My original question was why people think its OP because I sure dont. I wasnt really saying it isnt, I was saying why people think it is. And heres why I think it isnt. Nagato, Colorado and Nelson all feel considerably more reliable in the guns department. Even Duke of York feels better even when only firing AP. They feel like you can punish people reliably for showing broadsides and Sinop sure doesnt. Honestly Sinop feels like if it doesnt miss it overpens on cruisers and shatters or bounces on BBs. I had a game today where I fired 3 full salvos at a completely broadside Massa from 10km away and did ZERO damage, all I got were shatters, torpedobulge hits or full bounces. However, this is okay, if it had some other redeeming features. Gneisenau and Scharnhorst, even Hood KGV/DoY feels faster and more nimble to handle. Plus you dont have to worry constantly about showing too much broadside. These ships all feel more reliable at range aswell (except for Gneisenau). But Im going to retract what I said before out of frustration. No it isnt the worst tier 7 BB and I would probably not hate it as much if I didnt keep losing. HOWEVER. I do NOT see why people call it OP. Everywhere I turn I see people calling it OP and Ive never gotten why. I was excited when I first got it but I quickly got suprised at how very underwhelming it was. To me there are much better tier 7 BBs out there. Nagato feels more consistant with the guns and has a longer range and better reload. Colorado also feels atleast on par and also has better reload and range. Gneisenau can tank and cant be overmatched frontally by any ship in the game. It also has torpedoes and is much faster and nimbler. Yes the guns are very trolly but you also sort of except that and is prepared for it. Scharnhorst is all the things the Gneisenau is but with smaller guns but also much faster reload. KGV will burn anything Hood is fast and nimble and has really nice quick turning guns (now) Nelson has probably the best guns in tier 7 but the hull is BAD and its a ship I generally dont really like playing. But then again it has the amazing heal. Duke of York has good AP and Hydro Lyon has a massive amount of guns and is very good at HE spamming. Sinop itself is a lot of things but not very good at anything, its not as fast as the germans or the brits, its not as tanky as the germans or even the Colorado if Im honest. It has the shortest range, its not as accurate as Nelson, Nagato or Colorado (for me atleast).

Yet it says nothing. These severwide statistics are completely and entirely useless to look at because it doesnt take the playerbase into account. It never says anything about who plays these ships. Maybe the average potato doesnt have access to the newest tier 7 BB and they only have a Lyon to play, or a KGV. That seriously drags down the average statistics. Either way it doesnt matter now since I sold it, I cant stand it. As I said the only ship Ive hated more in this game was the Hood before they buffed it. Maybe others have better RNG than I do but it doesnt work for me, it cant hit anything, it cant damage anything, it never citadels anything except for itself, it cant angle against damage. Its just a complete turd of a ship, on my account. Either way Im starting, or no, Ive become really fed up with this game. I had a rant about the winrate two weeks ago and after that Ive had a pretty 50/50 winrate, or higher and its been fun. Now Im back to being put in the potato teams every single game, no matter how well I do its just defeat after defeat, steamroll after steamroll. I cant stand it, I cant. It completely kills my mood for an entire weekend and this game isnt worth it anymore. Im gonna find something else to play.

Another thing you need to keep in mind is that the other tier 7 BBs I grinded a long time ago. I have since gotten a lot better at the game. Also Im not mad about the defeats, the game has decided that I shouldnt win games so be it. The thing that bothers me is that this ship just doesnt hit, and when it does hit its either overpens or shatters or richoets, more so than any other BB Ive ever played. Maybe we couldve even won one of these games if I couldve hit stuff like I would in any other tier 7 BB.
-
On average yes because I had one game in my 12 games where I did 188k and had like 7 kills or whatever. Statisticly if you remove that game I would have BY FAR the worst stats in this ship. Ive also now lost 7 games in a row straight. In this ship

Getting quiet fed up with cruisers using full broadside as a legit strategy these days. A cruiser full broadside at almost point blank range to a BB should die, there shouldnt be a question about it, they should get wrecked out of the ocean. Just had a game in the Sinop where at 4 times cruisers went FULL broadside at below 5 km range and I didnt get a single citadel the entire game. Infact if those two cruisers wouldve died when they shouldve its possible we couldve won that game (which we lost). As its very unlikely that I missed all 9 shells in their broadside 4 times in a row Im guessing it overpens their citadel and only does overpen damage which is why Im suggesting making hits to citadel unable to overpen. Agree/disagree?

Yea you still havent understood the topic. Were not talking about hitting the citadel or not. Were talking about overpenning the citadel.
-
Just FYI you have a perfect example of what I was talking about in flambass latest video. How can you think that is okay?
-
Smolensk and Worcester mostly
-
Did you even understand the topic? I didnt say waterline hits should always be a citadel. I said a hit to the citadel shouldnt overpen.

This is actualy something Ive been thinking about. I actualy dont see the reason why not all cruisers like BBs have a heal. Atleast from say tier 3-4 and upwards. It would make them way more competitive when uptiered and they wouldnt really become too powerful either. As I said before, BBs are more powerful than cruisers up to around tier 9 and then cruisers are better (with some exceptions ofcourse) at carrying games. Also, theres no real reason why we cant lower the citadel on cruisers in general, to make them harder to hit from range. My only gripe is that if a cruiser makes a mistake a BB should be able to punish him, which they currently cant.
-
How about an actual argument instead of [edited]? It seems to just be "common knowledge" that BBs are apparently the strongest class in all tiers, where there is no evidence for it. BBs in high tiers gets farmed from long range by HE spamming cruisers, or torped to death by DDs they cant see. If I am okay with that then I should atleast be able to blap a cruiser if I manage to get close enough shouldnt I? Or should cruisers be completely unblappable? How do you make a BB go into caps and brawl if everything it faces counters them? The people on this forum has such a strange and counterproductive view of what BBs should do.
-
When was the latest buff? Honestly as someone who plays all classes somewhat equally. (Yes I have more BB games but thats mainly because I started grinding those) BBs in high tier is by far the weakest class, CVs are the strongest and DDs the second strongest. In lower tiers DDs remain the strongest but BBs are stronger than cruisers. BBs is the only class that has special handicaps in not being able to do full pens to DDs and overpens cruisers at closer ranges where as DDs can blap a BB easely from close range and a cruiser with torp can do the same.

IJN Ise as a BB/CV hybrid. Would be absolutely awesome.

I have a feeling that the two dudes in the no camo and no flags Dallas and Emile Bertin didnt do it cause they knew Id overpen. They did it because they didnt know any better, and I should be able to punish them. Instead the Emile Bertin managed to get close enough to torp me, which I managed to avoid but I beached in the process and got focused down. I actualy tried this in the Sinop against these two ships in the training room. Its very difficult to oneshot these ships from close range at full broadside.
-
Bad play should be punished. If I go full broadside in a BB to another BB I will die, so why shouldnt cruisers? Its even a worse play to get that close to a BB in a CA/CL. Its ridicolous that less armor= more armor.

Arizona used to be good, OP even. Izmail and Normandie are now straight up better at almost everything. Arizonas guns arent as reliable as they used to and the ship is simply too slow to be effective. Interestingly enough noone so far has mentioned the best BB at tier 6. That is hands down the Mutsu.

Well WG also quiet clearly stated that 20 games are required as a calibrationphase, also I dont really see what the tin hat theory would be?
-
I actualy think it has works, I seem to be top tier way more often now than before.

In the current meta - even a Kraken cannot get a win

Dont even know why Im arguing with you but. You said you and other people. Noone has given me an explanation that I find reasonable, simply because it is disproven. You on the other hand has never said anything constructive in any thread on this forum ever, and you sure as hell arent doing it now either. Also I dont think you know what a tinfoil hat theory is. A tinfoil hat theory is a very hard to believe and far fetched conspiracy. For a russian company to rig matchmaking algoritms in order to maximize profit is far from far fetched or unbelievable, infact its very probable. -
Think it hides all stats and not just WR. I kinda want to see my stats to see if I improve or not. Also clans rank people by WR

You havent done either of those things. As I said youve never said anything constructive -
Well I have a few ships that you can carry pretty hard in, like Black or Jutland, even Des Moines is pretty easy to carry in. Jutland was the first ship I managed to win in tonight, infact Ive never lost a game in it, but I havent played many random battles in it. Honestly this wasnt ment to be about my personal stats and winrate. As Ive written before I know for a fact that many people are equally or more frustrated and angry for the same reasons, but they stay quiet or they quit playing. If you look at similar threads from places like Reddit or even Youtube comments you see it. I dont think its healthy for the long time survivability of the game to make people this angry and frustrated. In ranked and Clan Battles okay, but not in randoms.

Why dont you just stay quiet. You never ever come with anything constructive in any thread youve ever written in. You just feed on peoples dismay. What you have "told" me in the past simply isnt true, it is for obvious reasons not the correct explanation. Therefor I dont want to hear it again, unless you can prove what youre saying. -
Indeed, rigging or not I think part of the frustration of losing so many games in a row is that one game takes such a long time. As you said yourself you invest so much time into that battle and when youre also doing well in it it becomes extremely frustrating to watch your teammates throw it away. At the same time I think that the game would be much much less frustrating if it wasnt so focused on winning. But the on the other hand if it wasnt then people would play selfishly and not for objectives. I think the best solution is to just hide the winrate for random battles, make it not a stat. For me atleast it would be much less frustrating as you still gain xp and credits for defeats if you do well, but seeing your winrate drop like a rock in the ocean day after day is extremely frustrating, to the point where I barely dare to play because I dont want to drop it even further down. FYI Ive now been in 4 absolutely steamroll wins in a row, like I could be afk and still have won those. I havent had a single steamroll win in weeks, and now 4 in a row..... Not complaining but its weird.

I appriciate your response but this has been said before and Im sorry but I dont believe in it. Just look at the first tier 10 ships I unlocked. They are the ones with the highest winrate and also the ships I havent really played recently. ALL my new ships have horrificly low winrate (except for a few with low sample size), but all other stats in them are much better than the old ones, so I do better but I still dont win. And 78 not being a big sample size I agree with, however this isnt new, this is something that has been going on since before summer. Its been affecting me in such a bad way that Ive barely touched random battles for a long time during the summer, because Im afraid itll just happen again and Ill get angry. But no matter how bad I am, it simply isnt fun to log in and lose 70% of the games you play, and lose them so hard that no matter how unicum you are you wouldnt be able to carry them anyway. Like it gives me no motivation to improve, because I know theres no real reason to, I wont win either way. Ive gotten a lot better but my winrate is worse, makes sense? And yes I am aware, playing divisions will improve my winrate, it has. Problem is that then Im locked to the tiers they want to play and people in my clan seldom want to play lower tiers (that Im grinding). Also it shouldnt be this difficult to get a few wins a day, it shouldnt. Im good enough that I should be atleast above 40%.
