Plus the running points score in the middle top where 1000 points is always an end to the match, plus the verbal "The enemy team is about to win" type messages.

Re-install the game WITHOUT havint to re-download it ? (is it possible ? )

Actually lock isn't needed as the post from @Dead_Skin_Mask proves the approach is still valid. True it's a necro thread of large proportions. -
Which forum members have you seen in random battles?
BeauNidl3 replied to Cobra6's topic in General Discussion
Don't feel bad, I missed noticing you too, we were both rather busy. Good job done, we kept them spotted and seriously messed up their DD's between us while capping. -
Picked up this mission too, of course it popped up after I'd won 3 in a row and the next 2 were derp teams. Always nice to get a freeby ship and my Shima Captain can drive it in T2 games which is going to be a bit cruel.

Indianapolis Marathon (01.06. - 16.07.)

While the minor buffs would be welcome, trimming a few seconds off the reload would make her fun to play and not a bit of a chore as it is now. -
Z-39, another premium passes the "WG balance" check
BeauNidl3 replied to viceadmiral123's topic in General Discussion
I agree completely and the Z-23 is at best mediocre at T8, but at least it has the 128's as an option, faster reload on the 150mm's and that means it's not hopeless at gunfights and 9.5 Km torps with the upgrade, the Z-39 is a Z-23 with stock torpedoes and the 150mm guns, so the worst of both worlds. It would have been a trial matter to tweak the Z-39 so it was not useless at T8, but then they'd have to admit the Z-23 is a bit of a lemon as well. I assume the reason they haven't released the T-61 which so many people wanted is the claims it's vastly better than the Gaede, which is largely true and it could be argued that the fallout from the Flamu (who's able to get a lot out of a ship and I'm sure he didn't post the review on a crappy performance where its weaknesses showed up) videos of T-61 led them to release what's basically a meh KM DD instead by a lazy copy/paste of Z-23, it was only the testers verdict that it's complete crap at T8 that got it dropped a tier. The Z-39 isn't a bad ship, it's just nothing special and in the hands of a relative newbie it's weak, I expect its performance stats will drop quite a bit once more people have it that don't know how to play KM DD's. -
Z-39, another premium passes the "WG balance" check
BeauNidl3 replied to viceadmiral123's topic in General Discussion
It would have been absurdly easy meat at T8, it's simply not strong enough. It's very easy to kill with T9 ships of all classes, vs any of the T10's it would be a rapid snack. It doesn't perform well vs a Kidd which is T8 and can gunboat it to bits very easily and Loyang totally slaps it silly with much faster reload, better agility and longer range Hydro. It was never T8 material, it's not stellar at T7, it takes some doing to perform well in it so it's weak in novice KM DD hands unless top tier. -

I weakened and got the Z-39. In the right circumstances it's decent as DD's go, but it's far from OP, the guns have a lousy rate of fire, poor traverse and meh arcs, to get all 4 on a target means you have to show an awful lot of broadside, it's got some AA, but don't expect to shoot down much, it doesn't handle well and the torpedoes are very average. Has a high health pool, but it's far from agile enough to dodge fire from anyone with a brain so that disappears fast if you've been spotted. I've had some good games in it, but since I use the 19 point Captain of my Z-52 in command I have some advantages others won't have. It's not OP, I'd call it adequate at best and meh in some cases. But without the option to use the 128mm guns and only having 4 instead of 5 which in a knife fight is a bad thing. -
Quite likely, plus the torpedo propellant and maybe the anti freeze.
-
Probably because the gunners have been at the schnapps again.

Careful, you will be accused of bullying him by demonstrating he's wrong, but he's in his safe space now so maybe you will get away with being nasty (by pointing out he's incorrect). I'm sure he's reported my posts en masse to the forum moderators, but frankly I can't say I'm overly concerned. I agree with your analysis of the Graf incidentally.

Maybe one of the patches in between has broken that and the graphic can show on some clients, I can't say I've seen it, but I've not been looking that closely. While I'd say it could be tested in the training room it would take a lot of luck to replicate the scenario with the next salvo after a D-Con setting a fire. It may also be something that only shows on some graphics settings and machine combination, at the end of the day it's only a graphic. While I respect your opinions on game mechanics as you're clearly well informed it's the only plausible explanation for what @Migantium_Mashum described in the initial post, namely a Conq extinguishing 2 fires then next salvo appearing to be on fire with instant extinguish.
-
Can only be damage saturation, your 1st 2 torps saturated an area or two and the other 2 hit the same places more or less. Once fully saturated that area of the ship can't take any more damage and hits do 0.

Well the "special" skills are so un-special compared to the ones on the other commanders that have them they may as well be ignored, to me he's just a free 10 point commander that wasn't too tricky to grind out, currently sat in reserve. If he'd got useful "special" skills then I'd use him immediately and burn the captain exp I have to boost him to a good level. -
Could you do something with bots?
BeauNidl3 replied to Kossi_Kuivasukeltaja's topic in General Discussion
So entirely true, I gave it a funny, but in reality it's a bit sad. -
I'm aware that you can't get a DoT fire going while Dama-con is active, but the graphic might pop up if it registers one that's immediately extinguished by the active repair, as I said I don't know if that's even possible, but it's the only explanation I have for a plausible chain of events leading him to see a very brief fire on the second salvo. As far as I know all the fire and flooding mechanics so the Dama-con are effectively server side so I don't see any way to hack it.
-
I'm not sure what the matchmaker can do about people playing in a silly manner.
-
Only thing I can think of is the second salvo was inside the 15s that Conquerors repair party was active, which is entirely possible as Moskva reload with the Main Battery Mod 3 is 9.1s, allow a second or two for aiming or whatever and it's plausible. I've never watched that closely to see if with an active Repair Party the fire animation springs up, but no damage is done and that might also be dependent on client graphics settings.

It's possibly someone that's chat banned and just being a bit of an arse (they can spam the F keys and map pings when banned) hoping to be carried, but I've seen some very obvious bots in matches recently. Not sure which it is in this case, it could very easily be either. -
I was re-reading previous threads to see where and how I was being mean to you, pointing out that you have written factually inaccurate stuff that's refuted by everyone on the thread isn't bullying, it's called adult discussion and in some cases education, it's something that the snowflake generation can't handle well so they need their "safe spaces". The real world has very little regard for snowflakes who take offence at the drop of a hat or just being shown they aren't right no matter how much they scream like a frustrated toddler. Try spending some time with the military forces of most countries and you will see how real professionals at the senior NCO level set about smashing your illusions of how precious behaviour is regarded, it's something worth witnessing. Oh and bye, I hope your non posting "safe space" doesn't have anything that can cause you any upset in future.
-
I'll post a more rational response after I can stop laughing at being accused of bullying you. If you're such a delicate snowflake that you can't accept people pointing out when you spout inaccuracies and wild opinions on a public forum, then maybe there's little hope for you.

Same here, I've got 19 point KM BB, cruiser and DD Captains (plus a 10 pointer on my V25 for when we do Clan V25 racing) so mine will sit in reserve until I want a commander of a silver ship that I decide to rebuy and play. I can't see me using JoAT or Vigilance though, unlike Expert Marksman and Adrenaline Rush which I use on some and about all respectively so buffed versions of those are useful. -

I really don't see the sense in that decision, get your 17 point Captain up to 19 and it's a source of elite commander XP, the special skills on the German Captains are basically worthless unless you love vigilance and that's not overly handy on Hindenberg so it's just a 10 point Captain. -
I'm not stalking you, you made a poorly thought out thread and you've a notable habit of posting silly stuff that's far from the truth. I respond to inaccurate, or downright stupid posts in a consistent manner. Since someone posted that your most played ship was the Guilio which faces Graf frequently connecting the dots it was a reasonable assumption that you find the Graf OP, which it most definitely is not. The other responses in the thread agree that your post was less than sensible. I also play Guilio occasionally, it's a very strong ship, far stronger than the Graf which I also play.
