I mentioned it before elsewhere on the forum, but last year I was kinda getting the short end of the stick I've grinded a lot during this Go Navy enevt and while it was fun, I'm also glad that it was temporary. But at least I won't be needing to be online like every day. Other then that, I can really use some extra captains so those are welcome

One can also check skillsets on the wows wiki. It's what I typically do. I basically only use the commander skill program if I want to pre-calculate my future captain skillsets that I intend to max out.

Sailing in my CM and succesfully dodging some Asashio torps and then catching some Amagi shells semi-broadside I got away with it though

Competitively speaking, symmetrical maps are the way to go. Frankly, I would've loved to try out the left icy map over there. Heck, I've even advocated some counter map to Ocean, filled with islands. Kinda like the map Shatter, but the whole map a bit like the middle cap area. Yes I play lots of BB!

I actually do like maps that are not completely symmetrical. Obviously harder to balance, but such maps are as if they are 2 different maps, depending on which side you spawn. I'm not against gimmicks by themselves...but it's the same as with just the radars: Too much and it spoils the game. I even made a new thread about which gimmicks could potentially be introduced, but that doesn't mean that I'd prefer things to go that way. I don't like how French cruisers are getting nerfed for the reload gimmick, especially since it's a non-radar line and there's already so much complaints about too much radar in the game. I feel like they had better introduced a new line with the reload booster, the French cruisers were fine as they were. I do like the added reload booster for the lower tier French cruisers though, even though imo it matters little. For instance, if WG were to introduce a whole new line, omne example of something that I'd like would be a line of German BCs with the gameplay characteristics of Kongo and maybe Hood (don't have a Hood myself but it seems kinda similar) without all the extra gimmicks. I'd love a tech tree line like that! I was also glad they made a whole tech tree line that was kinda similar to Atlanta (USN CL line) but the higher tier maps are a bit on the open side I think?

I had actually wanted to buy the eagles camo for Wooster, but only noticed I needed eagle tokens when I tried to exchange 125 shark tokens I ended up with the Wooster camo, but would've gotten a DM camo if I had the chance. But overall, nice event and as been mentioned before, it offered a LOT of flexibility to play the way you wanted (heck, even scenarios and coop were rewarded! So even grinding stock modules I didn't miss, out so to say). So overall, nice event! Btw, just ftr, I didn't miss a single offer to switch teams. It was a bit late at some days but I've even had days where I had like 300 points ona single day and even then I had gotten the offer to switch (which I refused in order to max out my loyalty).

I gotten my remaining 50 tokens this morning (yes I was still awake) and spend them on 10 eagle containers. It's still available in the arsenal I do think that they should've left the premium containers and the Go Navy items available for a week or so after the event itself was over though. I was kinda confused as to how long these containers were to be available? For me this was a reason to play it safe and first get a premium camo ASAP and afterwards spend all my tokens right away I might have considered getting a second permacamo (would be like €15 for the containers I would've needed to spend? Even if it's for tier 10 ships I don't even own yet) if I had more time to think about stuff. I usually don't like having to make rush decisions under pressure of time and this usually makes my spending pattern more conservative. But perhaps another time

I actually like the revolutionary camo, they are a bit in between Ocean Soul (+100%xp and +20% credits) and the old Gamescom (+50% xp and +50% credits) and last weekend actually made me broke due to buying a couple new ships to cruise with So the revolutionary for +30%, wyvern +50% and zulu +20 credit boosters are a nice thing to put on my USS Moneymaker Oh yes I remember that mission! I spotted 6 torps in coop before I died (and guess how I died....yup! ). I think WG made the higher tiers somewhat more rewarding (in a sloping way, gradually more reward for each tier stepped up) to prevent tier 5 from getting overfarmed. Imo it was the right decision, but it did mean I had a HARD time grinding my tier 8 ships (particularly my 2 tier 8 German ships).

What I don't like is the nerfing of some tier 9 tech tree ships while ships like Stalingrad are added. It's the longest grind and I'm not going to fxp through the potato ones is not something I would find fun in a game. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind some power dispersity (like a tree where some ships are more potato and other in the same line are pleasantly good, like the IJN BB line (except Izumo that thing needs to DIE! )), but when tier 9 ships are supposed to be frustrating so it becomes a money sink for people who want the tier 10 ship, not a fun game to me.

I noticed that of the old harbors (thanks for that! I tried all of them! ), the Halloween 2015 and Halloween 2016 harbors are in the mod, but the Halloween harbor of 2017 is missing? Will the Halloween 2017 harbor ever be added to Aslains mod? I really miss it, including the port music And is there anything I could do to help? I have plenty of basic experience with modding and with messing around with the WoWS/WoT file structures.

And when you buy the permacamo for any of the techtree Russian BBs, at the start of every battle, a choir of 200 rusky sailors will appear on the front deck and sing the Soviet national anthem for the entirety of the match!

And they have slightly raised citadels. And armor made of a mixture of Stalinium and Trollium

Oh and they have relatively weak AA...BUT most will receive a weak version of DefAA with +150% damage that lasts for 80 seconds (premium version lasts 120 seconds).

Super accurate railgun guns with improved overmatch angles. Armor that has better autobounce angles vs incoming shells. Standard BB heal, but heals 33% of citadel damage (tiers 9 and 10 heal 75% of citadel damage). Repair Party Reload Booster. All USSR BBs have an internal extra +5% dispersion vs enemy shells fired at them, build right into the ship EDIT: Decks and superstructure are made out of asbestos

You can run out of camos, but when you got none left then you can buy single ones. The halloween camos could be gotten in halloween containers last year, so he probably bought tons of those? The Ocean Soul camos were probably some deal in the premium shop, but perhaps Juanx will help and solve this little riddle of us

By chance I played a game with NM yesterday and it's still a nice ship to play I think. I do find its reload a bit slow at 34 seconds. And of course it's a laugh, whenever someone asks for support I'll go "Ok! I'll be there in 6 months! :D" But I'm not going back to Colorado, that was such a nasty grind that it ended up taking forever Its guns were also not as impressive as NM ones.

How about AP bombs?

Same thing here I was wondering if I had to set an alarm clock just to be able to spend the tokens quick that I would have received like an hour before the event were to end, so the extra day is nice. I'm gonnan spend all remaining tokens on crates, not getting a second permacamo (even though I considered it).

It might be players who used lots of camos to go through the tech tree quickly. Perhaps they ran out? You could buy the anniversary camos last year I believe? I don't see why he's complaining about having too much of the stuff that he actually bought himself? His anniversary camos are getting buffed soon, so he should be happy It's kinda like buying 5000 books and then complaining about your bookshelf being so overpopulated

It's not strange when one considers those particular operations are limited by nation. Boise is of an allowed nation and Nueve is not. That's all, basically. Even if the Neuve were (just for purpose of making a point) already sold by the USA before the fall of France, it would still not be allowed as it's not the correct nation. At least that's how I see it. But what this operation is concerned, it's limited for certain nations, Nueve is not within these limits, thus not allowed.
