Just to clarify my stance on the Thunderer: To me personally it always seemed like a hyped ship. I was never afraid of it and it is actually one of my most favored ships to see my enemy sail in because of how frail and relatively weak I find it when used in combat against me. In the end I did end up getting Thunderer juuuust as she was about to get removed (mostly because of that april fools joke actually) and I even regret getting it a little bit but I let others (who mention how great Thunderer is) sooth my feelings of buyersremorse. And I guess it's an extra 50 steel a year for the coal I spend on her. And now a ship I find relatively weak anyway is getting nerfed. Sure, this won't be a popular opinion here, but it is really what I think of Thunderer. I find ships like Yamato and Stalingrad to be more dangerous battleships.

True, but usually WG doesn't do anything without a reason (they may make balans logic mistakes, but from their PoV it makes a lot of sense and btw underestimating them at the logic level is not something I would recommend. Underestimation has always been a major fallacy, don't fall for that. And a lot of their logic is actually based on psychology (yes I know that sounds remote).

How are you convinced that I am even a bit surprised? That's quite an assumption. And WG making this change for the sole reason to help the n00bs out seems rather unlikely to me as well, especially given that apparently Thunderer got this nerf because of its combat effectiveness.

True. I know what I would think of this if I had been that Alaska. I wouldn't have been at all happy about it.

Yes perhaps, but if the ship was ineffective at those ranges then why nerf these ineffective ranges in the first place when they apparently implement the nerf because of how over-effective this ship supposedly was? That wouldn't make much sense.

No, because this video of that Alaska getting annihilated is kinda painful to watch. If they implement this weapon as is, this video is gonna propel them straight towards a new PR dumpster fire for sure as any gamer who knows what a health bar looks like will recognize what is going on here

And about this airdrop weapon? I am pretty sure that this is gonna get nerfed. Btw why can he drop multiple of those new air strike attacks simultaneously?

Perhaps you should get your history lessons straightened out a bit. Let me tell you a story there, young chap. About a group of ships that sailed up a guarded waterway, right into the most important naval site of the English, sunk a bunch of English ships, made the English poop their pants so hard that they sunk another bunch of their own ships themselves so the Dutch wouldn't have to, and then the Dutch stole the pride and flagship of the English fleet from under their noses, towed it all the way back to The Netherlands and basically used it as a tourist attraction (a paid one actually, lol) until the king of England basically asked the Dutch for mercy to stop using his namesake ship as a tourist attraction...which funnily enough was one of the result of a war he himself had started...and lost...against a country only 1/5th the size of the population of the country he was king of. Now if that isn't a cool naval history story then I don't know what is!

Me and 2 of my friends purchased Scharnhorst specifically for Narai. I did purchase Sims specifically for Dynamo, I can't even find my Sims anymore with that big pile of dust hiding her. I would never have bought Sims otherwise.

Yes they ar tottal cawwerds for not wanting to rush double mussashi and with noone to spot the eneemy deedees. That is what I can make of this. If you want good teammates, this is just not the game, sorry to tell you. But otoh, I can also see that this match was quite the slaughter. Tsk tsk

I can think of 1 good reason from WG's perspective to remove signal rewards for awards. It was quite easy to stack up on signals when having created a new account and purposefully staying below tier 5 for the maximum number of battles possible. I would guess that this may have something to do with this change.

I prefer to use those on people worth reporting. I never report someone for playing any particular ship or class, but I will if they for instance ping the map at my position (especially if it is meant as to rebuke my behavior, usually done when I am or have been chased across the map by a mob and trying to reposition and heal up again because I don't like to suicide just so some backline camper gets 30 extra seconds to farm his or her damage. Or people who start to get vocally abusive or in any other unsportsmanship-like conduct.

Personally I hope it is a messed up line of code (and btw not saying this is likely the case, nor saying this is unlikely to be the case).

Imagine a game where you are often left wondering post-battle with thoughts of "Wow....my random teammates were really good this time!" Could you imagine that!

I liked the old one better where the middlecircle was the most important place to be.

Not just that. It's also meant as a way to show your appreciation to another players without having to plow through the port gui to thank that player. It's easy and convenient to just right click and +1 for good play and it will always show up for the other player. Btw, most of the times I get reported, I don't get a mention that I am reported but I do see the number dropped by 1 (and sometimes 2).

Sounds like it was by players who simply don't like carriers and reported you for playing a carrier. Why would even a raging kid opt to report someone because of predropping? Doesn't make any sense to me. But people reporting CV players is something that I've seen quite often actually.

Well it has been solved. Apparently he added someone to his contacts and for some reason the port ui clicked my name instead, so it was all an honest mistake and apology accepted. All fixed by a quick discord chat, havea nice day :)

There was a mod that showed how much karma the other players had and about 2/3 of players would usually have none. And can still just add them to blacklist. Btw, your comment to the other guy in your screenshot is kinda begging an already agitated greenbeard to retaliate. If someone bothers me so much in the chat, I just block them right away. often I will have the courtesy to tell them I blocked them, but not always depending on how I think he will respond because some can take it fairly well, but some definitely can't. Usually any form of arguing with already upset people will not result in a good vibe for anyone involved and life is too short and precious to waste it on trivial stuff like that.

Tbf, the highest compliment one can get is getting banned because the server admin thinks you are hacking becuase you managed to kill him. Yours truely even managed to get banned because of knifing the server admin as he was laying down and sniping and didn't notice me coming up, got unbanned a while later and then knifed him again, got banned again this time permanently

Heh, I just happened to have noticed that all my old notifications were gone? Except for one from januarifebruari. Luckily I happened to stumble onto yours just now. I did more than that. About a month after I apparently wrote that, I basiclaly quit the game for a very long break. Only came back about a month ago and play 11 random battles losing all 11 of them. This isn't a team game anymore, winning is mostly just a lottery. Only over, say, hundreds of battles can solo winrate truely start to be effective but why would one want to go through this if the winning fix is so much easier to get in different games? I got 2 weeks of premium and still wanted to speak to a few people ingame, so I decided to come yolo for a bit but I have no intention right now to even start any kind of serious grind. Well perhaps if those Dutch cruisers will be fun or something but I still don't expect to play as much as I used to anymore. And part of this is because of how horrid this game has largely become. minirant:
