Why does he use no camo on only his Zao? It doesn't make a lot of sense and has little connection to actually keeping camos

Black and Flint have been available for steel for much longer. Apparently steel ships follow different rules. Frankly, I think the removal of FXP ships after a year was not even planned as such from the start, but it kinda evolved this way due to stuff.

They did this as an extra for players who support the game by buying said premiums or who are in some way dedicated to the game. Even without this particular mission completed, you should still have a spare one you can skip.

I try to keep at least 10 of every camo and tend to use up the ones I have the largest stock of first, but it depends a lot on what I want from the camos statswise. I tend to prefer raw xp boost for grinding ships and commander xp for ships that have no use for xp anymore. And keeping at least one of each around is for me the fastest way to look up how any particular camo looks on my ships when equipped. And you can use camos for free in training room as it should never subtract a camo when used in there.

But you probably don't even know how well the Kobayashi camos did sell. And there's no way to know for sure how well a space camo skin would sell, if only because the prices might even be higher due to licencing stuff. But of course 'everybody' knows about the wave motion gun

You didn't play the WoT classic? it was just like it used to be Too bad this server lasted only till 2 days ago. And btw, I did manage to extract the WoT sounds yeeeeaaars ago, back when the SU-152 still had the very cool DJOOOMMMMM gun sound before they changed it into a more realistic (but more bland and booring) one. I actually still use that sound fine in one of my mods EDIT It was this sound here: except that it was actually 2 sounds used, one for 1st person and another one for 3rd person. I had wanted to also extract the awesome Yamato gun sound, but the extractor tool for some reason keeps borking or locks up (while running at 100% on one core in the background). I never managed to get it working, as so many problems may be the cause of this and I didn't feel like troubleshooting more then I had already done (spend hours several days trying to extract those sounds, downloaded several tools and versions yada yada and then nvm ).

This may be because the sound modding tools are very hard to use to anyone with at least a decent amount of modding experience. I tried several times to extract the sounds and I never managed to make it work, even though I have over 20 years of experience modding PC games, including some relatively simple mods for WoT. So I never even succeeded in extracting the sounds, so I gave up in the end.

Sounds like a shame that I never even knew about it.

I hope this one won't remain fake for much longer The thing is, yes they could make a new 3D model for a ship that is technically supposed to be an identical twin sister anyway, but what good would that do? If they were to copypaste Kongo and sell it as a tier 5 premium Kirishima or whatever, I'd be perfectly fine with it. But what @CptBarney is describing, would be more of an issue to me. To limit tech tree ships on purpose, just so they can sell a premium variant of it (like removing a gun caliber or otherwise nerf a tech tree ship and then a couple days later it's like "But wait! There is more! :D Because now you can get the old pre-nerf ship or tank back for the steal of a price of only 300 middlefingers! :D". Then yes of course this would be a dirty cashgrab.

What did that site do?

Port lag seemed to be a little bit less, but it seemed to return in full swing once I opened up the operations channel. The lag spikes are back and frankly, I kinda miss that channel so I don't want to close it. But I can barely do the clan battles this way as it takes literally 30 seconds or more for some of the typed messages to even appear on my or their screen. It's basically the same lag spikes, everything freezes, then windows load circle (along with whitish fog indicating the program seemed to have locked up), then it turns completely black before finally returning to the ui. Sound seems to not start to stutter or anything. I still suspect it has something to do with either the contact list (as many people in the operations channel are on my contact list) or in the way the game checks online status or something. The lag seems to get majorly reduced if the contact list is almost empty, like on my PTS and other accounts. It's definitely to do with the contact list (and possibly also the black list). I noticed the same thing and thought it was because of my potato screen (an older 32in screen but with a significantly lower screen resolution compared to yours). And if you receive more karma, you may have a slightly elevated chance at getting a super container!

Riding the edge of the map =/ camping. Playing selfish does not manifest into only the type of gameplay as you described in only this class of ship and playing swelfish is not what I am advocating as such in my post. What you are describing is again not something that I typically see or typically was referring to in my post. Your post is starting to sound more like a cop-out or something at this point. I don't even remember having ever seen a 300% weekend. I have seen the 200% ones a couple times but back when I started the 100% weekends were basically standard issue

Well, this premium is literally described as the tier 10 silver ship, but at tier 9 and with some stats nerfed and it being a premium. I'm not sure what WG is currently up to regarding Kreml and Slava, so I don't really know what you are referring to.

That's not dissimilar to basically everything else in the game and was not what I meant. I'm not gonna jump on your bandwagon, my question about the purpose of this ship is how it plays and how we will be able to get one.

But if she's gonna be similar to the WIP Conqueror, it's more likely that this one will also turn out to be a dud.

I do hope this ship makes it in. I've been wondering what purpose this will get. Hoping it's gonna be a FXP ship and will be fun to play while being decent and at least more agile then Iowa But...I don't know what role this ship is supposed to fill in.

I'm interested in seeing how playable Georgia will become and how she will be accessable to the players.

Looks like a nice camo. it does look a little bit blander compared to the other Kabayashi camos (not talking about the beercan). Overall I've liked the Kobayashi camos and especially the choice of color for the Roma one (the colors, not the can! ).
