Since only about a month ago I've started playing RN CVs. When I got my Tier VIII Implacable I was surprised by it's lackings compared to Tier VIII IJN & USN CVs....
Why on Earth the Implacable is the only CV that attacks with 2 torpedoes, when IJN CV attacks with 4 and USN with 3? This is even more puzzling when it's torpedoes are the less potent of them all, doing a maigre 5ish K max dmg against over 9K for the IJN and near 7K for the USB.... So it's 4 x 9K potential dmg for each attacking run for IJN, 3 x 7K for USN and 2 x 5K for RN... Does this seems balanced to anyone???
With the bombers it's the same thing too. The RN bombers are the ones that do lees max dmg. Only the fighters are better but then, only slightly...
Another problem wit the RN torpedoes is that they are launched to far apart wich allows ships to dodge them easly. Other navies drop the torpedoes more grouped making it easier to hit,
So honestly, why this descimination towards the RN Implacable? It's not even for historycal reasons as the RN used the Vic 3 planes formation as it's stadard torpedoe attack formation....
