Lots of blah blah, but the thing is that when I play randoms, Conquerors are never a big deal to me. And you forgot the easiest way to counter a Conq: To make them overextend. Really. If Conquerors are a problem to you, you just need to git gut. I don't care about Conquerors when playing ANYTHING as they have sh1tty dispersion. I don't even take head of one regardless of what ship I play. Jutland or any other DD? I look at their radars and their gunboats and theiur carriers. Cruiser? I look at their DDs and their carriers. BB? I look at their carriers and their DDs. Playing a Conqueror myselfr? I look at enemy Conquerors as they are the easiest ships to farm! Because most captains are stupid. If Conqueror is any problem to anyone, that person just needs to stop crying and needs to start gitting gut. And grow some character.

If you like tier 6 and 7 so much, have you considered finding groups for operations? Tier 6, I don't know which ships are great credit grinders, but at tier 7 Scharnhorst is a solid choice as it is good for both randoms and operations. If you also want to include tech tree ships, you'll get some extra options.

They are mostly n00b friendly because literally half the players playing tier 10 doesn't even bother to use premium consumables or the healing flag. Of course you will be far less efficient at mitigating fire damage if you nerf your own fire healing capacity by roughly 50% And like I mentioned, the whiners got their way. Conqeuror was never a problem to play against. Any he slinger can set you on fire no matter what angle you're at. And about your angle argument. It's stupid. Angling also makes you a smaller target and this definitely helps at avoiding getting hits from ships with poor dispersion like the Conq. And the GK!

There are several things wrong with your post. First of all you casually 'forget' to mention that Conqueror has wayyy inferior secondaries and it also doesn't have hydro while sharing the same crab torp protection. And lastly the Conqueror will be getting a changed citadel very very soon so the citadel point is either moot or (more probably) actually a major disadvantage to the Conq. And the Conq heal doesn't heal citadel damage back that well and this won't be changed. Another flaw is when you mention this: which is simply not the case. At all. There's probably some other discrepancies hidden in there, but I can't be arsed.

Yup. Same thing with new collection items. After a while you just want to go through all the grind as efficiently as possible and it's easy to loose track of all the beaty details along the way. Shame really, the details in this game are frankly kinda fantastic.

I didn't plan on actually getting the benham at first, but I gave it a halfassed attempt and the part of me liking the savage mode so much (it still makes me feel like a murderer. And sometimes a potato ) so I ended up doing all the directives and daily missions thus far. So why not? And I'm currently grinding 2 tier 9 DDs, so I'm kinda "in the area" anyway

Hi mister/miss's Starbuck! May I suggest the Pegasus line? No wait, different game In general I could describe the lines kinda like this: USN lower tiers slow with good AA and good turret angles. Higher tiers get faster with ok guns and good AA for a BB. French lower tiers ugly but kinda fast and higher tiers get a speedboost and look really good. Ok guns but easy to get into good positions. IJN line is kinda all over the place, but generally speaking meh AA and are played kinda more at range with kinda good accuracy. Higher tiers get Yamato! UK lines will get changed soon, so better hold your breath over that line for now. Higher tiers have a superheal. USSR ships have very good armor when angled properly and perhaps the most powerful main armament, but have poor gun range. German BBs, I can't really recommend this line but they have good secondaries (fun, but not really impressive when you need stuff done most of the time). Higher tiers get a hydro. Very poor accuracy on the guns and hard to hit citadel.

Well at least WG isn't purchasing popular competitors of theirs and squeezing them to death en masse. RIP Westwood/Maxis and others

I can tell for sure that I will be less grinding after Benham and Hill. It really helped that I liked the Savage battles so much, even though in the end I'm more of a PvE guy. If a game has no PvE, then I'm not really interested anymore. And I got kinda lots stuff happening soon so I will have less time and spare space in the brain to cope with all the extra stuff anyway.

I don't expect Crysantos to explain something like this, as he is not the one doing the coding and the coders are probably not really busy with doing the PR. And even though I agree with you to a certain degree about how fracking distant some of the devs apparently seem to be from their own playerbase (like just look at the NTC. I really don't understand how this idea could even be gifted the spark of life without it having been intended in some way to 'shock' the community, maybe even having wanted to hype this new feature or something. But in the end hyping has its clear disadvantages and stuff like this will keep on failing as it is inherent). But this topic also shows THE most important factors why I don't like staying here that much anymore. There's too much toxicity and too many people trying to recruit pawns for their personal bandwagons. Imo this is ruining the PR part of the game. I mean just look at what happened to GZ, but I find it very plausible that this isn't the only example. If you want a forum that is broad in its base regarding constructiveness, then you got to get rid of the too large firesetters and there's still too many of those around here.

Imo the only tier 8 ships that have at least potentially something going for them, are the tier 8 allied cruisers. Too bad Cherry Blossom is gone for the time being, I used to see a lot of these premiums in Cherry but Cherry is gone now

I was after some of the camos as I like them a lot. And some extra doubloons for me to throw at ingame stuff wouldn't have hurt me either. Well maybe except in the pocket but if it ends up being good fun for me, I'm ok with that Once I had comitted to wows, all the crates seemed kinda lackluster compared to the ones that had been released before that (and not just the no-more-extra-doubloon-thingy), but I ended up buying the PEF and the doubloons daily mission thingy instead. So there ya go!
