If you happen to have a replay, I'd love to see it from your side of the story! I attached my replay, for your enjoyment to see our chat (though nothing really spcial happened in it I think). I did notice your BBs being all the way on the left side of the map and your DDs and cruisers seemingly basically doing all thw work, then suddenly there were several BBs including a Fuso, a Bayern and a tier 5 BB along with some torp bombers. As I approached B I kept near the mountain to make work a little bit harder for the torp bombers to torp me, afterwards I turned into the torps and then repaired. I just made the best of it and hadn't even noticed my damage and kills till right before Butterdoll got bombed. it was a very close battle and a single salvo could've changed everything But by all means attach your replay of the same battle, I will watch it with pleasure! I met @Butterdoll while taking my new New Mexico out for a spin. I hand't even noticed he was there and it wasn't the first time I bumped into him. Luckily we were on the same team as the enemy team's Budyonny met the ends of my barrels and even though the game seemed to become a sub-10k-damage victory at first for me (I was trailing everything, not really good), I ended up helping our team to victory by getting 4 kills, including 2 DDs, and doing over 86k damage (thanks to the advices people gave me a couple weeks ago, I improved my fighting skills and it paid off ^^). Alas, both of us were killed and Butterdoll died within the last 10 seconds of the timer running out. He had a good game as well :) Till next time Butterdoll!

Nvm, for some reason it worked. For anyone wondering, after you type the "@" sign, start typing the person's name and a list should start to appear. I really have no idea why I couldn't seem to get it to work earlier.

Sometimes you get nothing for weeks/months. And then you get 2 SCs within a couple days. This time I got gifted with a month premium, I'm happy!! :) ..except that now I need to keep playing for another month! xD

I certainly hope not If I sold mine, I probably refitted the captain to another ship.

Hadn't gotten a SC for a long while (except for a SC on the test server a few tests ago) and couple days ago I gotten 100x the +50% flags. I've never gotten a ship by SC :(

I hope the tier 6 Dallas I already have Pensacola.

I still wonder what will happen to the second aniversary camo on tier 8?

I'd tend to consider this more a complaint vs the weekend warriors and even though I agree that sometimes the missions are just not very tactially thought out (so to say), most are quite fun and not too hard with the reward being that mere mortals like me can get some nice camo's and free XP and other rewards. The rewards are very useful and without them, I'd have less incentive to bother with these weekend warriors. It's not just the performance (now I understand where all the complaining of BBs hugging borders comes from..and in a tier 8 battle at that) but to me it's more the verbal abuse of these players. I think it requires a different approach as it's pretty much useless for a nimble average dude like me to try and push the rest into victory. But I haven't discovered this approach yet, and so I suffer the wrath of the weekend warriors.

Tried again and I got into the game now :)

1. Description The game crashes when the game is busy logging in after name and password have been entered. The crash occurs at the login screen. It was fine yesterday, 3 attempts resulted in 3 crashes. 2. Reproduction steps Start World of Warships so that the little blue newswindow containing the "Play" button in the bottom right corner. Then press the Play button and let the game load until it arrives at the screen that asks for login details. Fill in the login details then let the game continu to log in. 3. Result After having logged in, this error pops up and the game has to be exited. 4. Expected result I expected to have entered my harbor. 5. Technical details Around 10AM CET (roughly 10 minutes ago). I added the entire content of the crash directory as an attachment and also included the error message that pops up after which the game has to be closed. crashes.zip

How about "solving" the BB sniper mapborder problem by making shots from very close to maximum range extra inaccurate so the players get even less xp and credits compared to what they get now when they camp the borders of the map? Theres factors like wind that affect accuracy, right? The further a shell has to travel, the less likely it will hit the exact spot it was going to when the shell was originally fired. Just making sniping from extreme range more frustrating then getting hit and sunk at close range and players will go in closer by their own will, problem solved Do cruisers really perform so badly compared to BBs? I thought the difference wasn't really very great?

I knew I remembered that name from somewhere? Just played some Aegis and it was pretty uneventfull with over half the team dead and 4 stars :). Skyllon ended up being top dog in his Ryujo And I can't figure out how to get the blue forum stuff working xD

I wonder if there's also a captain oblivious?

I found this other forum where people were posting drawings of paper ships and it too had some pictures blocked now. But all the more reason to use local hosting instead. It's also annoying there is no link included to the original picture, or at least not one that I can see?

I only see that photobucket messages about updating your account. That's all I see.

Who is this?

This op definitely seems different and apart from the bugs that are fixed, it seems to be harder up to a point of not being that enjoyable anymore. This isn't a challenge anymore, it seems more like a senseless slaughter where ships get damaged faster then they can heal. So far I've only managed to get 3 stars once and ALL other attempts ended in failures. The BBs will try to go top right to intercept these Atlantas and then need to rush to defend the towers which are being attacked by destroyers. In the mean time a pensacola in the south goes around the large island (the one with the many gaps in it) and shoots down the southern stream of incoming planes (I think) but by then the cruisers are rushing north or west to assist the dire situation there. By this time there's often 2 ships already dead (mostly cruisers) and a massive fleet of battleships moves toward the reapir zone, followed by heaps of destroyers which include the whiskeys. The repair zone can barely be used due to getting flooded with enemy destroyers, there is simply no time and the team whithers away. Usually I get so busy with trying to salvage something out of this situation that I only managed to SEE the Raptor twice, let alone it getting attacked or destroyed. When playing cruiser I played a Fiji and went to the right side border of the map and then quickly managed to attack the southern Atlanta, but then I also barely have time to get anywhere in time, let alone use the repair zone. Personally I think this mission is too hard and not too enjoyable because of this. This could be an enjoyable mission for the really good players but with randoms this mission will end up getting filled up with players who need 6 good players to bring them through.

So I thought of this suggestion. We can buy premium camo so our silver ships become more like premium ships when it comes to XP and credits gained, but if one has finished grinding a ship, how about also being able to then use gold to purchase flagship facilities for elite silver ships, effectively turning them into captain training ships like premium ships? I don't even know if this is a good idea or not, but it would fit the theme of wows quite well I think
