I'm not sure this is the right section to ask, but does anyone know what the name is of the music in the Halloween 2017 port?

I checked yesterday and I couldn't claim anything yet, but I could about 15 minutes ago, but my test server rewards haven't appeared on the live server yet (will update as soon as I receive anything).

So how do I upload a replay? Had 3 battles this evening, 2 times bottom tier (farragut in tier 8 battle and Furutaka in tier 7 battle where I (I mean...come ON!) was THE ONLY ONE who managed to SUCCESFULLY CAP! Bottom tier cruiser! 611xp and I was the second last to die (battle ended with 1 on our team still alive). Battle duration 14:30 With my faragut I started capping simultaneously to an enemy DD, so we were stuck. Evaded a couple torp salvoes till I got spotted and sunk (smoke duration ended). My torps hit nothing either. I ended up being LAST in my loosing team, "No battle contribution", seriously?!?!? 272xp At least I did die quickly. 3rd battle I was top tier in my T-22 and I could've done better. Still ended 4th, same as in my Furutaka game. I enjoyed the Furutaka game the most, but again, my battle contribution is minimal if I end up at the bottom of the barrel most of the time. I elited my Omaha and Königsberg, so not grinding those anymore. Maybe it is easier to point me to a couple replays on youtube or something? I did watch a farragut one and one piece of advice was really useful! (the one where he activated speed boost while capping while in smoke)

Just ran into Butterdoll while playing my Furutaka in coop mode. He was using his tier 5 Königsberg but unfortunately we were bottom tier and the bots crushed us! xD Btw, I don't know how you people do that blue name stuff.

I think you're missing the point. Suppose I 'yolo' and die in 3 minutes. I get maybe 250xp for that. If I decide not to yolo and I die in 15 minutes, I get maybe 500xp. That's the design. It's simple math. I don't have any influence on the outcome, so my staying alive doesn't change this anyway. I'm merely fodder for the enjoyability of the higher tiers, so I can understand why they would want me to do my best. Last battle our top tier CV (tier 7) decided to yolo. I don't know why, but I tried my best to influence the battle and we lost. It didn't matter. But anyway, I think now you should understand how the game was 'designed' to encourage yoloing, which is why I wrote this :) I've played 3 tier 5 ships today, including my brand new Kongo which I was looking forward to for a long time since I found it an interesting ship from childhood! 2 first battles in my Kongo and I get tier 7 matches. Then 1 battle in my Omaha and I get a tier 7 battle where our tier 7 CV decided to go yolo...instant loss! I tried to play and I still managed to almost do my own amount of hitpoints in damage...but it doesn't matter! Over 15 minutes and 523xp, 9th position. Our yoloing tier 7 CV got 515 xp and he died in about half that time? Of course our team lost.

Hi! Even though this wasn't a direct answer to my question, it sorta was and I appreciate the effort you took to write this, this is information I can't know due to me not being expertienced. Compliment was given! I did find this on the USA WoWS forum https://forum.worldofwarships.com/topic/111169-a-tier-population-study/ It seems tiers 5 to 8 are the more populated tiers, with tiers 7 and 8 being the most populated. If this is true, it would be quite easy to have tiers 7 and 8 play more in their own tier, problem solved! :) It was better then trying my best and get no reward for it. Sometimes I can bother or I feel like giving it a try again, but you must understand that noone likes being given bad luck by design. This is a game and I'm here to have fun! ^^ The thing is that I don't want to have 0% tier 7 battles when playing tier 5, but having been bottom tier most of the times while there are way more then enough tier 7 ships so they can play their own tiers, why should I be thrown into a meatgrinder? If I have less fun, I have less motivation to try my best and less motivation to improve...because people who don't like what they do, also don't have any insentive to get better. I would think it's actually a good idea to have SOME battles being bottom tier, but not over half of them or something, especially if it makes me waste my precious flags and camo's for 2x 200xp -_- when I could've gotten the same amount of xp in coop in 1/3rd the amount of time. If it were like 10% tier 7 battles while playing tier 5 ships, I'd be all for it! It is interesting having a few behemots sailing around, but not when I'm the ant most of the time. It's just too much and everyone here knows perfectly well this is the cold hard truth, if there even is a name for it (yoloing). Well maybe if people like you start taking people like him seriously, more good players will come back. I'm pretty sure he can put up more of a fight vs me going yolo on you again xD

Funny that I now see this topic, when I made a topic about my tier 5 cruisers getting into tier 7 matches a lot. Question: Is the distribution of players playing a certain tier of ships, like so? tier 5:00000 tier 6:00000000 tier 7:000000000000 tier 8:000000000000000000 tier 9:0000000000000000000000000000 tier 10:00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 Because if the amount of people taking a tier 7 is equal to a tier 5, why can't the people in tier 7 play in their own tiers and me in my own tier? To me, this is really a game breaker and a friend of mine who I got into WoWS decided to quit playing after I told him what tier 5 was like and that I was told on these forums that it would only get worse as one progresses through the tiers. I hear a lot about tier 8 being bad, but what is tier 7 like? Do tier 7 players get into tier 9 battles way more often then tier 7 players get into tier 7 battles? Because if the distribution of ships being played isn't like I showed above, then tier 7 ships should be much more often top tier then tier 5. Right now it seems more like this when I play my tier 5 cruisers: tier 5 battles:00000 tier 6 battles:0000 tier 7 battles:0000000000 I don't mind these existing tier 7 battles whenever I play my tier 5 ships, the problem is the sheer amount of games where I'm thrown into a meatgrinder with very little left to do except to sail to the middle and die in a gunfight. It actually nets me more xp/minute then to try and play the game. And before someone tells me this will make my team loose, then just have a bottom tier ship on the opposite side do the same then both teams are equal again and you can keep your top tier battles all to yourself! I only recently discovered there's actually a name for this: Yoloing! Well, if it's so common that it be given its own name, maybe the problem is a significant one. I say change the spread to +1-1 tier only, it fixes way more issues then it creates using theoretical other solutions. And if some people don't like such a change because they find it too much fun to go play shooting gallery and shoot tier 5 paper ships in their tier 7 megaliths, I say *edit go play coop if you want that!

So I've been playing for a couple more weeks now and I'm starting to get really fed up with this crap. It seems to be hardly worth it to try and do my best, my effort doesn't seem to have any influence on the outcome of the battle and even if my team wins, I'm usually at the bottom of the list and get few XP points. I did a little bit of observing and especially when playing tier 5 cruisers, whenever I saw I had another tier 7 battle and decided to just sail to the middle to basically go down guns blazing and after I get sunk, exit to harbor and start another tier 5 cruiser. This is actually the most XP/minute. And the thing is that even though this is actually still frustrating, it not suppost to even be a shameful way to play since the game was designed this way? It's retarded, but this seems the way new players should go about since I haven't gotten to become a very good player and this kind of practicing is so demotivating that I don't even want to bother anymore. With destroyers, I at least still got a fighting chance, but battleships also...I was trying the mission for to setting 5 fires, so I took my Iron Duke and spend some time with signals. Of course I got into a tier 7 battle again. I even tried shooting with 1 turret at the time and managed to get 4 fires going before dying due to 2 carriers concentrating their torp bombers on me. Fun! This evening I played 4 tier 5 ships, 3 of the 4 battles were tier 7 battles and the 4th (my Furutaka) I was top tier, ended in first place. The other 3 battles were frustrating, my Omaha again being bottom tier but I had a lot of luck and my team somehow won. When my New York was bottom tier again, I broke and exited the game. I didn't even let the map loading finish.... What's the point if my efforts are of no use anyway? I am trying but it's not really working! Btw, my tier 6 DD also gets into tier 8 battles more often, but with DD it's somehow managable (but feel free to check my tier 6 stats, they are pretty sorry and self-explanatory)

I'm actually a fan of anime and the Russian BB isn't as appealing to me. It doesn't sound like taking away the point of attending events, someone has to be there for the events anyway. But I don't expect this to get possible, but I would've prefered if I were able to get these ships.

And I actually like the really weird colored camo patterns, but since I don't play WoWS for a long time, I haven't been able to try out a lot of them yet. On my Furutaka I like the type 1 and type 2 due to their greenness and the Valentine 2017 camo looks really good on my Furutaka as well. Too bad I only gotten 10 of those valentine ones (they came out of a crate. I was very surprised but I didn't mind! :D) I like the ARP camo's a lot as well...were these ever to be gotten separately?

I wish they had submersible zeppelin carriers in WoWS too :)

How about changing that requested feature to "being able to give/donate ARP/Dragon ships to another player who hasn't gotten them"? I would LOVE to get those ships, but started playing WoWS too late to have the chance :(

Hi. I've send an invite ingame as this sounds like a clan I would like to join! A clan by myself is something I can always do if all else fails but I do like a chitchat now and again (but only voluntarily and I'm already kinda active on the forums). I'm new to the game but I'm getting there! ^^ I saw there's still some room so I hope I get picked. I play 10% for getting new ships and trying out new tactics and 90% is fun, be it a win or a loss.

I happen to come across this, but I've the same experience. But I don't know how long it takes till it's done closing, because I always assumed it had crashed, so I forced closed it with task manager ^^ My computer is old, though.

The most fun to me is to simply play and enjoy torping the enemies onto the sea floor, or fail and sink myself (the latter is more common lol!). I actually enjoy the more frantic lower tiers a bit more compared to the middle tiers, but on the test server I did like the tier 10 ships with very skilled captains a lot as well! I also liked the maps a lot, but it just takes so lang till I can get to tier 8 or so. I just got to tier 6. I also like the eye candy and I also like that this game seems to be generous with the helping hand, the crates give me a target I can reach every day and the rewards I kinda already need just to keep my credits reasonably stable. Battleship is really slow, but that's kinda what battleship is about. I do like battleships being able to repair. And very interesting is that there's even a few ships that are for free...or at least in theory, for free XP. And last but not least, I really enjoy being able to torp some not-so-smart bots while playing a couple missions for it!

I've tried being more of a camper behind island shooting HE instead of trying to elbow myself into the front lines all the time :D It seems to work, but the game seemed to put me into a bit more lower tier battles since then, for which I'm glad! 0.6.11 is out now, so when are the rewards coming? It's annoying not knowing anything and having to keep refreshing this page without knowing anything.

So today I've been trying to do 2 missions simultaneously that required me to do citadels. But even though I know where to hit enemies, either the opportunity simply does not present itself, despite my efforts to hit an enemy ship broadside with AP, or there simply aren't any citadels. I need to do 15 citadels, but with only about 1% of all my hits being citadels, this is not a challenge, but a pain. I have 5 ceitadels right now, after having hit hundreds of shots. I'm doing something wrong here? How do I get citadels reliably during battle?
