Nope. Not 1h daily. One hour at a time. You just log out, and log in again, and off you go... You can play several hours a day, just log in, log out, game on.

I was also very disappointed to learn of the discontinuation of Mac support. It would have meant the end of WG for me, but luckily I stumbled upon this post. The Nvidia geforce has been amazing. With the free account you need to log in again every hour, but it's actually not a bad reminder to let you know how long you've been playing. You probably need a pretty decent internet connection, but otherwise can't complain. It's free!
