriers in clan battle. I don't think this was a good decision but whatever. Concerning the rest of what you say (like it being Venezias vs Venezias), the only mostly homogeneous teams I've seen was consisting of stalingrads and a hakuryu. There's definitely quite a few Venezias in the latest iteration of CB but stalingrads seem to still outnumber them anyway.

I've noticed this happen to me several times the last few days. I thought it was just on my end and didn't think much of it. It seemed to happen more if I was also playing around with the zoom. I was not potatoing the shift key & aim, but it seemed to get fixed if I did not zoom out as much (though this comes at the cost of situational awareness).

And about those improved pen angles, even the wiki states that stalingrad also has these. On top of that, stalingrad shells move faster and will hit a target at a less oblique angle, increasing it's ability to pen along with shorter travel time giving a better opportunity to hit at the best angle the shooter wants. Btw, how are the pen and the fuses of either ship? Anecdotal evidence is not evidence though, you will need stats for that. And lots of em. Henri was used because it could pen stalingrad with ifhe. Now it can't so people don't use it anymore or at least not in the numbers that they used to. It was used to counter stalingrad, which in effect is telling on how balanced that ship is. Ow and I did want to point out one thing:

I really disliked her at first, but then I gave it a 19pt commander and Flamuu's build and I got her working now. It's certainly not for the braindead. The tier 5 in that line is the one I really hated because it felt so useless that even Omaha felt amazing compared to that piece of dung.
