    German BB accuracy gets a buff !

    First time posting here...I guess because this German ship bullshittery is getting to me... Marginal increase in German BB accuracy. Why? High tier German BBs have so many more important issues right now than accuracy... I will focus here on GK because FDG is very similar, only much much worse for having only 8 barrels with an abysmal dispersion. German BB's used to be tough, but now we have too many special snowflakes which can do damage regardless of angle and pen almost all armor as well as having insane fire starting potential. The game balance says that sniping BBs in the game have the luxury of having range, pen values, great dispersions, but instead of being forced to dance against each other, they are just allowed to abuse their great concealment to survive almost anything. On the other hand, we have a brawly BB like GK who is supposed to commit to a fight with nearly zero chance of disengaging, they can cosplay as islands, have an absolute crap handling (having a German hydro 90% of the time just means you see your impending doom without being able to dodge). Kremlin for example has 46% torp protection, while GK has 25% because...balance, of course. Yamato and Musashi have 55% torp protection and those are ships who never even see any torpedoes in their gameplay unless they separated from the team for whatever reason. GK is insanely wide and a huge target, while Kremlin is relatively thin and because of that, Kremlin's huge turrets actually work as an effective HE shattering umbrellas!!! Montana has 406mm guns whose AP is not only insanely dangerous because of American AP angles and plunging fire, but also deals the same alpha as GK's 420mm guns!!!! The cruiser hard hitting AP from the German line obviously does not translate to their BB's... GK is supposed to advance (even the legendary upgrade says so), and yet, the only way to shoot all 4 turrets at the same time is if you completely show your broadside!!! Otherwise, you are literally a harmless punching bag with 6 barrels that throw insanely inaccurate popcorns at the enemy with literally zero chance of getting into secondaries range. 420mm can overmatch some of the high tier cruiser bows and that's it (not that you will hit any of them anyway with the shotgun effect the guns have). Kremlin on the other hand has lolpen weapons of mass destruction... All these problems, and we hear that German BB accuracy is getting a marginal buff...I guess so clueless people can play the new sniping krauts meta? I can't help but mention the Hindenburg here as well... It too, used to be "tanky" for a cruiser. Now, it's like a tier 10 Omaha - you stay the [edited]away from everyone and spam and dance at max range. You dance and you spam and all it takes is one mistake or just RNGesus saying YES and you take one or two stray Montana/Yamato/any sniper BB/heavy/super heavy cruiser shells and all your hard work of dancing and aiming at max range is thrown out the window!!! It has that hard hitting AP which can not pen anything at range or if the target is even slightly angled. HE has great pen, but is anemic in both alpha and fire chance. Torps are usable during a storm I guess, but trying to close the distance with anyone who is not a complete newbie (especially with Hindenburg's battleships grade concealment) will end in disaster for you. HE spam will eat you alive, high caliber AP pens almost anywhere and what do we get for a legendary upgrade? Main turret repair time, fire and flooding recovery and a rudder shift in place of the concealment module... Who ever is starting fires on you while trading salvos also deals a LOT of HE damage and the fires they start are almost irrelevant in comparison! Flooding? If you eat one or god forbid, two torps and get a flooding, that too is irrelevant compared to the raw damage you recieved. High dpm cruisers eat you alive, long range HE boats are just better than you. The only thing that a Hindenburg can do well, is to fight against clueless people and then you get those nice youtube material AP broadside salvos that everyone loves seeing... This is a problem in many online games I've seen. every time there are a few ships/tanks/heroes/champions/whatever who are not good in any way. They just require three times extra effort to produce the same results as the mainstream ones. This is exactly what happened to both German BB and cruiser line in the current meta! The problem is not just in the ships themselves, but also captain specs. If you want a captain for a sniper, all you need is a 10 skill captain and you can function without any problems. If you want a captain for a secondaries build, you need an Ubermensch captain or it doesn't work, and while sniper captains can easily grab extra survivability skills in their builds, the secondaries captains don't have that luxury unless they are willing to destroy the effectiveness of their secondaries. What GK actually needs is a much, MUCH stronger torpedo protection, much more efficient main battery forward firing angles and, ironically, Hindenburg's legendary upgrade for the 5th slot so you can choose between extra concealment or being extra tanky (for comparison purposes, Montana and Conqueror who never really push anywhere unless they have to due to range issues, get a tanking legendary, while GK does not...). The ship needs to be able to push and be dangerous while doing so, kinda like the Kremlin, only in a slightly different way. Giving GK better main battery accuracy and/or more efficient AP angles are also interesting ideas, but that just pushes the ship into a sniping gameplay, and we already have more than enough options there. The concealment, torpedo protection and maneuverability in the entire game needs to be looked at and adjusted so that pushers have the tools to push and that snipers are forced to dance without being able to disappear when ever they feel like it, and separating from the team should make snipers much more vulnerable (mainly talking about torpedo protection here that generally needs to go down). Hindenburg needs either better concealment to be able to stalk and sneak and catch broadsides at ranges where it's AP can actually pen, and it's anemic HE needs a serious buff with either alpha or fire chance. It also needs a usable legendary because the current one is a complete and utter trash for it's play style.
