Just ran into @BLUB__BLUB while playing ranked sprint. He was in a BB and I was taking Sims out for a spin. It sure was a good way to start the day with a little conversation before going into the usual business of the day. SOme +1's went left and right and I actually had some fun in ranked for a change! While playing a savage battle, I bumped into @Mirek_25 (quite literally ) while playing my Seascythe for some first battle warming-up yoloramming For some reason he does show 58 forum activity? And last visit 7 hours ago, so it's safe to assume he does visit the forum frequently. He did manage 2 kills before running aground and in this mode, frankly, for me it's all about the yolo and I don't take this mode too seriously anyway as next time I'll be the one to do a Notser (and plenty off them ). One odd thing for me about this battle was that, even though I had 4 kills, I had a mere 2 torp hits in total I'm totally loving this game mod! Makes me feel like a battlestar ramming an entire colony!!!!!111 Cya later maybe, I'll go back to hiding now

The 2018 halloween crates were pretty lackluster though. I had €100 just waiting to be unleached after I had kinda felt sorry I didn't bite for the 2017 ones. And I ended up not buying any of the 2018 crates (partially because of the 1 credit thing on wows stream, which really pissed me off back then). But hey, I had just started playing wows for like a month or 2 back then, so not that strange to not want to invest huge amounts of money into a game that I didn't even know I was gonna like that much

I saw several streamers play Siegfried yesterday. The question that I have in my head is just how suuuper this cruiser will turn out to be

Or attack it by air, as Conq AA is not as good as it used to be. Conq also doesn't have the option of a catapult fighter, so it's still a juicy target to farm. And Conq can easily die if overextending. Once you used your heal and repair, you'd better go dark or you'll die fatser then any of the other tier 10 battleships. Lots of people like to put out single fires, even Conq players do this a lot. And they die for this a lot, too. And after next patch, just brawl it and hit its citadel. Even if you don't kill it, any citadel will cripple it for the rest of the battle, basically turning the superheal into a normal heal with extended cooldown. I think this is a bad change also because it will punish bad play the least, even though some people here may think this will not be the case. For me personally, it would me have a harder time getting all my guns to bear on targets at specific angles when at range, as even 1 or 2 citadel hits will basically make the potential heal advantage moot. And shooting from range with just the fore turrets is basically hardly worth the effort as the dispersion is so sh1t. I'll see how it will go. But I do wanna leave with a small gift loosely affiliated with what this thread is about. A screenshot I made a little while ago and which imo is just hilarious

Which is years ago. WG also acqknowledged the DD overpopulation much more recent (this year iirc) and thus set a soft limit at 4 DDs each team. And this was really needed. This is only a valid point IF angling alone is enough to avoid getting citadelled. There's still the brawling which the RN BB line will become significantly worse in and other things like AP bombs and maybe torp damage. And besides, there's more ships in this game which are hard or impossible to citadel, namely all destroyers, certain French cruisers and German battleships. So it's not just the citadel that is so unfun for some to play against. People want to see the RN BB line nerfed because they want to be able to put out single fires right away with their free consumables and without any consequence But anyway, this change is gonna happen. Lets just see what happenes next and if this time it's enough to dry the tears of all the crybabies. Seems to me they are encouraging people playing this line to snipe more, since getting too close will get you punished more.

Just 1 Solo Warrior. Got it in my very early days. Apparently it was when I played Wakatake as I was grinding it. The award doesn't show any date. I'm actually more proud that I got at least a single Clear Sky, as this award is unobtainable now. I got 20 unsinkables, yeah

This also happened to me once lately when playing a BB. After I had finally managed to get back in I was still alive, though only at 30% hp or so . Still managed to win

It will be a while before I get to the Gearing. I barely started my Fletcher grind and have kinda too much other things I 'need' to focus on. Would actually be nice if there was a new permanent campaign or 2 that I could work on at my leasure.

I'm loving Jutland! Its mayor drawbacks imo are its slow speed and its non-existant AA. It's very nimble, but rewards good planning/positioning and spotting for your team. All DDs are kinda OP. It's the most OP class in the game except maybe for carriers for now. I mean I did great in benson when the carrier rework had just been released and carriers still had RPF and the old rocket planes. But they have dumbed down DD gameplay a lot, which is making DDs played so much that WG had to set a soft cap of 4 per team and DD mains tend to yolo into the caps in basically every single game these days. It's just sad to see what has happened to DDs in the last year Bad/careless gameplay should be punished, but I see so many DDs openwater gunboat cruisers and then WG changes DDs so they get even more staying power. Personally I think it's retarded, but I'm not the one calling the shots here anyway.

From what I remember, it was always hard to 5-star with random plebs as usually the 3rd wave would manage to breach the perimiter before the main attack would begin. I didn't even realise it was the weekly this week as I usually stick to playing in divs from the ops channel these days, unless it is KW or Aegis. With Narai it's generally ok to go with a div of just 3 or so, provided the 4 random plebs do manage to kill off all the transports

Frankly, I do/did like the USSR cruisers, particularly Budy and Donskoi were a pleasure to grind (Donskoi actually being my most pleasurable tier 9 grind, maybe except Jutland). I found Lion to be at least somewhat better compared to Monarch, but it was still kinda limited due to having only 9 guns, its limited range and its German-like dispersion. It's survivability was really its redeeming factor imo. Regarding the new BB line. I started at tier 5 and it's basically a tech tree Cesare. I think I got regularly 100k+ games with Piotr while having a 6pt commander Izmail is almost as OP as the tier 5 ship is. Personally I found Sinop to be the worst one thus far in this line, or at least of all the ones I played random battles in. But Sinop is a beast in ops! A real animal! I'm at Vladi right now, but have not started its grind yet as other things and gamemodes are pre-occupying me for now. The German lines? I found all of them meh. Just meh. The BB line? Was fun till I finished Bayern (very few carriers around in those days) and it went downhill since. Mind you, I was rather new to the game. Bismarck was such a bad experience to me that I quit that line, grinded it in coop for a while and at the last bit I just free-expeed the whole line, just so I could get rid of it. Frankly, I think the German high tier ships are kinda sh1t. I really hated Bismarck and the terrible experiences it gave me I tried to love it...but no..... It was almost as bad as Izumo was, except that Bismarck is more good-looking. Lol. The German DD line is kinda meh for me. It requires a certain playstyle and imo its only redeeming factor is its hydro. But it's just not a fun line for me. The German cruisers? They were ok or sh1t depending on the ship. Köningsverg and Nürnberg were fun and Yorck was actually really fun for me (and this was pre-nerf too). But Hipper? Second worst ship and grind in the game after the pre-buffed Izumo. So all in all I think the German tech trees are the worst and skill-punishing ships in the game. They kinda reward yolo but not with rewards-by-skill (except maybe their DD line). And then there's Scharnhorst. It sure is fun, but just like Atlanta it's far from overpowered. But it has its uses in ops, which is basically the only German ship and game mode I play these days. Other old lines have been buffed here and there, like the USN BB line, IJN CC line and all DD lines. Especially the IJN CC line was much welcome to me and it does show that WG is not forgetting about all the older lines. The Soviet BB line and STalingrad being stronk, it may have other reasons which I'm not gonna get into in this post.

At this point I'm totally loving it!! I feel like a murdermachine! A murdermachine!!11! HAHAHAHA! Absolutely loving this game mode! In my opinion it's the second best special event game mode Wargaming has produced thus far, with the #1 spot being taken by the Glorious Sunray in the Darkness as nothing beats doing a million damage while dodging attacks from all sides while in a corrosive green mist, trying to sink that carrier that's hiding in the mists. Urashima is the best! But this game mode comes at a solid second place for me. Ramming and just murdering left and right, it's awesome! Much better then the space torp beats mode! ITS GREAT!

Iirc those accounts have other naming scheme. And if these were supertest accounts, they probably wouldn't behave in this exact way.

I played Raptor twice on PTS. First with Ryujo and later with Farragut as one thing that hasn't changes is that Raptor often dies at the last bit when the exit zone is bottom left corner. This ops seems harder for CV now and easier for DD. It's harder to snipe the enemy carriers with the CV now, so you need your teammates to shoot at the targets (which will probably mean that anyone going south will probably be unable to catch up to the main force in time and will spend the rest of the operation being useless) and if your teammates are simply not shooting the targets, your spotting will be meaningless. It seems to be easier to play Raptor with a DD now, but perhaps I have simply gotten better? Apart from that, the AA seems to have been correctly balanced for the other surface ships (noticably the first spawn) and I like this. For the rest, it seems to be pretty much like the old Raptor.

I wonder why botters would even want to focus on only German cruisers anyway? The bots in WoWS can actually be pretty good. In so much that they will make the game a lot more frustrating compared to the bad human players out there. I'm glad WG isn't using these bots in modes like coop. If I want a harder time I will play randoms or cb.

In one of the (many ) matches where I ran across NicramDuel, I happened to also run into @djfast, a clanmate of mine In case you ever visit the forums, NBTR said hi I'm pretty sure I ran across (many?) more in the savage battles, but when I play savage battles I tend to focus on getting kills and the upgrades and pay less attention to the names. My apologies in case I missed anyone
