Not in a t6/t8 battle
-
yeap, you are still missing a great BB
-
I think the problem is with the points, the more bots in the main force, more bots are killed thous the points run out sooner. Often the game ends with "plenty of meat in the plate" Personally is not for economy, short games are not fun

You brave, brave man.

Not in T6. try again.

Yeah, you are missing something there. I saw all kinds of suggestions and preferences . For crying out loud What About Give me a B Give me an A hit me with a Y ...

I'm so glad I went for the Halloween grind (elite xp) instead of the Italian cruiser grind. I won Gorizia yesterday, so today I took a look into the Italian tree tech. 203 mm, t6 onward, ok. Slow reload guns, ok, Myoko, furutaka, Pensacola, but this... WTF is this? 152 mmm with 14.3 s reload? No fires and with a big blue 13 mm as armour? Nah. Could be like an acquired taste thing, but I wont even bother with this line. I like Helena, I like Shchors, I like furutaka but none of them has all this features in one package. p.s.- Pensacola is looking much better now in comparison with this Italian ships

Don't feel bad it was an interessant ship . I would buy it, if it was t4, but at the last moment WG made it t5, so...

Is Gorizia one of the worst ships in game at her tier?
Butterdoll replied to lossi_2018's topic in General Discussion
Uhm. I just got Gorizia after a day of grinding. (not because the ship but I wanted one more booster to snatch the most I can get) It's mostly a baby blue ship (16 mm) so, no, perhaps i'll try it tomorrow. Torps But facing Italian cruisers in my Bayern, I can say this about the torps. they are slow, they are easily dodgable (if such a word exists). we can see them coming and there's plenty of time to get out of their way. So I think i'll go with hydro. Guns Usually when I'm hit with SAP... I just don't care, the most they took from my Bayern was around 6 k and it's rare when it happens. The up side, I'm in a presence with a good player or a player who is comfortable with the ship. I think I never saw Italian AP. Italian 203 mm guns have a slow reload. yeah, Gorizia.... Perhaps, a support ship?- 39 replies

Man, I like the Indomitable already. Perhaps it's the point of the spear? A cv for the new upcoming meta? A cv optimised for subs? In the current meta may be nothing special, but when it's "prey" arrives, that cv can truly shines. At least earing your short review is what comes to my mind. And I think that were other times. Remember the AA general Buff, and Worcester? All cv Mains and cv players started winning about it. Perhaps that was for a reason, the cv rework. Look to Worcester now, might be still good, but also, is a fair cry from the 300 planes it could shut down in one game (cc videos)

Your top 3 ships that you look forward to play with
Butterdoll replied to Ocsimano18's topic in General Discussion
I do have them all already, in no particular order. My A team - Bayern - Gneisenau - Bismarck - Budyonni - Shchors - Nurnberg The ships that I really , really wanted to have Stalingrad Graf Spee the Ships I'm most curious about Odin Mainz Friesland (I might get this one) -
[f2p] [Poll] Is Puerto Rico worth spending 6000 doubloons on?
Butterdoll replied to viceadmiral123's topic in General Discussion
Oh man. Why? Gneisenau and Scharhorst are equally tanky, Gneisenau it's faster. Having one, the other becames unnecessary. Please don't call Gneisenau a fat ship. carry on. -
[f2p] [Poll] Is Puerto Rico worth spending 6000 doubloons on?
Butterdoll replied to viceadmiral123's topic in General Discussion
Such thing it's, the worst of two worlds. soft as a cruiser, and weaker than a BB. Or you go cruiser or you go BB, the middle is meh. carry on -
I know, I know I'm a archologist Current meta, uhm. I reached rank 1 in the last t6 sprint only with Bayern and Nurnberg, two ships outside the meta of that sprint. Not because I don't have any more ships, but because I had massive FUN playing them. And I have lots of t6 ships to chose from P.s.- When you stop having fun, all becomes irrelevant

Came on, IanH755. Before, with 5 vs 5 was a crap shoot, in maps like two brothers or Ring was just down to luck. 1 - You ( all you are as in general you) had to Yolo from the get go 2 - if you had any luck you would encounter the main force of the bots ahead 3 - then you had to overcome, sometimes you could bite more than you could chew 4 - all of that while in the same time you had to compete with 4 other players But often none of this would happen, because you could simply just pick the wrong flank and meet nothing ahead. And yes, you could follow a dd (the bait) but often the dd wasn't as compliant as it should be and/or smoked the bots for having all of them for himself and so on. The games could be longer in average then, because there were fewer ships, but better? I don't think that way. With the introduction of 8 vs 8 Co-op was hugely improved, with 9 vs 9 should be better but there's something off. PVP players, often end up in the bottom of the score board, Just in the other day in Two brothers map, I was in a Bayern and in the time I took to go from my spawn to the south cap a guy was winning about the quality of his teammates the all time, he didn't got far from his spawn. (he clearly didn't get this mode) - welcome to co-op! I wrote 600 xp and above was always hard to get in co-op, if you (you as in you) could do it quite regularly, congratulations, it's a feat by itself. I made quite a few along the way too and my last two were very recently. 773 xp and 840 xp. What do they share in common? after grinding for a while I was "blessed" by a team that couldn't handle the bots, I was caught by surprise in both of them, but I managed to "stand my ground" 600 xp and above games are as hard to get as always were, at least according to my experience. And the irony of this all, the Bayern did 840 xp with 250 secondaries hits in the mix, more than Bismarck with 178/217 per game and I had switched Bayern for Gneisenau before the Bismarck (I wanted a faster ship), I switch back to Bayern... and, there you go. Luck is still a thing in co-op.
-
I don't agree with you on that one. And besides, the majority of PVP guys when playing co-op, they just don't understand , and don't do much to shorten the game, it's not them. And besides random games full of people who wants/need to do something done (missions, directives, whatever), it's just as awful as co-op. At least in co-op there's a sense of structure, a calm that comes from the knowledge that if one don't get x torps or whatever in it will do in the next one. I personally made my 130 torp hits or citadel hits, 300 planes, 95, 85 and 72 ships sunk in co-op and had a blast doing so. XP part and others I making it in random /ops. TLDR : If you take PVP players out From Co-op, the same problems will remain
-
Yes, that is a problem, even adding more bots to the mix like WG already done, didn't change that. Tell your team to let the bots cap. By letting them cap they will have a point income, slowing down the end of the game. But good luck with that. How about NO. Let the Ultimate Frontier bots stay where they are, forgotten. I think the simplest solution is suspending the point system in co-op and putting in it's place last man standing system with the current timer (15 or 20 minutes)

A clutter of stickies makes this forum unappealing to read
Butterdoll replied to RigorMortis76's topic in General Discussion
Hey man, you can stick around or go to the NA forum, your call, but since Na forum stopped with stickies (according to you) I think you have better chances here. So... -
How far "Average Joe" player can go with the "Puerto Rico" building stages without using Doubloon accelerators at all?
Butterdoll replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
As is I will complete phase 22 (ticking at 513 points a minute) I'm planning to end D3 in the next weekend, so phase 26? -
Alright, alright, came on I've got PEV and Bayern it's strait out better in everyway but in speed, but I do some running around here and there with PEV (yeap, it's all you gonna do with it) And Graf Spee, at the moment it's my most wanted premium ship. Regarding Gorizia. you say Gorizia and I'm earing Pensacola. All I read is SAP this, SAP that but what about AP?

How's the reload? around 20s? if so There are better silver dd hunters out there

Did the CV-rework make you change class or anything?
Butterdoll replied to loppantorkel's topic in General Discussion
Yes, but not due to cvs. ( wait for the irony ) I was a more or less 95% cruiser main, now i'm a more or less 90% cruiser main. With all this percentage in being Main... My highest ship is FDG. (the irony isn't over yet) I'm not clicking with all my t8 cruisers (4 or 5) they are like my Bayern in manoeuvrability, and they are slower doing everything than my other ships ofc I don't play them nearly as much as I play my t6 and t7 ships, mainly because they are expensive to run. but the irony is there. Maybe i'll try Friesland -
Just unlocked Amagi, need advice
Butterdoll replied to SolanumTuberosumRex's topic in General Discussion
Well, Amagi. Of all IJN BBs , it's the one that most probably I can see myself in. Turtle back but not German grade levels. According to Flamu it has 32 mm all over so it needs tankiness and concealment -
I will what? regret? Nah,

What Were Your Greatest Gaming Achievements Today ?
Butterdoll replied to Hanszeehock's topic in General Discussion
Hi, it's me again :) I have a personal rule, I don't post anything that not surpass my previous post, that means, good news for me, yeah. This was from my last game. This turned out to be an exciting game, at an certain point we were losing. down 2 ships (5, down an entire flank vs 3), down in points (a couple of hundred) and down in dds. It looked bleak. But we did it, we turned the game in our favour. And for today that's all folks
