I think it's not a good idea messing with the light . environments with murky light like twilight we only could see ships outlines. and I'm starting to need glasses.

CV = ARTY??? No, no, no. in WoWS, the equivalent for Artillery are the Battleships. Cvs are the WoWS equivalent for the Hand of God. What can you do? Roll over and sink is doing a lot, these days.

Title Broken ships, the fault is on BBs. then I read flooding and fire damage nerfed. spotting nerfed, Stealth fire removed My main grip with the BBs were they are slow but not anymore, meanwhile those Uber Atlantas, Uber De Moines and stuff that you speak of... Where it leaves the reference ships like Myoko or Zao, De Moines or Atlantas? Smolensk or Salem? I'm pretty much incline for the later And I don't find anything wrong with my Shchors, last time I checked a pretty good HE spammer.

you are not the only one that should apologize. those precious fog of war moments where nothing else matters, those " the fuhrer is dead I must swallow the cyanide pill now" moments 100 torps hit with 2x3 torp cruiser? Now that is determination and guts But I'm as guilty as you are if not more with my budyonni , the BB slayer with 4 km torps but 5 of them in each side.

For me too, a lot of frustration this last 30 days or so. I think you are taking it wrong when you say (what's in bold) You can avoid it to a certain extent. PVP and PVE can be infuriating sometimes, lot's of frustration, and you already said that co-op it's not your thing. But a session here and there can make wonders. I played for an entire session (around 3 hours) with my Bismarck/Bayern/Gneisenau in co-op, in that night I brawled a lot, without a care in the world, it was refreshing . More often than other modes you can be in touch with what you like in the game Personally I switch between modes and that helps me a bit. Try co-op, the competition is there, only different. try to earn more than 800 base XP, aim high and you will like it.

If I remember it well, in a few topics where this was discussed, the majority of opinions tend to be in favour of 12 vs 12 over every thing else, perhaps safety in numbers, I don't know. the main argument is other than 12 vs 12 is worse because a single player has more weight in it and if that player is a potato, than the rest of the team collapses faster. That may be truth... But we reached a point where a full team of 12 can win or lose a game in a few minutes in smaller teams, there is more room in the map for doing stuff. (because of what we already said). And in my experience (Octupus, Leviathan haloween operations, 3 sprints) I really didn't notice any difference apart from that room/freedom that can actually be beneficial for all of us. Oh man, I already had two breaks, no more. I can occasional grind if it's not that bad (PEV campaign) or if I really need it (Halo ops for XP), now I choose my fights more often But, e.g. French DDs? No I didn't even try. Italian cruisers? No. Us DD thing? No. RN BBs? No. and the list goes on. I must have slightly more than 50 ships (not much ) but I'm ok with them and I don't play them all. So I'm done with that treadmill that you speak of. WG could change the economy a bit, I wouldn't mind if that would ease the to t10 rush, where they can farm us at will. But probably, it's also how many players they have, server traffic and things like that. As I said I missed a lot but I'm happy with what I have. I don't have Missouri, I don't have Arp ships, I don't have Benham, I do have "tons" of t6 permacamos (I bought many ) to my favourite t6 ands t7s, t8 I have some (instead of buying premium ships, I spend that money in perma camos for my favourite silver ships) My only regret so far it's Kutuzov. Now instead of spending my free XP in freemiums i'll probably get Fiji, Amagi. You Know? After PEV I needed a bit of rest, after Halloween I can assure you I will, take it slower for a bit. But that The fook I'm even doing here moment happens to me to, the most noticeable for me... 25 torp hits mission. At a certain point I panicked , and there I was in a naked and stock Nicholas with a 3 or 4 point captain heading for a cap looking for things to torp.

At least part of the masterrace was done and buried with the rework. I saw a fair share of cv games, I even played a few. And there's one game that comes into mind, the most spectacular I ever seen and by far, very unorthodox, extremely aggressive. I don't know if he's a good player or a bad player, but that game...OMG. He dwarfs Flamu in the middle of Two brothers stuff. His team was WTF I was WTF while seeing the replay, in the edge of my seat. I sincerely don't know how that replay didn't ended up in Jingles. It's a shame he didn't make it.

And it's not only because of work/school and having few hours to play. It's how you get from Work/school. Tired? dead tired? In what mood? Case and point. The grind I'm on my 29th consecutive day of playing only Halo Ops. Now I'm playing very seriously, I'm grinding XP for my captains and my projections are by the end of it I may be able to have my first two 19 point captains. Signals were the first ones to go out of the window, next was the fun I had , now was Saving Transylvania and Sunray in the Darkness. All that it's left is a meh Twilight op with meh ships and the necessity to force myself to play...for the XP yesterday I could not make me play (I'm at that point, in the middle of a perfect storm) with the conditions that you described you only will find FUN in a game where you are not committed to, where you have no expectations or habits picked up along the way because of this that you talk you just play and have FUN. I too love Op. I'm a 90% cruiser main and I went really, really out of my way to get a DD to play dynamo Operation...Twice. first with the t6 IJN DD (didn't filled the minimum requirements) second, Icarus. And WG retrieve Dynamo from rotation Coop battles are a must, may not be your thing but it rewards big, with Fun. there you don't care about those said random/clan/ranked habits/fears and the bots brawl. After this grind where do you think I will start playing with my regular ships? (oh,How I miss IGOR and Svyatozar, Magnu-S, Jackal already) I think smaller teams would be better. One could have more space to manoeuvre in the map, and so on. could help MM eventually with no penalty in queue time because of more available.teams Viable for what? It all depends of the goals of each one of us. I play for fun, mostly around t6, some t7 and few t8, mixed modes I liked sprints (my first time ever I made them) t6 was fun, t7 was strange, t8 was a nightmare but all of them were for fun, I didn't took them seriously because I was expecting Halloween operation with Leviathan and Octupus.(I don't remember what was it called).and I saw sprints as an opportunity to train for Halo ops. So pretty casual . .

yeap, I have to admit that. I really like SAVING TRANSYLANIA AND SUNRAY IN THE DARKNESS but often they are just that, exercises in frustration. It's been Twilight that is saving the day, by compensate my defeats in Halo ops. In one, no matter what you do, if is a defeat you come out empty. In the other, you always come out with something And yes I'm been noticing the CrocoBBs But I've been playing the Rust cruiser, i like it, it's not a Igor or a Svyatozar but I like it.

That's the thing. it's neither, it's a mess. I have no problem being PVP, like it was last year (Octupus, Leviathans and so on) I have no problem being PVE If you choose PVP then you are one more bot in WG service. IF you choose PVE then you are being trained to the upcoming Subs with that circle chasing. Yes, I'm collecting some filth now (for two days now), not much, just to give a impression that I care for that crap. I'm tired to read "what he's doing?" "why he don't collect any filth?" And other stuff much worse than that. I'm there only for two reasons XP and Rasputin. I don't know why but in Saving Transylvania and Sunray in the Darkness, Rasputin and XP can be extremely hard to get, Not in Twilight. And what's the point in collecting that crap if you can get it anyway? I exchanged 20 k already There are games where the bots are there just for being there. Because PVP Yesterday I didn't went to Twilight, the teams in Sunray were OK. Perhaps today, hope not.

Well, I wasn't talking about anyone in particular. In the example I gave, often and in many scoreboards after a battle both teams where from inactive clans with meh stats, in a way, both teams were the red team. I went for three Sprints and I ended up in a Potato War especially the last Sprint. Even better players of better and active clans were swept away by the potatoes. I've done that over and over again with the Rust Nigthfall, often being the only player in the map, soloing Rasputin, not by choice but because reasons, it's not that hard much easier doing alone than with a team of 7 in Saving Transylvania. A simple Zig Zag is enough to avoid Fossil torps, just keep doing it. Man, that it's so true, just yesterday the amount of teams that were killed before the fall of tower 3, I lost count. (Sunray in the darkness) Being the only one left or being the last two or three that soon. Sorry, but in what basis you say that? It's a PVE. IMO it's a terrible idea to mix the both yesterday, in my way to Rasputin I encounter a team of humans and they started to shoot me, I hold my fire I pressed P, but the bastards didn't gave up, so I turned and faced them, was a mutual destruction thing,neither of us did a thing. And one of the players started winning about going Clockwise and Anticlockwise. well, I often choose the shorter route for Rasputin Let's see how Sunray in the Darkness will be. I may end up in twilight to kill a couple of them...or I may appear there to pick up a little of XP

In one of the games I was sunk near the portal. and what I saw Three teams brawling among each other for petty change waiting for the portal to open, I think among all there wasn't 2.7 k and in the side lines there he was, The bot master and his minions in the side lines. Often, there are those games where the bots are completely unnecessary

How much XP can one get in the expensive bundle? the t10 ?

Man, rushing a dd in smoke with a ligth cruiser with hydro, RPF and a ROF between 6 and 8 s it's a very risky business, it's like bullfights. Not always successful, baiting the torps to go to the other side, where you aren't. You can't do this in a BB.
