I did just 2 battles last evening, with the first battle being the best I ever did damage wise. One of our cruisers went into the filth right at the start and I knew he was gonna wait for the Gorgon. At some point I decided to join that cruiser, but I got the message the cruiser got killed before I could get there, though I was close. Then I saw the Gorgon not moving and it was only after my first salvo that I noticed the Gorgon couldn't move forward due to a wreck of a ship (possibly the cruiser) and I basically spammed T, Y and U and sunk the Gorgon with 645k damage dealt. It's probable the Gorgon was already damaged a bit, but I think it had around 200k left when I started doing my torp runs. I had previously already done good damage, so I healed good while in the filth. I also added a screenshot of how the damage was applied. Battle ended with 4 stars and me being 3rd place :D The other battle I stuffed up by hitting an island again xD We lost :(

How can you do that so quickly? And how to get those flags?

So I've been wondering for a while now. When choosing "other operations", there is a button with "hard" but it will always be unclickable with a message that it will become available in future updates. What's this all mean? Is there a hard difficulty somewhere? I never been able to access it ^^

This mission seemed easier when it was just a day old or so. Today I'm getting mostly losses (sometimes even with 5 crosses xD), it seems most good players aren't bothering anymore. I think this event is awesome!!!! I actually like the waves upon waves of enemy ships and I like the chaos! :D If anyone is in need of decent players, isn't there some channel ingame where one can look up other players who also don't have a clan to ask people for help? I don't mind playing some more, even though I already gotten 5 stars on the first day :)

I had a couple battles where it was extremely laggy at certain moments, especially when zoomed in into the fog. At worst, I had like 1 frame each 3 seconds But I supposed it was due to my pc not being very new. It passed the test server probably because it worked as intended, which it in fact did. Or at least to me :)

Apart from a single game yesterday where the battle ended in everyone of our division getting send to the harbor and skipping the battle results and rewards (it was as if the battle never happened) and there for some reason being a veeeery long que of CV players, the event seems to run fairly well actually. A division of 6 clanmembers and a 7th random person netted us the 5th star the second try or so, after I had already gotten 3 stars earlier that same day :)

You do get extra commander xp, which is nice. I do wish you could get the boxes daily but I don't expect they will grant us that. Or at least maybe some extra of those reddish halloween camo's or something, that would've been nice as well :)

Hi. I played on round 1 and 2 of the test server and gotten a total of 8 missions which all of them I completed succesfully. It was for this test server https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/public-test/test-your-mettle/ Earlier today I noticed that on this page https://worldofwarships.eu/en/userbonus/# it mentioned in a blueish font that I could claim my rewards or something, after which I got to a webpage stating all 4 different missions, each one double (one for round 1 and the other for round 2). It listed all 8 missions I had completed. However, I've never received the rewards on the live server. Did something go wrong on the webpage perhaps? There was no way for me to return to that page anymore and I see totaly zero mentions anywhere in my account on the live server nor on the account I created when I created an account for the test server on that russian website. I played on the previous test server and there I did get the rewards, even though I never received an email for either batch of rewards. Another question, has anyone else here received their test server rewards yet? Noone seems to know anything and I've been asking around for hours without anyone seemingly knowing anything.

I've noticed this as well. I can only presume that as more of the better players gotten their fifth star, more of the afk people and bad players remain. I did notice more afk players as the event passed by. The new event is much better! So far 4 games with 3 victories :) 2 stars, 2 stars, 3 stars. I didn't even have the commanders given all their skills yet ^^ One of the victories was actually with noone on the team left alive! xD

Yes, it's awesome for experienced players like you trashing my tier 5 cruisers! :(

Hi. I just noticed I auto-received the rewards on the live server! 2 days premium, the normal flags, the special flags and 20 type 6 camo's. I don't know what happened, I didn't try to claim them again, they just appeared! :)

We ended up having 2 victories, 1 with 3 stars and a win which turned into a loss which was due to a Jackas using the trans ship as a meat shield, but overall good results if you ask me! ^^ It was preceded by another win with 3 stars :)

I just had a halloween battle, which turned out to be the first victory with my Jackal, 4 stars! However, after the battle ended, I was immediately back in the harbor, the Jackal I was playing still had its 100% 1st victory mark sign thing and in the bottom right corner the battle is completely absent. It's as if the battle never happened! I was giving compliments to everyone before the game exited from the map, then instead of getting to the battle results I was thrown back to the harbor where I noticed a clan mate had invited me to a division. I'm referencing these as these may be relevant. I will provide screenshots. SOmeone else who also participated mentioned the same happened to him and his division mate. I edited the last 2 screenshots slightly so noone can see how poor I am xD

You need 1600 base XP. Not 1600 total XP. I barely see anyone which even surpasses 1600 base XP. I don't except I will beat this mission, so no premium boat for me :(

So anyone up for some quick victories? Just played in a division with some unknown person and I ended up being the only DD. He topped the chart while I ended in second place, but the trans ship got destroyed by neglected catapults (and it's hard being the only DD, having to dodge flame balls, torp and smoke up the trans ship while not taking too much damage). I'm pretty sure with a team of 7 decent players, this should be all done within an hour, right? :)

Well today I had 14 battles with tier 5 ships and above and managed a woefully 3 victories! Wasted lots of ouroboros and a day premium for hardly any free xp :( Except for the one battle where I got 5 stars, all my battles were with random folks. The battles seemed worse today compared to yesterday, but it was relatively few battles.

With random teams it seems kinda hopeless. Since 48 hours ago, my battles went like this: Defeat 3 stars defeat 3 stars defeat defeat 4 stars 2 stars defeat 5 stars defeat defeat defeat defeat defeat 2 stars defeat So 11 defeats and 6 wins so far. Randoms truely is a lottery xD

Perhaps this will be of help to someone: Basically it comes down to the destroyers being in front of the trans ship and torping like madmen and smoking up the trans ship all the time. The smoke recharges kinda slowly so even if you use the super intendent skill so you have 3 smokes, the 3rd smoke will be recharged at the end to don't save up on the smokes, especially if there's 2 or more destroyers! The destroyers should be in front, also to draw the attention of the catapults, change course all the time so the catapults don't hit anything. Stay in front of the green circle so the trans ship sails more slowly, but do return if you need repairs. Your torps will not damage teammates, so it's ok to shoot torps through your own fleet. If your torps are recharged, shoot them again! It's like a 13 second recharge so no point in not shooting them, even at the trailing battleships 11km away, some may end up hitting ^^ The cruisers have a simple task, which is to set enemy battleships (the Zikasas) on fire. What I do is shoot the nearest first till it starts burning. It will put out the flames right away and its repair consumable will prevent it catching fire again for maybe 10 seconds or so? So after it starts burning, I immediately switch to another battleship and shoot that till I receive another of those ribbons which indicates I set it on fire. While the second battleship puts those flames out, I set the first battleship on fire again and this time it will not put out the flames! :D Put 2 or 3 fires if you have the time, then set another BB on fire. If you have no Zikasas to targets as cruiser, either shoot catapults or set fire on the trailing Zikasas for a few extra points. Remember that shooting the trailing Zikasas is not needed to win the 5 stars, they can be ignored :) Do NOT trail behind the trans ship as it is difficult to catch up again! The battleships should shoot AP exclusively. Battleships should either stay very very close to the trans ship or a bit in front of it to be a bit of a meatshield for the trans ships and the destroyers which should be frantically moving around in front of you and outside the green repair circle. Your primary objective will be to shoot catapults! You'll do insane amount of damage to the catapults! Afaik the catapults won't catch fire btw. Second objective is to shoot battloeships, especially the closest ones! Once the Rasputin spawns, kill it. Try to shield the trans ship with your fat armored belts and use your repair consumables as soon as it recharges as the Rasputin deals an insane amount of damage and has a fast reload xD If you absolutely have to, RAM it! xD But know that the Rasputin will probably survive and you will die, but you'll do maybe 50k damage to the Rasputin. If you're about to die anyway (especially if Rasputin is targetting you all the time), it's better to kamikaze against the Rasputin then to shoot onew more salvo. The cruisers and destroyers should also target the Rasputin. As Destroyers, you'll probably be targetted first. Stay more then 2km away and use smoke to conceal yourself if Rasputin is trying to terminate you as Rasputin seems to shoot destroyers first. Use your smoke to hide the trans ship, also at the very end! Torp all the time and keep an eye out for any leftover Zikasa as a single Zikasa getting to the green circle will mean you will not get 5 stars. Cruisers should continu to shoot all the red stuff, set everything ablaze (including the left over Zikasas). That's all the tips I can give to the people here :)

First time I posted in this topic because I'm not that good anyway xD But I have a very nice mention for a battle with the halloween ships and I really wanted to mention this. After having some bad luck with the test server rewards (needed the flags and the premium time with the 100% this weekend) and a long stroke of poor teams which didn't complete the missions at all, I asked a clan member for help and we ended up with an ace team that managed to get 5 stars with the trans ship not receiving any damage at all!! For anyone wanting to know how it's supposed to be done, the attached replay is a good template I think. I did make screenshots of me playing on the test server and WG can see for themselves I don't have premium account right now (or at least I assume they can see that ^^) so I cannot have received the rewards as I should have gotten 2 days premium and only could claim since yesterday. I don't have screenshots of the first webpage where it said I received the rewards as I clicked on to next pages and couldn't click back to that page again after I had noticed the rewards never made it to my account on the live server :( The second page I already put a few copy pastes and I kept those open :) This is only the second test server thingy I participated in and I did fill in all the questionaires, so I did do my part :) Even kept the clan and played a couple extra clan battles, just for the heck of it! :D

I just tried it again after having "succesfully" gotten my rewards last evening but not having gotten them ingame, but this time I get the I still haven't received the rewards ingame :( And I messed something up woops! xD
