I play CV mostly in operations and yes I enjoy it . Sometimes I play CV in coop. Frankly, I'd be more a liability to the team in randoms due to how good some of the other CV players are. These weren't even those rigged divisions with 1 CV and 2 AA cruisers in a team. The first battle we lost the north west cap and I ended up kiting most of the battle while the rest of my team (which did in fact manage to cap the south eastern cap iirc) melted away. I gotten one of those tanking awards because I almost died even while doing so little damage, trying to do more would just have meant me dying sooner and giving less time to the rest of the team while half of them were chasing me The second game I was actually at the one cap that our Shima managed to take for our team. I had set 2 fires and both times enemy used DC to put the single fire out, then I was not able to set another fire. Then our Shima died and I was backing away from the C cap (which by then was being taken by team red) and the game basicaly ended right there. From my stats one can see I'm more an average player and I was actually underperforming in these 2 battles, but there was little I could do in either game anyway. (at least I wasn't sniping in the back ). But anyway, usually I do better

This. It was pretty much an even match till our CV decided to bork out of the game. Like I mentioned before, we even had a cap advantage, partially thanks to our shima (who I was assisting actually at cap C).

Lol? First game I think it's clear how OP a unicum Saipan is. You know perfectly well how OP carriers are in general and how much influence they have. The last game we actually had a cap advantage (yes it was slight, but an advantage is still an advantage) and you can even see someone complaining about their CV owning us, how can anyone conclude from that that their CV didn't matter?

I think nobody mentioned anyone here is a god? And Flamu was not the only one complaining about Alaskas guns. iChase was kinda weird to watch, as he mentioned it was a delightful ship to play even though he visibly had trouble keeping his guns trained on his target several times when he started making turns. I watched Flambass's stream today and he also had some things to say about its guns, but all CCs also mentioned good things about Alaska and my general feel is that it would require relatively minor buffing. I understood the streamers I watched mentioned things like buffing its conceilment, RoF, accuracy and turret traverse. And something about fuse time? The underwater citadel doesn't seem to make the ships take too little damage and it can actually be citadelled more easily then from what one would expect from a ship with a citadel that sits so deep under the waterline. But Alaska definitely wins in the looks department!

Well, OP does have a point, even though I don't fully agree with the way he presented his argument. Here's some examples of how badly CVs affect gameplay in a bad way, how OP they are and what kind of 'gameplay' the rest of the team has to put up with: Yesterday: Today: Yes, our CV killed himself. GAME OVER no matter how hard the other 11 tried And yesterday our Ranger got pitted against a Saipan player from OMNI. GAME OVER no matter how hard the other 11 tried. I tried to wipe the names of the CV players, especially the suiciding one, for obvious reasons. If I missed anything, please let me know. So really, the CV gameplay of today has to go. It's too powerful a class and the OP premiums only make it worse and players simply don't want to have to deal with this type of nonsense anymore. And I can understand that. Frankly, I don't like losing this way

How could you use 4 of the new flags each match? Maybe you miscalculated? But great for you that you went through such a fine ship in just 11 battles Atm I'm a bit short on ecxp and on credits, but not short on unlocked tier 9 ships that I can't purchase right now and also not have either the captains or the ecxp required for what I intent to achieve with them.

I have missed out on a couple boxes though. 183k ecxp is a pretty good deal actually. And like I said, the voiceover is nice. She will cost 25 of those signal flags, that doesn't seem like a bad deal to me. But to each his own But I'm actually considering getting just the one Dasha and the rest will go to signals, thanks for your advice

How? I got 30 of them from the collection I completed yesterday and maybe 20 more from the gift boxes? I do want at least 1 Dasha captain (I REALLY like the voice over!), I'm divided on either another Dasha, that cool camo for that Brit cruiser or more of those signal flags

Since I had no tier 10s (so no supercrates) and just under 1k battles played (so no special flags), it's kinda hard to make it worse for me then last year But I still was able to make good use of the permacamos of last years collection, more so then the 30x credit signals, 10 camos and the 25 +50% credit signals I added to my stack of 72 +50% credit signals, so it's actually been worse to me compared to last year (though I can actually use some extra credits right now, so not all is bad). Lets hope for the best

There is also a clip of Flamu, cussing his terrible dispersion of Alaska. And it seems a bit like it's mostly a good ship compared to the tech tree tier 9 cruisers due to the tech tree tier 9 cruisers being so bad generally speaking. Turret traverse almost the same as Missouri, same conceilment as Kronstadt (I thought Russian cruisers got railguns in exchange for worse conceilment, Alaska doesn't get better conceilment for its slower shells so will miss more often). Kronstadt in game has 18.5 second reload and 24% fire chance. So Alaska atm has 20 second reload with 19% fire chance? I already have Missouri and would prefer a ship that is fun to play

I agree with this. There will be several new ships soon,better wait it out a bit

This vid is imo one of the best vids about how to play BB properly. It's an Iowa vid, but you can kinda copy paste it to any BB on how to play a bit more campy without becomming a back sniper and how to be a relevant BB player. Go watch this one

This week of Cherry Blossom was good for me I didn't get 600k fxp, but I still did very well while grinding only the last bit of Cleveland and after that the entire Chapayev from stock to elite in a mere 2 1/2 days while gaining roughly 300k fxp And just to show my most luckiest battle with the most xp boosters but pretent it is just a mere average battle to me, I added this screenshot which was my newest record game, thank you very much Cherry Blossom!

This In some games you just have all odds stacked against you, it's hilarious! Laugh it off, the penalty is kinda minor anyway (unless you're a repeat offender). Well at least you saved him from death by the enemy
