I do like ops themed like Hermes, but frankly I'd prefer to have sufficient ops for all relevant ships first. New ops's don't come often, kidan a waste to have to wait for like 2 months or so just to find out I got only 2 ships or so I can enter them with. I do want to specify that I do like the idea of operations for certain classes, maybe something with destroyers or an operation where BBs can shine? Or carriers? Some operation with (just to name something out of the ordinary) 3 human carriers having to protect some convoy or something? Or tier 6 carriers (escort carriers) along with some higher tier gunned escort ships.

Absolutely! But I do think that old Cleveland and Atlanta have kinda similar playstyles already, except Atlanta is much more squishy and has radar.

I also finished Hunt for Bismarck, yesterday morning after months of doing missions for the containers! I don't have Bismarck yet, need to finish Bayern and then go through Gneisenau but I'm happy to have gotten another tier 8 camo (looking forward to the bottom version for some reason ). For some reason the Lima camo reminds me of ice cream but I like it.

I'm not even sure when this new tier 8 operation will arrive, got too much brain fog atm but I did know that wasn't gonna arrive as it wasn't on PTS yet (though I didn't see the Dallas on most recent PTS either). I might get it as it's the only BB that doesn't get hit by Asashio torps (no just kidding ). I'd much prefer to get an Alaska though, though I don't know how it could match up to Kronstadt. I got time to think about it, still at only 500k fxp after I bought Musashi. At this moment there are missions that last until 29th of mai 7am. But at what time will these missions reset? Do these reset at the time of the main server reset at 4am as well? It would leave me with a window of opportunity to do a resetted mission from 4am till 7am (yes it's crazy but sometimes it's nice to know that I can do this on my more insomniastical nights )

I given some of my own stats the past couple weeks, including the stars and the composition of the players and ships they played. I actually screenshotted all of the games and the results.

I did end up trying twice UF. It kinda went like this: First battle was basically a one off with Atlanta. At the loading screen I was gifted by the presence of a 4-man single clan div! In the end I died while on the way to the repair zone, but did end up with 90k damage (yes I was a bit too careless apparently). I decided to go to harbor and it was a loss. I was actually 1st, the 4-man div was 2nd to 5th and the 2 random peeps were 6th and 7th in the list Then I got dragged into UF again by 2 clanmates and I took Atlanta again. One of them took a DD but I know he's a very good player and he really did a great job making his torps actually hit a lot! But still it bcame a loss as our team crumbled due to attrition and the airfield got destroyed by one of the final waves. I simply did not have enough firepower, they came sailing from the east and I was in repair zone with Atlanta again. Another loss. 171k damage done this time. So it's really not for me, this ops.

Lets not start calling normal mode the "potato mode", shall we? And about the rewards for hard mode...perhaps the reward for hard mode shouldn't actually be a lot higher then for normal mode anyway, but perhaps a bit more unique (like getting some unique single use camo for a win or something, like in a personal mission as been suggested before). Otherwise the purple unicorns will simply start farming hard mode and then what's the point of nerfing normal mode? If it was the purple unicorns that gotten like 20k fxp each Narai or something, then in a way they are to blame for the removal of Narai. I never gotten such ludicrously high fxp rewards from Narai for each battle. Besides, lowering the reward may not stop freeloaders from entering anyway, they may start entering hard mode. This is actually an interesting topic, in other games adding a hard mode did change ingame economy in sometimes significant ways. I don't actually like operations more then randoms. I like them roughly equally much, actually a slight preference for randoms as I can also use more ships and have more map diversity. But I don't like having PvP only as a viable way to, for instance, get a couple daily crates quickly because I don't feel like grinding through my lines that day. BY at least getting some of the daily crates through operations I at least can relax a bit more while still not feeling useless and often teammates in operations are actually tons of fun and odd stuff still happens (I kid you not ). The diversity is one of the main strengths of this game. Lets not forsake this for to cater to the top 0.1% purple unicorns wanting exclusive farming rights in hard mode and things like ranked. I think everyone has a right to have fun in a game. I don't play WoWS to get purple, but of course I always try to win or at least get the sens that I'm actually accomplishing something. The learning curve is an interesting one. And I get what you say about people going through tiers 6 and 7 in operations. Obviously this may be true, but don't forget that from coop you can grind them also and people actually do grind through lines in coop. Ever seen someone use pretty camo and dragon flags in coop? Yes I have! So let them. And without potatoes in any teams, there would never be easy targets for both of us to farm About the skill level, I don't think scenarios were meant to teach people about PvP. I think it shouldn't actually. Let PvE exist besides PvP, it will be for the benefit of the game as a whole. Actually, one of my friends gotten to Cleveland just so we can play scenarios together, he doesn't really seem to care for PvP, he's more a PvE and maybe training room guy. But he does spend money into the game and is more likely to convert xp instead of farming fxp for free like purple unicorns do

Except for the new permanent campaign being added to the game and the cruiser split, I wanted to say I very much like the new spotted ribbon! I do hope that things like capping and tanking and area denial and other forms of disruption of the enemy also gets more rewarded And btw, having a more passive playstyle is not a bad thing in itself. It may not be for some but WoT overextended on the brawling instead of the positionary gameplay and they lost me due to that. It wasn't even the toxicity of WoT that chased me away, it was the eradication of positional gameplay that made me quit WoT for good and I hope WoWS never will do the same.
