You are not alone!
With wine and pol, whenever I access my Inventory, go to shop or try to access any resource from the menu top left, that links to external information, wows spawns this process from chrome embedded framework and crashes.
This is not only a problem when trying to make a clan or access the shop. When you get 1st place in a match the first time, you are getting a reward. This works not with wine as this is trying to display something from the shop. So with wine you cannot get this kind of reward. Online support has not been helpful in this matter.
I currently have cef installed to see if I have similar trouble. But I could not reproduce this cef behavior so far.
A solution would e great, but as always there will be no support from the devs for something like wine.
