  1. The problem I had wading through the article was the all new icons being used to explain it. It would have been helpful to have provided a key to the new symbols to help us comprehend as we read through it.
  2. For all your talk about game balance, the game is substantially biased in favour of submarines. I wouldn't mind them if I could detect them and have a sporting chance of defending against them, but when targeted by a sub in a battleship you have next to no chance of spotting them within the range of your air strike, and having used the repair party once, you have no way to disburse the next ping owing to its cool down. When it becomes increasingly frustrating game after game of being sunk by subs, you quickly loose all enjoyment in the game. Sub players will tell you they like them because they can sink BB after BB with apparent impunity, but the majority of players are very much against them. In our clan we've had members leave and those that remain are playing less and less. Once a player leaves the game and finds an alternative addictive game to invest in, you'll find it hard to win them back to WoW. Do us all a favour and restrict subs to games where everyone knows subs are included, and leave mainstream games free of them. Players will not invest further do$h into a game they no longer enjoy playing.

Research Bureau: New Rewards for Leveling Up

I found myself compelled to tell you what I think about this latest scheme. Utter Rubbish! We have plenty of opportunity to re-play lower tier ships of our choosing for fun. Just because we might own tier X ships doesn't mean we play them exclusively. Why would we want you to sell our ships so we can re-grind and re-buy them again? Plenty of ways to encourage interest in lower tier ships without the need for this ill-thought out scheme. Bring ranked battles back to a different lower tier each season, for example. You have already proved you have great imagination! This is a big negative from me.

    A. Ovechkin Commanders

Having obtained both the Soviet and American commanders, I purchased some containers in an effort to 'win' the bi-lingual commander, or some of the ships on bonus offer. Maybe I'm daft but I purchased 30 containers, and the only bonus I got was the Chapy… a ship I had previously owned and sold. I would have expected a higher incidence of luck from 30 containers (£100 spend). WOW ought to create a better formula for a win at their dice games. Do you think I will I be purchasing more container from WOW with such bad luck when the dice loaded so as not to provide the bonus?
  5. The 'Purchase Slot' and 'Purchase Ship' spaces in port occupy a whole column each. If you have a lot of ships and list them 4 rows high, you loose two out of ten columns across the page that might otherwise be more usefully occupied with ships. Do we need these purchase slot and ship captions alongside our ships in port. I don't think so. I have never purchased a ship nor a slot using those fields. If they are considered essential then at least reduce their size so they occupy no greater space than the icon for a ship... please!
