I actually did refrain from doing ANYTHING in chat. No pinging either. When I see things go toxic I tend to do this as a standard. I can't be absolutely certain I did get negrepped due to that one battle, but I did have 1 less then the day before and this was my first battle.

I tend to do spam karma sometimes (either + or -), if only because I don't play too many battles lately and I'd rather not let my precious karma go to waste

I think overall it balances out for me. I get +1 here and -1 there, but overall it takes like a month just to get up maybe 5 karma points or so. An example is me playing my first game of the day in Ryujo in Aegis and there being a div of 4 with 1 of them in a DD (who actually did a pretty good job, except that his torps caused many of the bots to start evasive action which messed things up a bit). I hadn't said a word by that time when the DD suddenly said "report the cv" and I honestly had no idea why he even said that. He hadn't asked for help or anything. Later he asked me to attack the Fuso instead (which happens quite regularly) but they don't really get the point that this will only cause me to loose all my planes with hardly getting any damage, while it's also a longer flight. So I fly longer for less gain. I did end up sending some planes there to die qhen the game ended and yep, I was negrepped. Course I send the entire div my regards as well. Didn't really make me feel better. Sometimes I think some of the kids should simply be excluded from this karmasystem altogether or something. Except that it doesn't really matter anyway.

Wait, didn't we actually debate this statement earlier at one time? Or was it with somebody else? Anyway, someone said that negrepping did absolutely nothing, which isn't actually true. It does 2 things: You (should) loose 1 karma and in certain conditions it can result ina 1 day chat ban, iiuc.

My last really tight game was yesterday when I took out my Pepsi (because I couldn't carry the potatoes with Alaska and lost 3 in a row even though I ended within the top 3 of my ahem.... "team" ... all of those games). Too bad our CV was spamming "Supply AA support" or something, I mean literally the entire game. In the end it was 2 vs 2 carriers and we won because our spammer CV managed to not die as the timer ran out. Very very close (with some of my teammates very very close to losing their sanity due to the literally continuous and uninterrupted F-key spam).

He had very bad throat issues. He also skipped a couple streams because of this and his voice (or what was left of it) was really something you could do without And come on, you can survive a week without your standard issue potatium injections, right?

I can see this being part of some people's games, actually.

I hope it was this guy's chat mod that was malfunctioning or something. And perhaps you would be surprised to hear it, but for several different reasons it is actually quite reasonable to consider that not everyone actually can ignore everything.

I remember the 30 second timer counting down, looking at the match-up (and particularly the carriers in both teams) and thinking "loss " before the counter reaches 0.

I wouldn't mind no new content too much, as due to the port ui lag I can't really enjoy the current content to its full potential anyway. Like wanting to text someone after a battle and then having to deal with the lagging port ui. Iirc this was mentioned before, but it wasn't seen as a priority at the time and I think this was a mistake. Or take the spamming of F key commands. Yesterday I had a battle where one Furious kept spamming "Provide AA cover" or something and it was pissing several people in my team off to no end. I did block him etc, but ended up simply muting all ingame sound as there was no way to stop it and this is really not inviting to the game for new players either. It could actually be used to undermine the game by bots or something. Thankfully it's quite unusual to see this level of spamming, but the port ui lag is basically every time I try to do stuff while in port.

Well, the spotting ability was actually one of the major complaints of the post-rework carriers. And it was actually the fighters that made some of these premium carriers OP. And I'm glad that they are gone now (lets hope it stays that way and there isn't another messup).

Doesn't sound much different from the carriers from before the rework, except perhaps that they are not stupidly OP anymore.

I just updated the PTS and tried to log in, but it asked for a server or something? I had PTS selected, it's its own server so I didn't understand what it wanted (I was logged in into the game center, so I had no idea why it didn't want to log me in). I then tried by clicking the exe directly and at first it didn't accept my saved password and I had to retype it. After having retyped the password, it seemed to log me in and it's been stuck at the rotating anchor symbol for the last 5 minutes or so. EDIT I got in now. Restarted the client.

Iirc it was kinda the point to move the ships from the tech tree to the arsenal/armory. Azuma was added a couple days ago as tier 9 premium ship. That not new and high tier enough for you?

Yes, I just noticed it now. It said (9) for my personal assignments, which has been like this for months (basically my LM grinds) and only AFTER I clicked the personal assignments, do I see it changed from (9) to (21) But otoh I didn't intend to play much CB anymore thanks to stalingrad.
