So a variety of people from top clans tell you you're wrong that they fielded teams with Radars instead of Smoke and you still claim that they didn't just because you watched a very small number of the many games played in the season on some streams... Grow up, learn to accept that you're not the fount of all knowledge and that you're way wrong. Just waiting for the "I was only joking" disclaimer from him.

Looks like stat shaming to me and there's no doubt it's what you intend. I've seen people make those sorts of statements so many times I find it hilarious. The fact you busily go looking up stats to try to stop people telling you you're wrong is typical. Please go and look up mine, I'm sure you've tried, mine have been hidden since 3 weeks after I started playing and I don't give a damn that some people think it's a bad indication, all it indicates is what I think of people that try to stat shame.

Which is why @15JG52Adler appears to know better than everyone else. My clan only played to Silver, but I know a few players in the upper leagues and what the guys I quoted say is the same as I heard. Unfortunately Mr @15JG52Adler interpreted the word some as barely any, but he clearly knows best so we should all bow to his superiority. Incidentally I've seen a few radar Edinburgh performing very well in ranked matches.

It would be nice if they improved the chat interface, there's considerable room for improvement, it's clunky. As pointed out in another thread, things like being able to select message (as well as the usual stuff) in the right click from the team results screen would mean not having to use the terrible search tool as much.

Curious, some of the very successful Clan Wars teams used Radar equipped Yueys and the occasional Minotaur, the facts would not agree with your assertion. As to it's the captain not the ship, that's true of every ship in the game. A good captain will play to the ships strengths and mitigate the weaknesses. Played the right way the ships that can equip either radar or smoke are highly effective with radar.

AFK ships don't score XP and the service charge is the same for them as any that enter battle so they will more than likely lose silver each game, why would people set up a bot to do that? As to the AI ships on the enemy side they have improved the AI and it seems to take account of threat, an inactive AFK is lower threat than someone shooting at them so lower priority.

Ahh, the old chestnut of "I was only joking" to try to defuse the fact that the thread has attracted basically nothing but scorn for being complete junk. Most forums seem to attract one or two posters of DramaQUeen's type, everything is wrong and that poster is the only enlightened one capable of fixing the situation because they're superior and have brilliant ideas. That is completely wrong, played skilfully they can all be incredibly effective with radar instead of smoke. Even with the mod it's relatively short duration compared with US.

I'm a bit surprised so many people actively dislike the Donskoi, I preferred it to the other T9 cruisers (other than the Roon which I liked for slightly different reasons) and I even prefer it to the Moskva that I find a bit boring. I liked most of the line from Kirov onward, despite them being armoured in damp bog roll. Still that's a good part of the game, some people find a ship great, others find the same ship junk.

It's not a bad map, it's just very badly played by those people too scared to do anything active, basically camp and lose. There's plenty of cover unless you play passively and get pushed back. I very rarely play my Yamato, but yesterday I solo capped C, was eventually followed in by a few cruisers that I could meatshield and between us we ripped the camping opposition a new one.

As has been discussed before, even if they make it so people with the same tag can't be in the same match (on same side for advantage or opposite sides for rigging accusations) there's the matter of the larger clans having sister clans with slightly different tags. With the Ranked population not being huge, if 3 or 4 people queue in the right mix of ships at the same time there's a fair chance they will be in the same match.

Purely personal taste, in my DD's I take Preventative rather than Priority, I assume if spotted everyone and their relatives will be shooting at me, but the Khaba isn't really high on the sneaky front so different approach makes sense.

No need, just tape the button down. Adrenaline rush is a nice skill if you can spare the 2 points, but since you're considering BFT for Khaba rate of fire that seems a sensible choice.

Current HP, if it was otherwise in a long game where lots of HP tanked and healed back the effect would be bonkers.

One thing that stands out in those stats is the guy kills with his guns, so he's not one of the utterly useless border humpers spamming torps at max range. That alone makes him a pretty exceptional and unusual Asashio player.

Not sure about that, he could have taken the car, so the exercise benefits may not be reflected in the quality of his recommendations! We shall have to look at his walking stats when they're uploaded to know if he's credible. The sherbet of course is beneficial, unless he's using the slang term where a sherbet could be a strong alcoholic drink in which case he's possibly stoned out of his box.

So why make the thread? If you only want WG to respond then put in a ticket or PM to the WG staff. As many have pointed out endlessly your choices and misplay (which ARE relevant even though you prefer to ignore that) led to the system believing you were AFK because you contributed nothing and didn't even sail far enough to register as being there in the game.

Parody of the few recent returnee players who feel they have the knowledge, experience and wit to try to get the game changed to the way they see it should be. It could even be applied to a few of the endlessly wordy "retired" players whose opinions are as "special".
