Thanks :) The quality is passable to a point i feel happy with the end result. Other warships i'd like to have are mainly Tirpitz wearing it's Norwegian camo, Roma, Sims, Graf Spee & perhaps Duke Of York, Hood, California. It's slowly getting out hand already to be honest haha and i'm already running out of room so 2 or 3 more and that's my limit.

I agree, the quality of the finish is always much better as well but that being said i can't complain, As long as the quality is at a half way make i can live with it haha

Initially i did but i don't really have the space for that kind of set up and the constant setting up and breaking down would be a faff due to the space in between times.

Thank you kindly sir I completed the Iron Duke first in an all grey scheme so i knew after that i didn't want another all grey ship. WoWs helped out with the camo for the others but it's accuracy only goes so far like on gun turrets, range finders ect so i have to try find pictures of ships to complete the picture if you will. Take the Scharnhorst for example, This is the Mid 42 Norwegian camo that's in the game but there are small differences like the turrets all have a different pattern and the ranger finders are grey not found in the game. It's something i got onto when i was doing Nelson and it got me thinking how can all the guns have the same camo and after researching they didn't. The Nelson's i just left it cause they was already done but the others hadn't gotten along that far so they could be changed. The Colors are all accurate to my knowledge, the hardest being the blue grey for the Arizona but managed to find it after asking a guy on Youtube what he used to paint his haha such is the pursuit for accuracy! Sometimes i can't find any pictures of specific area's on certain ships, then i just take an uneducated guess like if the superstructure is blue for example, then the secondary gun in front must also be blue; Seems logical As for the completion times, that all varies. Prinz Eugen i've had since 2018/19 and its still not completed. I started it but the results i ended up with i didn't like so i put it away until last year and undone all previous work as started again, the paint was miles off and the fitment of parts was horrible. It's looking alot better but continues to be on the back burner to the others which i went out of a spree and ordered 5 with a 2 week period so then i had others to do which i rotate. On & off builds can take up to a year, I paint by hand and that takes up a lot of time and interest in a certain ship changes from time to time but also different companies have very different qualities in their kits and amount of parts. My usual scale is around the 1:600 mark but not companies use the same scale, If anything different countries use different scales and scale isn't a sign of good detail. AirFix & Revell have good size but the details are pants and not very accurate but the Arizona Or Texas are from Asia at the scale of 1:700 but there details are vastly superior also utilizing photo etched brass parts. Sorry for the long winded answer :D

    Model Warships

You could say warships has become a bit of a passion, Tbh i don't know where its stemmed from. As a kid i always liked history in general but these days naval history more so has become a bit of a passion. Watching documentaries, visiting historical dockyards & playing WoWs, As of last year i started building my own fleet it seems and these are the models I've build (Thus Far) in various states of completion Iron Duke being the most complete and the first to get build. So far i've got Hms Nelson Hms Iron Duke Hms Warspite Kms Scharnhorst Kms Prinz Eugen Uss Arizona Ijn Fubuki Uss Texas & Hms Ark Royal yet to even be touched. You could say its getting out of hand and i'm quickly running out of space but every time i think i've got enough i'm like ugh i need that one as well haha but with covid-19 in full swing, I'm glad i have something to do! Anyways i hope you enjoy & if you have any models of your own please feel free to share :) 😂😂😂😂😂😂

These are the warships I've built thus far, in various steps of completion. Hms Nelson Kms Scharnhorst Kms Prinz Eugen Uss Arizona Hms Iron Duke Ijn Fubuki Hms Warspite I also have a Texas I've barely started on, Just a painted hull. I should really stop buying them cause they're mounting up haha Got an Ark Royal on order, I also want a Roma & a Tirpitz. Awesome drawing as well! Very nice indeed and yeah i've seen a couple of youtuber videos but no full length doc's which sucks lol

I like naval history. British, German, American, Japanese naval things i know about but not so much the Italian Navy so i thought i'd start leaning and looking into it. I was amazing Italy thought to rebuild the class so extensively effectively making a new ship out of the old instead of just scrapping them and starting from scratch. Making a dreadnought type into a fast battleship certainly was a feat of engineering plus the Littorio class are quite interesting as well not to mention the Italian navy certainly had there own flair when it comes to the design of ships.

  14. With everybody locked indoors, the influx of players has gone in up which is great but unfortunately the quality of the players & matches has dropped....... Horrendously! Seriously some people wouldn't know a bulkhead door if you slammed one in their face. As a regular player of the game i'm over these lack luster matches of late generally happening in tiers 6 to 8, no sooner are you in a game you're back in port cause people can't play from the suicider DD & cruisers to the BB player at the back who thinks they're the bob lee swagger of warships and everybody in between. It's totally frustrating when one side might have all ranked players and other has non whilst this doesn't indicate skill, it does indicated that players have probably reached tier 10 somewhere and thus means they've gained some experience of how the game works now whilst i'm not the best player around i consider myself quite a capable player. Isn't it about time WP introduce some kind of system other than the tiers where skill can become a factor in the match making process so people who play regularly like myself can also play other reg's and the weekend warriors can play among themselves something like a ranked for regular's but for every tier. So many times i've been in matches where one side completely dominates the other were only 1 ship or no ships on that enemy side die meanwhile the other side gets complete annihilated and very rarely is it equal which doesn't particularly make for a pleasant playing experience. Of course it's great if you're on the winning side but totally frustrating if you ain't! Just to indicate this, i was in a match earlier to day 12 V 12 from tiers 7 to 9 and only 1 kill was made on my team me making that kill.... Meanwhile the other 11 couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat, Clearly! even with every player some how all converging on a spot from rows G to J lines 6 to 8 with 3/4's of there team around the area & just a short distance away and still couldn't kill anymore ships. No caps was made, no kills meanwhile these idiots just sailed around in a huge circle or just sat there like sitting ducks. Annoying? absolutely and this is more often the case with 1 sided games happening again and again to the point where i'm finding tier 3 & 4 games to be a lot more enjoyable whilst not every team is good at least at the end it looks like the teams was more or less equal with some kills being made and it coming down to the wire which the clock running out, or its 1 v 1 or points. Not a 12 v 12 game were only 1 kill was made on your side while the other side has completely rinsed your team with the soul survivor being a dd that's ran off so clearly somethings wrong and it has to change in my option so its clearly time for the introduction of something that were a players experience comes into consideration in the MM. Not a mixed bag cause its clearly not working if one side dominates another so frequently.
